Gee…what a surprise! ….NOT! \nThe most toxic person in the world who LOVES to create chaos & division has stirred up a bees nest in countries all around the world. That’s what Trump does. Chaos, division, hard feelings & bitterness are his forté. \nThat’s the leader America has chosen over someone with common sense, intelligence, & who would have tried to unite the American ppl & create an economy that would be stable & help the majority of Americans because Kamala IS like the majority of Americans. She understands the struggle of trying to making a living when you’re not born into wealth like Trump was.\nHe can’t relate to the struggles of the average American family trying to earn enough to provide for their families. He’s never known that struggle. \nAnd why should he care if he causes ppl on both sides of the border to lose jobs, & consequently lose their homes? He’s rich. He can afford the higher costs of everything in both countries that he is initiating. He chose this trade war because he wants to take over Canada. \nWhat is wrong with Americans who thought voting him in AGAIN was a great idea over the common sense & economic stability Kamala Harris offered? He TOLD you he was going to do this. \nYou ppl who voted for him KNEW his past history. He’s a proven liar, a cheat, a fraud, a scammer, a sexist, a predator of vulnerable women, & a convicted felon..\nAnd more than anything else, he’s a BULLY! He uses his words with his bull horn & public media to speak against anyone who opposes him to try to subtly motivate his MAGA hounds to attack the ppl & their families that actually tell the truth about him. And then he steps aside & waits for his minions to respond & acts totally innocent as if he is not responsible because he did not directly tell them to go after the ppl he very purposely speaks hostile about. WAKE UP! He IS responsible because he knows very well his words have power to influence ppl to take action. \nAnd too many cowards in the Supreme Court & Republican party including his own VP Mike Pence were all too afraid to speak up against him. \nIf the majority of Americans want such a toxic person for leader, that’s America’s poor choice but Canada wants NO PART in his BS.\nHands off Canada because we WILL stand united & will support our governments efforts & the efforts of other Canadians to withstand against Trump’s bullying tactics.\nBUY CANADIAN!

So, suddenly Canada is suddenly now arresting these fentanyl gangs in large numbers, spending money on defense and patrolling the borders for illegal immigrants with helicopters and ground troops. Our government knew about these tariffs since the beginning after Trump’s election, and what have they done? Zip, zero, nada because they simply have no clue how to deal with it, but to throw the toys out of the cot. That is hopefully set to change soon and, with a proper government in place, then we can start real negotiations.

American here. I am on a limited income (Social Security) but I 100% support Canada & what Canada needs to do to counteract the actions of our incompetent, insane 'President'. Go Canada! I have been all over Canada, and i will say they are polite, kind, funny, great people. I'm from Montana, and we have always had so much in common. Americans ARE NOT in favor of the way our president, vice president, and the figure cloaked in darkness, ARE BEHAVING. PLEASE KNOW, not all Americans are in favor of our governmental policies, and some of us, quite frankly, are afraid. A lot of the American people are still the same. We want to send aid to Ukraine, we want to have a government that does its job, and we want to be friends with those on our borders. We're still here. We're not all like those on Pennsylvania Avenue.

As a Canadian for 45 years, we all know others write his speeches and this like many of his speeches sounds overly scripted. In this respect, I actually prefer Trump who has less filters when he speaks. Trump is clearly trying to save America from further drowing in debt by increasing government revenue while minimizing expenses which is commendable although I don't approve of all his tactics.

We support our allies. Everyone, except possibly some Republicans, know Trump and Vance work for Putin, not the people. The rest of the Republicans in government, unfortunately, don’t care.

Trump is purposely destroying our country as we know it to pay back Putin for helping him win the election, keeping trump out of jail, and making available our coffers as trumps personal piggy bank. Trump is in bed with Putin. This is planned. Trump is a traitor and so are the people he has put in place in our government. I am heart broken but not about to give up.

As a Brazilian, i don't know why Canadians are still trying tho deal with America. It's clearly not a democratic government. Brazil and Canada has dealt for so long, it's time to increase this. Brazil is part of BRICS countries, but it doesn't mean it's not democrat. Why Canadians keep thinking about EU and EUA? So many things have happened and Brazil is now a strong partner. Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.
