Due to above two reasons, Canada has to promote immigration in order to avoid depopulation which may harm the economy. 4. Since immigration is promoted, it has opened door for Indians, arabs, chinese. 5. Canada is changing because whites did forgot that they are required to bear enough children to preserve their identify and race. 6. Whites can change this trend if they decide. How? As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

Don’t know about Canada, but in US, Indians are the richest ethnic groups. Canada does attract lesser skilled Indians. However, pretty sure Indians contribute more than their share of taxes. Learn from Gulf countries open your markets let young, educated people come to your country establish businesses, provide you services and if possible, they will bear children for you to increase your population. Education is a Migration Pathway that is why education has increasingly become a gateway for migration, especially in countries like Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Potential future immigrants who are already educated and adapted to the country. Canadian colleges and universities actively recruit in India because it's a guaranteed market. Some Canadians have prioritized volume over quality, which has led to systemic issues. You are not alone England, Australia and New Zealand are milking Indians too

As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.

Canadian that spent 16 years in Japan. I went as an individual. I stayed as an individual. Married a Japanese. Came back to Canada for a pension and can't wait to leave. I were in Japan and if I saw a group of Canadians arrive expecting Japan to change for them, I would have been severely pissed off with them. Every other country and normal immigrant that came as an individual or individual family probably thinks the same way I do. No one in any country likes to see "Mass Immigration" and even Japan these days are looking at an influx of half a million Indians and who knows how many more Africans. I live in Brampton, i am all for diversity but where is the diversity if everyone is Indian. I am French originally and i am in a minority of one! Canada's population is now almost 10% Indian, maybe more if we can accurately count the ones illegally staying in the country (trust me there's lots). Immigration has increased because the government needs more people for the economy. The population 25+ years ago was enough to keep with the costs and demand. Now, Canada probably has a lot of demand and needs an influx of people both for education and jobs. Indians are enticed to come because they hear about towns that cater towards Indians like Brampton. Chinese people used to be the majority of immigrants and that was because Chinatowns would cater to them. Not to mention, these immigrants likely have temporary worker or student visas. These an whole thing with the student visas but I don't want to get into it. So Amazon and other large companies need a lot of workers for their demand and look outside of Canada to fill the job numbers. Meanwhile, Canadians that have been here for awhile are on the streets and jobless. So basically, Canada needs immigration for its demand but I think when too many people come all at once and from usually one country, Canadians will notice the change and feel the tensions that come with it.

I’m a white American recently retired at 63. There are millions here and in Canada that are / will be collecting Social Security or the Canadian Equivalent. If we want those funds to be there in the future we absolutely MUST have immigration. In my family we had 11 girls born 1994-2006. Exactly 2 of these women are moms and they have 1 kid. That’s called population collapse. Any economy to continue prospering needs a continual supply of new workers paying taxes. White people ain’t doing it. Whether it’s Indians in Canada or Hispanics in the US, we need these people. These immigrant communities also practice the principles that made America/ Canada great. Faith family and community. What no one discusses is how incredibly racist Canadians have been towards Indians for the past 100+ years. See I'm conflicted now actually. So you're saying these Indian communities are providing free resources at large scales for food and hospitality that aren't being taken advantage of by the homeless and impoverished white population? I'm not sure where the problem starts here.. because to be quite honest the rest of the country isn't necessiraly like this. Places like Hamilton and Toronto are incredibly mixed, where I'm not sure there is a minority, and places such as Welland, st Catherine's, Niagara, Langley, are still largely white. At what point do we look at people who are choosing to live on the streets and do drugs and say they are not taking advantage of the resources and opportunities being provided to them? And Brampton has been this way, to be honest, for 20 years. At what point do we accept that this is now Brampton, and that the country offers a lot of diversity for those who would choose to not live in it.

Grew up in Brampton from age 5-10, half a decade of being a kid in such an open suburb area. Many neighbourhoods now we're farmlands and empty lots. The Indian population was just starting to boom, as I thought would all other ethnicities. Regardless of the changes of demographics, Brampton is still such a beautiful city, just taken over by overpopulation at a fast pace. We do not complain, but as a Country we should consider the rate of growth as a positive but also has many negatives. Finding jobs in Brampton is nearly impossible as a young adult - and also looking for new homes with landlords that aren't of Indian descent is becoming a rare occurrence. Changes can be made to benefit both Canadians and Indians as we are known for accepting all cultures, that is what I love about Canada. It is a sight to see when you witness the Indian culture in Brampton, lets not take that away!

Remember the British stole $44 Trillion from Indians during colonial era. India controlled over a quarter of the world trade before they arrived. I don't have the Canadian numbers but in the US 6% of tax comes from Indians and they're 1% of the population. You don't have to trust me you can look it up. The motives of this look racist because when you try hiring white folks the retention rate is extremely low, these past 6 months I have seen 8 employees in managerial positions who quit less than 2 weeks and it's impossible to retain them no matter what salary you offer and then when you go hire an Indian they just don't quit and work harder. But again that's an anecdote, that doesn't mean white folks don't work hard. Everyone has different experiences so stop, putting half baked stuff out on the internet and stop embarrassing yourself. this video was very unresolved message buddy. i am sorry if my words sound stupid or weird, my apologies. as an indian who live in india, yes the scarcity related to jobs and financial scrutiny is real but i wouldn't dare leave my country. there are ways to live happily here i am sure for some it might not be as such and they chose to live abroad that's their decision i have nothing to say there. but you have to also understand India houses 1.47 billion population. 1 out of 300 people are able to get in canada but since the size pool is bigger that tries for it the number sky rocket as well. i have no remarks against india not against the canadian who have lived there for generations. in my eyes they both are right and it's government that should do something about it. i can totally understand the perspective of white canadians if all they see is a chruch that was turned into a hindu temple.

I understand the culture clash; I lived in Abbotsford, BC, moving there in 2005 and staying for nearly 10 years, and the Sikh/Indian population was very prevalent there. They had a reputation of not "joining in" until the third generation and a bad habit of only dealing with other Indians, not even bothering to try and learn English, and being a bit of a nuisance in the SevenOaks Mall. I have memories of them complaining when the employees didn't know any Punjabi, trying to haggle prices in the stores (sometimes aggressively), and harassing female staff. By the third generation they generally had adopted fully into Canadian culture and, oddly enough, the most violent clashes were between first generation and third generation Indians because the first generation was "behaving badly".

The thing about India is they only focus on white collar work and this is enforced in their culture and education system. This country of ~1.45 BILLION people (India) vs a population of ~41.3 million people (Canada) looks at white collar work as the only respectable work, sometimes because of their caste system. That's why a lot of poor Indians bathe in contaminated waste water and you see garbage all over the streets. Yet India has some remarkable engineers and mathematicians out of the human species and their billionaires living ~100 meters from the poorest. Second, Indians worship bartering or negotiating for everything even with a set price. saw a group of Indians upset with the price of entry in apple orchard and start arguing with the cashier trying to negotiate the price (my most recent experience). It's just a very different culture that only wants their own from education to even marriage. It's not gonna work with Western values

Sad to see the racist comments both in the video as well as in the comments. There is no doubt that Canada took too many immigrants in the past 5-7 years. The reasons are many - and the blame goes on both the provincial conservatives and federal liberals. The tuition freeze in Ontario caused colleges and universities to treat foreign students as an ATM to balance their budgets. Foreign enrollments skyrocketed, especially in colleges, with students paying top dollar for dubious degrees with no job prospects. This put strains on the job market, and the housing/rental market. As an educated Indian-American who now lives in Canada, it pains me to see my fellow countrymen dominating Uber, Uber Eats, Bicycle food delivery and Tim Hortons. No one uproots everything in their home country and comes all the way for this. Most of these people are here legally and they work really hard. A last word - leaving aside the Khalistan issue that has caused a wedge between Hindus and Sikhs - the Indian diaspora, especially the Sikh, are amazing in the amount of charitable work that they do. Their concept of seva is unmatched. No one goes hungry when there is a Gurdwara around, as there is always free nutritious food. Same is true for temples. Even a young poor Steve Jobs ate at Iskcon temples. Last point - while some of Canada's problems are because of excessive immigration, Canada would be nothing without immigrants. The population would decline, with a native fertility rate of under 1.4, and entitlement programs would be in deep trouble.

You can go to any city or town in Canada now. It’s hard to find a Canadian working. In Canada we have foreign workers programs that allows businesses to hire foreigners and the liberal federal govt pays 1/3 of these foreigners salaries. So of course any business like retail or restaurant’s biggest overhead is labour costs so if they can save like $6.00 an hour on every employee why wouldn’t they opt in for that. I also did a very deep dive into the voters in Canada. At least 4.5 million out of the 8.5 million voted the Carney liberals got in April 2025 were immigrant votes. That’s why Carney and liberals pander to the gigantic Muslim population in Canada. Muslims, Chinese, Indians from India, Ukrainians, Filipinos they all pretty much vote liberal. There weee over 100 Muslim groups that told their Muslim community to only vote for candidates that support Gaza Muslims and Palestinians. How is that not election interference. We know the Chinese directly interfere in our elections by threatening Chinese Canadians to vote liberal or their families in China will be harmed or they will be harmed inside Canada. In June Carney said Muslim values are Canadian values. Either this clown has no idea how radical Islam is or he knows and just panders for votes. Liberal cabinet ministers Anita Anand and Melanie Joly they both openly campaigned saying they must support Palestine because they both have large Muslim populations in their respective ridings. Over half of the liberal voter base is foreign now. I started in 2019 telling the federal conservatives look the liberals are importing new liberal voters. The party needs a strategy to win over the immigrant vote. I proposed hiring a team of individuals from the Muslim community, Chinese community etc to brainstorm on how to get their message across that if your an immigrant your best to vote conservative because the liberals don’t care about them they just want their vote. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. Bit of the conservatives refuse to pivot we will never see another federal conservative govt in our lifetimes. It’s not racist it’s the truth. We need a foreign registry act to kick out foreign entities that harass bully and threaten immigrants in Canada to bend the knee or else. If we have 100 Islamic groups telling their community it’s yo only vote one way charge them with election interference. We need electoral reform badly in Canada. We need to end all immigration to Canada for at least 5 years maybe even 10. We need to deport those here illegally. No more fake asylum claims. This country can still be saved but we need immigrants on board to help save it. We need to remove broadcasting licenses of mainstream media networks that lie and bash conservatives. That’s deliberate political interference. It’s time we enforce the law. No more hate speech or hate crimes against any community especially the Jews. Deport these ppl back to Gaza if they are here on visas or revoke their citizenship and send them packing. We need ICE in Canada like they have in America. It’s long over due. If we get a hold of our borders and we stop the drugs we would have a new trade deal with Trump tomorrow. Carney doesn’t want that because it’s all he has to fear monger ppl oh bad Trump me Tarzan me good bad orange man. Haven’t you had enough now Canada?
