I know a lot of people are tired of JT. And they have their reasons. But as a Canadian, I have to say that he did a good job addressing this issue. He literally came across as a concerned Canadian citizen that doesn't want this trade war. He truly doesn't. Nobody does. I gotta give props to JT on this one. He may have made some mistakes, but he did a good job addressing these terrible tariffs.

What a friendly speech. He didn't even mention the fact that Donald Trump called the deal with Canada the best ever and so much better than NAFTA while he now calls it terrible. I feel for Americans, but you voted for the creep who is president right now. Sadly, you got what you wanted.

The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post. Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. In fact, it's the United States job to keep illegal drugs and immigrants out of the US and they are doing a poor job of it and need someone else to blame. The rest of Central and South America could do the same in support of Mexico. What I don't like is the millionaires that move our jobs out of our country to benefit themselves. My father lost a good manufacturing job because labor was cheaper in some other county. I was almost born in Canada but because of an thyroid illness they did not aprove my mom to come to Canada (late 50`s) So my dad and grandfather decided to stay in the Netherlands. I have a soft spot for Canada........ could have been my home country. Good luck to all of us against dictators and bullies in this world.
