And this is why I do not follow CNN. This came up in my feed, and I wanted to hear what Trudeau had to say. And I wanted to hear him speak in French. But no, you booger globs must think that there are no people in America who speak French, and no people in America who would like to hear him speak French. You are part of the problem, CNN. And then to hear this woman say what she says after that talk is just appalling to me. Lady, you are a turncoat. You do not have your ethics and morals in place. Anti-American? Anti-American? This is a move Trump himself didn't even want to take. He was forced to do so by the American energy sector. Trump wants america to become completely free of any foreign dependence. The only thing Canada has that the United States depends on is their energy for the Northern US. Trump has slashed regulations and opened land for American companies to start drilling and providing their own energy to the US. They decided against it for record profits. This will for e them to start drilling in the US by making it cheaper than getting energy from Canada. This has nothing to do with Russia. If it did, the US could get all the cheap oil and natural gas as he wants. Putin would give it to the US for free. Trump could careless about Russia or Putin. He wants american energy companys to start doing their jobs and provide energy to the american people at a reasonable cost. But all they are worried about is their record profits.

If you understand what you have done and realize the implications, then peacefully protest (if that is still allowed with your evolving fascist/populist/authoritarian government). Contact your local, state/territorial and federal government officials. You can let your governors, senators and representatives know that you do not agree with the government’s actions and the subsequent hardship it will impose not only on the world but on you, your family and neighbours. Make change happen in a peaceful, non violent manner, while you still can. We didn’t ask for nor want this absurdly unnecessary confrontation but when attacked, we will fight our old friends and historic allies. Elbows up Canada!
