As a native American woman, from the Red Lake Reservation, I'm embarrassed and ashamed. I did not vote for Donald Trump. I am ashamed of his actions.

HELP! Please do not punish the citizens of the USA for the actions of one person.

The majority of us voted for this President and his actions. How dare a foreign leader try to persuade us to go against our government. We are not stupid, we voted for him. \n\nDemocracy wins. Support your own country or join ours.

As a Filipino, I will not be surprised if the US stops support for the Philippines fighting against China's aggressive actions on taking lands and seas in the west Philippine sea, Trump might even support China taking west Philippine sea or even let China take the Taiwan.

I am so ashamed of my government's actions towards Canada and Mexico that it isn't even funny. Trump needs to be impeached removed from office and imprisoned.

I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. Now I just think of how selfish it was to sabotage Canada. American private equities want to rock our system and buy up all they can and so I am happy we are watching for this. I think Donald did this to try and buy up Canadian companies. This should be made illegal. I am willing to suffer for up to pull the plug on all resources and energy going to America “suddenly” do they have no time to adapt and collectively suffer. We even produce the ingredient you need for your nuclear weapons and otherwise need to get this from Russia. Canada has the ability to help our allies get nuclear weapons to protect against “America as our #1 enemy now”. Will we share too secret info with you when Trump clearly seems to be working with Russia? Putin dream for NATO to break down and now Trump ours that I to action . Trump wants everyone to spend money on military to fuel the American military industrial complex, something each and every huge tech company you have participated. You have essentially been taken over by a global entity that doesn’t care about democracy. We are going to manufacture our own weapons to have zero dependency on America. That makes no sense to buy weapons from the country threatening to invade you. \n\nHow will America feel to be totally alone in the global stage all under the power of one unstable man with multiple personality disorders. Trump things Putin is Americas friend and meanwhile in Russian media America spoken of as enemy number one. Meanwhile, America is 30% full of people with such little education in politics that they do not even know what is considered red flags to democracy. The 20% needed to shift will see the light once the worst man made intentional recession begins and the billionaires buy up 30% of your homes and buildings. Nothing at all will be outside of billionaire and corporate control and now all your data is in AI. how did all American value fall in just one month. Anyone not questioning this now, ai promise you is being blackmailed or is corrupt. \n\nThe bureaucracy prevents dictatorship. Now Trump is removing this. Just listen to project 2025. America is fully on track.

the fact this leader thinks that we Americans give a flying fuck what he has to babble about is funny. I as a American am feeling much more hopeful on the action that our president is making is for the better of America and its allies. stay in your lane and stop acting like you can say another country with things that aren't true or aliened to things going on.

Washington State resident here. Could we secede and merge with BC? Seriously, Trump has made it absolutely clear that his actions and intentions have nothing at all to do with what is good for the ordinary citizens of this country or the future of American democracy. I do not know if tariffs or Trump's actions are the correct thing to do. But why can't the USA do 25% tariffs, if Canada has 65% tariffs on the USA? Why is Canada demanding the USA support them? Someone please explain it to me. And Trudeau could have picked up the phone and called Trump, this speech was not meant to solve anything. What is so brilliant except to heighten rhetoric and tension? Someone needs to be a grown up but going on CNN and insulting Trump isn't the way.

The United States is BANKRUPT! That is the only reason that makes sense why Trump needs tariffs on product from other countries (Trump Needs to have his people buy American). The USA needs all the money spent on themselves rather than on foreign products. This is also why Trump is pulling a Putin by trying to invade friendly countries, Even this action is to try to force Canada to become part of the United States so that they will own and Control our natural resources. The thing that the USA forgets is Canadians are Proud and Resistant to threats. We will remember this for a long time and even if this ILLEGAL ACTION works you will gain 40 MILLION TERRORISTS Hell bent on killing all Americans!

This action will add more homeless people and drug addicts on the streets of Canada and at the same time drive many Canadians out of their own country because of the already rising cost of housing and other necessities.

What is currently happening in America is surreal. The actions of our president do not represent how the American people think and feel.

Trudeau was asked to do 1 thing. Take reasonable and responsible actions on drugs. He didn't. On purpose... As an American, I am ashamed of our president. I apologize to the Canadian people and want them to know that the vast majority of Americans do not support what our president is doing. We will do what we can to stop him, and I hope when this insanity is over, you can forgive us and we can restore our relationship. We know that because of Donald Trump's stupid actions, we will have a lot of work to do in restoring your trust in us. Again, I apologize.

Do what you gotta do Canada. I fear half of my country unfortunately needs to learn the hard way. I am never a fan of our Prime Minister but today, he got my full respect and admiration. We all know it is not about Fentanyl or illegal immigrants crossing from Canada as little as they were.
