As a Brazilian, i don't know why Canadians are still trying tho deal with America. It's clearly not a democratic government. Brazil and Canada has dealt for so long, it's time to increase this. Brazil is part of BRICS countries, but it doesn't mean it's not democrat. Why Canadians keep thinking about EU and EUA? So many things have happened and Brazil is now a strong partner. We support Canada against this betray of USA. We have been considered as USA backyard. But that is past. We did it, and now we are strong. Canada needs to open it's eyes to some other better future.

How truly sad and disgusted I am at Trump's attack on Canada, Mexico and all his allies. It is beyond comprehension that Trump is being allowed by the Congress and the Senate to trample on the Allies of the USA. I am in Australia and I feel the concern and the pain being suffered by Canadians, historically the like us, alllies of the USA, because of the treachery and betrayal by the USA, whilst supporting despots like Putin in its attacks on our democratic way of life. We are in dangerous times indeed. Where we end up only God knows. I know onr thing for sure God is not on the side of the USA in its treachery.

That is the Trade deficit the United States carried with Canada last year, almost a trillion dollars of lost production; lost profit and lost jobs and lost income for working class Americans. In addition to this Trade Deficit, U.S. exporters face possible 5 to 10 percent taxes in the form of sales taxes from some provinces and the federal government. Mr. Trump is trying to level the playing field which will even this deficit. This is fair for both parties. Tradeau knows this, but being a leftist and a globalist, he will say all manner of things against Trump.

The reason for this is Trump wants industry back in the US, and as long as people buy things from outside of the US cheaper, that's not going to happen. Thus the tariffs. That's what they're for, protectionism. Why he pretends it won't be bad for americans or that they won't be paying more for products, I don't know. Perhaps his way of preparing people for bad times. Or the wishful thinking bit he swears to. Whatever. But what sane person would build up an industry predicated on Trump being consistent and willing to stay the course? Don’t let his BS fool you! Look around in your own communities. Look at the health care system. How many do you know that don’t have a GP so can’t get proper care even though they are sick. The ER tells us we have to have a general practitioner to get anything done! And then there are communities like on Vancouver Island that have closed ER’s in many cities leaving the injured to drive for 2 to 4 hours to the nearest ER. Have any Canadian citizens not heard of fentanyl deaths? Or had someone within 6 people from them have related addiction issues. How many homeless people wander the streets of your communities?
