The antiChrist that is Donald J. Trump has the objective of wreaking havoc and chaos all around so you Americans aren't going to know are coming or going. That's the only way he has power and domination over you. That's the truth, and you know it! You should get rid of him before he totally destroys the country.

Prime Minister, a lot of us, including myself, never voted for this chaos. You do what you need to do to counter this. I for one admire Canada very much. Wish I could move to Canada.

Can you guys arrest that orange idiot for not adhering to the oath, serving the Americans, not the Russians??? How much more chaos and destruction needs to happen before you act??? I am from Kazakhstan, and we stand with Canada, Ukraine, and Mexico! Unfortunately, our government cannot openly express what we truly think because of our crazy neighbor. We share the longest land border in the world with Russia.\n\nThe only way to achieve peace in the world is to grant freedom to the indigenous nations within Russia, who are enslaved in their own homeland. If Russia were to retreat to its true borders—around Moscow—this world would become a much better place to live.\n\nAs Kazakhs, we know the Russian regime very well. We have been deceived more than once by Russian rulers over the past 200 years, and due to their ruthless policies, we lost more than 70% of our population. They have never lived well, and their goal is to make the whole world suffer just as much as they do.\n\nAll of this chaos and crisis originates from Russia!

One single man, causing all this chaos that will probably ruin millions of lives.....power is a dangerous thing.

I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. He does not care about the American people. Trump only cares about himself and his relationship with Mother Russia and Putin. TRUMP doesn't want peace. He is thriving on the chaos that he and Musk are initiating. Trump needs to be impeached immediately but our Congresmaen and women, who are supposed to represent their populations are too scared to do anything other than what Trump tells them to do. Our Government is supported to have a Check and Balance function, but none of the branches have the guts to stand up to TRump. I really believe that Trump's American first policy is to end up as America ALONE.

These terrible consequences stem from a single mad leader whose ego is as inflated as his unpleasant demeanor. His reckless ambitions and self-centered decisions are dragging millions of ordinary people—both in his country and others—into unnecessary suffering. As if people didn’t already have enough problems to deal with, this maniac comes along, sowing chaos and adding to their burdens. His actions are not just destructive but reflect a dangerous disregard for humanity, leaving a trail of devastation that will take years to repair. Leaders like him remind us of the importance of vigilance and the need to unite against such destructive egotism.

From the Netherlands: I honestly admire the strong stance of Canada and have always felt their ethics and kindness are wonderful. I hope Europe and Canada can find new ways of trade and unity among this chaos.

I am in the US. While it will hurt all concerned, I hope Canada and Mexico go to the mat on these tariffs. We have got to get people to turn against Trump and to attempt to teach him to stop this chaos . Impossible, I know.

The only thing that makes sense is that President Trump has been compromised. We need to stop for a moment, ignore the chaos and demand an investigation into the President Trump. Too much of his corruption has been aggressively swept under the rug. Agencies that have investigated him have been targeted.\n\nWe know that he is an ego maniac. Why would he do these things that would make people on both sides of the aisle hate him? Why would he publicly align himself with dictators and known enemies of the U.S. and then destroy relationships with our allies in just over a month in office?\n\nSomething isn't right. We need to demand a deep dive into the President and VP JD Vance. We need to do this before they plung us into civil war.\n\nWhen we are poor and struggling, we tend to voice our frustrations within our communities and turn on one another. This isn't the time for that! No matter how you voted. No one voted for this! Put your differences to the side. Price hikes, unemployment and being cut off from resources will not discriminated based on your race, religion, economic status or citizenship.

Look at your children and grandchildren and weep. There will be no action on the climate crisis as long as Donald wreaks global havoc. America please look outside your chaos. Pay attention??

How refreshing it must be to have a national leader who actually speaks clearly and truthfully.\nBy choosing Trump, 50% of Americans chose chaos...and it's only beginning.

It is sad but this is exactly what Trump is wanting. He is creating chaos and attacking our friends so he can create an emergency and declare martial law. In effect Trump is becoming a dictator who aligns with Russia and will be Putin's puppet. Great speech from PM Trudeau. I support Canada and all actions they take against Trump, regardless of how that will hurt us. This is ALL Trump's fault.

The reason for this 'trade war' is not about 'trade'. It's about 'creating chaos' so that president Trump is the 'centre' of world attention. A malignant naracistic individual apparently cannot have anyone seemingly to be 'doing better' or being more successful than he is. Canada ?? is a very successful nation and because of its economic success it is creating envy and apparently hatred in certain individuals who view the success of Canada ?? as a threat to themselves. The USA now apparently cannot see the value of a strong and stable economy as its near neighbours. Thats why apparently there are some who now want to crash the Canadian economy and when times then 'get tough' the blame and responsibility for this chaos will be accepted by whom. Presidents and Prime Ministers come and go. Once their 'term is over' they simply 'walk away'. World leaders need to be men or women of integrity and honesty who 'do the right thing'. With 'great power' comes 'great responsibility'. You only 'give responsibility' to someone who has the wisdom and expertise and understanding in order to both 'hold' and 'govern' wisely and without fear or favor. Maybe its time for others in positions of authority in other institutions to step in and 'take control'. You would never let a child drive a super car on the highway so how much 'damage' has to happen before a world leader is not 'held to account' and his 'hands removed' from the steering wheel before there is a motor accident so large that the freeway is rendered unless and has to be totally shut down your. You cannot have total power in the hands of individuals who apparently do not possess the necessary skills knowledge and experience and wisdom that is required to fulfil the role they were elected to fulfil. A person with the mind and mentality of a child apparently is not a fit person to be running the economy of any nation. May Canada ?? remember its roots and may we all be thankful for true and honest leaders who have integrity and do and say the right thing. Thank you Mr Prime minister. I trust that King Charles III has heard what his Canadian prime minister has said and what he is doing with total integrity.

Thank You PM Trudeau, but the point IS to hurt the people, because a broken people are easier to control while you stage a bloodless coup, with the beneficiaries being Russia and the billionaire oligarchs. Create confusion, chaos and fear and you control the people. Threaten their very way of life and create instability and you control the people. Donald, and I noticed you refrained from calling him President Trump because he is certainly not acting like a president, Donald is siding with our enemies, snuggling up to a malicious dictator rather than taking a stand for right and for the common good. He has absolutely no reason to impose tariffs and is actually breaking legal agreements to do so, but we all know that Trump believes he is above the law. If you like this speech, go and listen to Premier Ford of Ontario as he threatens to tariff all the energy which flows into the States or even just cut it off. Nobody wins in this war, certainly not Americans. But Elon and Donald don't care. Its extremly puzzling why Trump is intent on causing chaos. What is the end goal, that is what people should be asking.
