Instead of relying on immigration, Canada should focus on innovation — create robots, invest in R&D, and encourage its own population to have more children. Solving the labour shortage domestically is a long-term solution. Bringing in large numbers of people from 3rd world countries won’t fix the real issues — it may even harm the system over time. Speaking as an Indian, I can say that many of our people don’t adapt to the host country’s culture or values; instead, they often bring the same mindset that created problems back home. Look at India — poor infrastructure, declining quality of life, and a government more focused on propaganda than progress. Importing that mentality, even among the so-called “educated,” won’t benefit Canada. Core values and a willingness to evolve matter far more than degrees. Your govt should also stop permit or spending public money on building temples, mosques, or any religious structures. Why do we even need them? Faith is a personal matter — keep your beliefs and celebrations at home. Things starts with these things only.

Immigration is a scam. There's very little, if any, economic benefit from immigration, and what benefit there is has been shown to almost always be captured by those who hired immigrants and the immigrants themselves, while passing on all the economic, social, and environmental burdens to our poor communities. Let's face it, immigration is a transfer of money from labor to capital it's about 3 things: profit, power, and punishment. We need to have an immigration moratorium. We also need to focus on re-migration for those who do not assimilate. Of course, none of this will happen until immigration becomes a problem for those at the top who have been pushing it down our throats for decades.

Yes fraud immigration is problem. But do you know whats worse? Getting 5M+ immigrations without enough infrastructures, law enforcement, and economic power to compensate all the immigrants. Our government is wrong too.

I’m the son of Indian immigrants who came into Melbourne, Australia 34 years ago, my mom came with her family of 8 and my father came here by himself. The exact same thing is happening over here. We have suburbs in our eastern side which have turned into pockets of Punjab and Haryana. We have been in the restaurant industry for 30 years now, these students are taking our cash in what is a ‘cashless economy’. We’ve had one particular instance where a former employee faked her marriage certificates in order to get her permanent residency, now she’s in trouble with the authorities and may face some years in jail. The problem is they like taking ‘shortcuts’ and then they get stuck and expect us as employers to save them. The systems put into place have been exhausted to the point where is it useless.

Come into the West, a lot of white people give you shit, *no matter what you do* . Obviously not all of them. But in this modern era , enough of them to fund an entire media ecosystem just for that perspective. You think your immigrants weren't going to notice? Assimilate into _what_ ? The loudest mouths telling you they hate you and you're responsible for all their problems despite being a minority, because you're not a white Christian? And then you're going to scapegoat _them_ for the problems your government and system created, refuse to adapt, and complain that someone did. And _also_ , just like here in NYC.. the reason why a place gets taken over by a bunch of colored immigrants.. is usually because white people start _running_ . And again, the few that are left, complain about _their own_ fleeing, before doing so themselves. Hilarious. I'm in NYC, my neighborhood is literally every kind of immigrant, Filipino, Jamaican, West Indian, Indian, Haitian... all low to middle class, with some who really _saved_ up working for their 30-50 years here. Kids born or here since little kids, educated and making good money with few exceptions. And so of course the neighborhood.. looks just like any neighborhood in America (albeit denser and more traffic). Must be all that 'wokeness' in NYC. This has nothing to do with white or black or brown, of course. This dynamic plays out anywhere with people that are unwilling to challenge themselves and their ego just finding an easy scapegoat...

Immigrants aren't the problem. The problem is when they don't integrate or adopt local customs, when they form ghettos. That's not immigration, it's invasion. If you choose to live in another nation, out of respect and gratitude to the nation that welcomed you, you must integrate, be part of, assimilate—without losing your roots, of course, but adapting. I am from a country of immigrants (Argentina). My ancestors were Spanish (Galician/Catalan), Italian, German-Jewish, and Polish, and they all assimilated, adopting Spanish-language and Argentine customs without losing their roots.

You first went there as European colonizers you colonized India and half the world performed extreme brutalites for money and now you are having problem with immigrants. So, ironic and if you don’t like them so why you shield khalistani activist from Indian government.

The problem is not immigration, it is about why government giving visa when there is a job crisis for those who are already there? It is a cheating with the people who are paying huge money as a students and getting no exposure of jobs, it is not because of education that students are coming it is because of exposure of an International companies which they are hoping to get, students are adding money to the economy how can you blame the students who are coming legally??

I read the comments first before watching the video, and the negativity was strong. So I watched the video expecting to hear the Indians sounding terrible and entitled, and instead it's obvious they're just like every other group of immigrants who ever came before them, including those from Europe. The guy at 9:35 got lots of negative comments, but it's clear that he's the typical inspirational immigrant story, coming here, studying and working hard, and eventually achieving his degree, which brings him a better life in a prosperous country, the exact same thing Europeans came to Ellis Island for 100 years ago. And they also created Irish, Italian, Greek, etc. enclaves withing major cities. Also they say Brampton only had 18,000 people 50 years ago, and are upset that now it has 750,000, and all the growth has been from Indians. So then what's the problem? They didn't even displace anyone, they just moved to an area that was previously a small town on the outskirts of Toronto, and is now a major suburb. That growth of suburbs has happened over the last 50 years in every city in North America, from both domestic and immigrant people choosing to settle there. Did you expect a town that close to Toronto to experience zero growth over 50 years?!! While every other suburban area on the continent grows? If so, then you clearly aren't the brightest bulb.

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

The birth rate in Canada is 1.3 per couple. In 1961 it was 3.1 per couple. Coincidentally, this was the same time as the availability of the first birth control pill. It’s been on a downward trend ever since. Populations can’t sustain themselves. Most western countries have the same problem. So we immigrate, and the countries with the highest birth rates will eventually take over the countries with the lowest it’s a sad reality.

I feel that the problem is the Trudeau government and the NDP allowed to many immigrants into Canada without doing any background research on their status and now we have a huge influx of criminals from many countries. These people have no interest whatsoever in assimilating into our society, they are only interested in taking advantage of our country and generosity.

Indias work hard in every sector so people see them all the time and they think Indians are going to take over and they are real problem But real problems is Ukraine and refugees from everywhere who get free houses and live on welfare and even they get free dental.They are living on Canadian tax payer money. Immigrants don’t get any government help plus visa and other requirements are still there Internet is just home of negativity and full of misinformation.

The problem is not indian people. The problem isn’t immigration it’s how rapid the immigration was there should’ve been a cap so that there wasn’t a major influx of people that destroyed the culture if immigration was controlled and had a yearly limit to how many people could immigrate that would’ve preserved canadas culture and forced immigrants to assimilate to Canadian culture. But all politicians saw was 💰 so they made it easier.

To be honest the problem with Canada is that they are not having strict immigration checks like the USA which has in turn resulted in non-qualified people coming from India to name sake colleges over there . A lot of people just used to drive trucks or do odd jobs over here in India . I really think Canada's welcoming nature has been misused in the wrong way.

This is a Big Problem. But the problem was created by short sighted Canadian propaganda. They duped millions of vulnerable young people with false promises! People in Punjab were told by visiting, white Canadian politicians like Trudeau (who literally dressed up and danced all around India) that they are welcome in Canada and should sell whatever little they had in India and come here. They were poor and gullible and fell for it, and here we are! Canadian Government is FAR FAR stronger than any to-be immigrant group. Indian government pleaded with Canada to watch what kind of characters they were importing (google it)! And guess what Canada still voted for the Liberals! So who should shoulder the bulk of the blame?

1) Canadian politicians are running a Ponzi scheme - just keep bringing in more foreigners to pay for everybody else they already brought in 2) This immigration game was started after DeGaulle sparked Quebec separatism, and neither Ottawa nor Washington knew how to deal with this, other than to mass-import lots of foreigners in order to dilute the Anglo-French divide that was quickly turning toxic. Washington was not going to allow a new country to form on its northern frontier, potentially creating a new geopolitical fault line which could be exploited by the Soviet bloc. Therefore all the stops would be pulled out to rearrange the demographics of the suddenly fragile Canada. 3) This immigration game is just a human trafficking operation. Canada itself has been reduced to a human trafficking operation, originally to counter Quebec separatism, and then later the politicians just plain got addicted to importing new voters, rather than solving the problems of existing voters through good governance. 4) We're all up the creek without a paddle. Neither do I have any solutions to the current mess, nor do the people who made this video have any solutions. It's now like the weather - we can complain about it, but can't change it. Maybe Trump can solve it by breaking up Canada and turning pieces of it into new American states. I know - it's blasphemy - but... 5) *_I too am of Indian heritage,_* and have been a Canadian for over half a century.

I believe restricting easy line of credit or loans on cars or any other item to newcomers might solve this out of proportion immigration problem.

the problem with people that immigrate to foreign countries - they think they are being treated unfairly because they pay higher fees. Most of people that immigrate for study dont know that the domestics get charged lower because their fees are subsidized.

The biggest problem with multiculturalism I think. Its a softer melting pot. You get these grops of people that stick with their own culture. Speak the same, dress, act the same. They aren't integrating or very little. Your going to start seeing much more of the mulim population start now that HAMAS is here. Your already seeing protesting on a regular basis. Then eventually theyll keep pushing for sharia law. They've already tried several times in the GTA. It wont stop. Look at London and whats going on in Europe right now. The problem is they refuse to assimilate and embrace western culture or the culture of the country they immigrated too. This is what infuriates the citizens of the host country. We do not care if they have their traditions, we care that they try to make our country just like the one they left.

The problem is actually two problems, both are huge, both are ridiculous and both are either cause and or allowed by the federal government: 1. Cutting funding to higher education - this has been policy for the past 5 administrations and seems like a thing in common between the liberal idiots and the conservative idiots. This makes these institutes incentivized to use international students to subsidize Canadian education and their own expansions. 2. The government letting immigration go through such a process. It’s crazy that people who go through this system cannot be vetted more properly.

It's nothing against a certain group, these problems occur if you let in too many people from one place, it's called ghettoization. If too many Canadians moved to India, for example, they would form communities large enough that they don't really integrate. Immigration is fine, as Canadians it's always been our strength, but the jobs aren't keeping up. If the jobs become there, we need to mix up the countries, we can't have more Indians.

What baffles me is how easily the government and public colleges are shifting the blame and pretending to be like a deer in the headlight. $252 million, this is the surplus profit) that one just one Ontario public college had in 2024. There’s no typing error, friends, this is the number and anyone can verify it. The last I checked, these colleges are not operated or governed by immigrants, it’s us who are in charge. We are being mislead to believe that the problem lies elsewhere. Colleges made money, the feds, province , region every body made millions. Where were these auditors for 8 years. This mass influx began in 2018, so was the entire government and administration at all levels was napping.

The problem is, if the immigrants keep coming in, it would change canada so much that it ceases to be a liberal democratic country that values people's rights; it's easy enough for immigrants to "roll back" their beliefs to a previous version, if even one or two charismatic new immigrants start fomenting those beliefs. The very thing could undermine itself, so there should be tighter bordres. The people who've been there since 1979 don't have to leave.

The problem seems started with the liberal’s opening our borders to immigrants bringing in 400+ a year. No housing or jobs for them, so the government (liberals) gave them a free ride on the backs of Canadian taxpayers. Time to close the borders for at least 5yrs.

Intense Concentration of any one ethnic group in on area typically ends up becoming a problem. The birth rate in Canada is insufficient, immigration will always drive the country’s growth but it needs to be diluted with multiple ethnic groups. Nearly a million Indians in one small area will make the area just like India. Conestoga college has done the same thing to Kitchener.

I visited Brampton over New Year's 2018. I couldn't believe how huge the Indian community was at the time. The weather was extremely brutal, so we didn't go out much. Everywhere we did go was ALL Indian! I was visiting a friend's family. I remember asking him if there were any cultural conflicts between the immigrants and the Canadians. At the time, it didn't seem to be a problem. Evidently, a lot has changed since then!

Funny how everyone screams about immigrants and Indians ‘ruining Brampton,’ but no one bats an eye when billions of OUR tax dollars are shipped to Ukraine. We absolutely do have an immigration problem, I’d say time to turn the tap off, and get on the ones here about status, BUT we cannot allow what has been happening in the states, anyone with a brain can see what the USA has become these days (government wise) But a controlled program without liberals and conservatives talking it into the ground. Or going the human rights violations route. We would see a noticeable decrease in this very evident problem, and yes it’s problem. The immigrants are the ones responsible for the cost of living going because there government is giving them more then our government can give us to live off of and they can afford the higher cost of living. They come from problems from their home countries and come here to treat us how they treat each other in their home countries

My only problem with immigrants is that when you are in another country, you should conform to that country not try to make it a replica of your former country. Many don't even want to learn the language. Anyway from the video, the number of unemployed Canadians are not because of the Indians, they just don't want to work hard to earn a living, they want handouts. Most look like homeless druggies, don't blame others for what you did to yourself. If you are unhappy where you are, Canada is a big place go somewhere else and start over.

I can understand the immigration problem in your country. The problem I have is where people would use immigration as a cover for being racist. If you want to assimilate immigrants in your country, it would take a while. They will need time and patience. Likely their children will be more assimilated if they were young or born there. A lot of immigrants who are white in your country and your history likely took time for them to assimilate. But their children were likely already assimilated. Also, don’t blame the immigrants for the actions of your government. And yes, your country is changing and it happens all the time when you are nation founded by immigrants. For some of you who think the system isn’t working I get that. But for those who find it a problem when they are not white, just say it.

The quality of immigrants have decreased but blaming just the indians isn't right. Check other regions like Scarborough, lots of asylum seekers came in, who are muslims from middle east and africa, they are the real problem getting free money and stay from the government and working on cash. Legalizing Cannabis store promoted youngsters and adults alike to try drugs, why was the needed even ? Problem is not indians or immigrants in general, problem is government policies.

If old immigrants are seeing an issue of offsetting the harmony that's our multiculturalism, including old Canadians and original Native Canadians. By the mass immigration policies, bringing/favouring from one country. Then you know there's a problem. The end was great. But it lacked lto visualize what I've been saying for years : We leave the bad stuff behind. We share and teach others our cultural aspects. I worked hard to come here but Canadian colleges and universities just luring people with money rather than those with educated and professional quality is sick. The truth is the goverment is the problem. The Canadian citizens are not happy about the situation, and new immigrants realize Canada isn't as good as it is advertised in social media. Another example of the government creating very distinct, yet carefully designed division, so that both groups are busy fighting each other, while they sit on their luxurious homes mocking us.

After watching this video, and then reading the comments i think I know what the problem is, its RACISM, people just dont like seeing so many people of different color, ofcourse mass immigration will bring a lot of people, in this case it was Indians/pakistanis/bangladeshis, and its true out of so many immigrants some will choose wrong things to do(there are bad fishes in every pond), but isnt it true for everyone, even white people do the same shit, but the issue here which is concerning to everybody why a different race is here, the feel like its no more like canada used to be cuz brown people are here, but they forget white people also immigrated at one point of time to these lands. The rich have stolen everything and blame the “other”for our problems in order to divide us. They also use immigration to lower wages and dilute the labour pool. In many cases the immigrants have been lied to and sacrificed for this false opportunity. We all need to fight the big money monopolies that choke us all and make the desperation that leads to hate. As a Canadian I’ll point out that people are people, the Canadians I know don’t treat “Canada”well.

For those who are sying: "The problem isn't Indian people coming to Canada, its Indian people turning Canada into India", I have a question for you all? Q1: If you take Africans, East Asians, Middle eastern people, latin americans, maxicans, etc in huge numbers, wouldn't they turn your canada into Africa, East asia, middle east, latin america, maxico, etc? Q2: Your government took immigrants in huge number and only from India, whose fault is that?
