I am a Barber and depend on tips to make my job worthwhile. When an Indian immigrant has a haircut it is extremely rare to get any tip. So many get haircuts as the immigration levels go up that I will likely have to find a second job to make ends meet.

In Canada, it's by law that the customer received changes. \n\nFrom watching this video start to end. There's was nothing that the customer said it's indicated any racism. \n\n\nSure the customer used colorful languages by expressing his frustration. The app/restaurants need to verifying, if the payment it's cash or app. The client it's not at fault. Granted the video isn't the full story. \n\nIn short, it's the duty of the delivery guy to give change. Tips it's a privilege, not backed by law. \n\nGood job on both sides for keep it professional with no physical violence. \n\nAgain, no racism was used. The client simply want to protect himself by recording it.

I know so many delivery drivers that are so self entitled to more tips.. etc one had a full tantrum on my 15yr old kid when i wasnt home. Just for asking for the change. Luckily i was almost home and came in time to deal with his ignorant self. He wanted all the change 25.00 and tried to rip off my kid.

If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

As a Canadian born here, I think the foreign students are the tip of the iceberg. We also have to consider people that came in, and still do illegally including a criminal element. We also have a weak government that brings in folks from war torn countries, and they are not always that countries best people. Look at the Palestinian situation right now, where Most other Arab countries do not want these people entering their countries. We have to ask ourselves why that is, and is it good for Canada to bring in people where the entire Arab world says Nope! I think the entire situation in Israel and Gaza is terrible, and at the same time with some groups even the Children are raised to Hate and or be Violent. So if we are bringing in people who Hate and Support a terrorist organization, we can pretty much guess what’s going to happen inside Canada. In fact we are already seeing the hate and division. They can’t figure out this is NOT Israel, and there are no wars in Canada currently. However if they continue down this path of Hate and violence, Canada could become another battle ground. Including some of these groups who have beef’s back in their own countries! If your hell bent on war, go back and defend your own country, and don’t try that crap in Canada.

in 2018 the government was saying that no one is taking min wage jobs. They are vacant and that sector is having a hard time filling in positions. The locals didn't want to work min pay jobs. They rather go serve tables for the extra tips. So they brought ppl from abroad to fill those positions. Now everyone is crying. The current narrative is all fake and made up. (A nice way of saving and good discipline)\n\nYears ago, I used to make well over $40/hour on a busy evening, plus tips. Now I can barely even make $20. All of this is caused by corporate greed gumming up the system with lobbying, NIMBYism, and plain old corruption by large real estate and rental groups. Love or hate Trudeau, it doesn't matter, either Liberals or Conservatives would have let this happen. The system is working as designed. Corporate greed is sucking the wealth and value out of North America and if we don't push against it, we'll continue to see more of the same. This has been happening for decades, this didn't begin in 2015. It's just we're now hitting the tipping point where everyone wakes up and realizes that blindly chasing profits doesn't create a strong economy or a strong country. Pizza delivery guy should carry change for 'small' denominations unless it only does card transactions.\n\nLaw requires businesses to carry change for small denominations. Imagine the price is 15 dollars and a few cents, and the customer has a 20 dollar bill; it is illegal to force the client into a nearly 5 dollar delivery tip because the business did not let delivery guy carry small change . As usual, shady business practices.\n\nNo doubt the verbal rant was over the top, but the business practice of not carrying small change and forcing customer's hand is also illegal !!\n\nThat is why his bosses may have told him to leave with his tail tucked between his legs rather than risk a costlier lawsuit.

Gotta be honest, as offish as that customers behavior was, the delivery guy did wrong in my opinion and gave off some strong victim vibes, rather than being cooperative. \nApperently this Pizza guy doesn't carry any change with him and expects the customer to pay fit or unwillingly tip him otherwise.\nAlternatively he offers the customer to return the change later and leave with his money, which isnt a trustworthy offer either. look the guy wanted a bunch of money as a tip because he comes from somewhere where tipping is not customary so he brought no change hoping he could keep the rest as a tip.however in the west it is not normal to spend the same amount on tip as you would on all the food if we did this we would pay double for food.

It's a typical delivery driver scam where they don't have exact change to scam a (bigger) tip. Like the driver has never delivered pizzas before. Total scam of the driver regardless of race.

A perfect example of increasing Balkanization in the country. 'Multiculturalism' is an unstable, fleeting thing. Like attracts like. It's a natural human response. Peoples of all backgrounds tend to prefer to live amongst their own. As the city gradually reached a demographic tipping point, the majority of the ethnic-European population left for areas that better reflected their cultural preferences. Only the poor, addicted and those with few options remain. This will happen everywhere.
