But history proves that they were a great investment to America. So many became successful business people, they became second generation President to the USA like Andrew Jackson, Grover Cleveland, J. F Kennedy, R Regan, etc, and not to forget many Irish in Law enforcement, and the military. So stop thinking that these people are taxing your resources, they may do short term just to help them settle in, but in the long term they are asset's. These people will get employment, pay taxes, start businesses, employ people etc. Think of the glass half full and not half empty. In other Country, people rushing their borders would be shot. United States failures to enforce legal immigration laws and now here we are, the world has decided we owe it to them to live here. I hate to see Mexican Americans working in law enforcement to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country like legit if it was up to me I don’t have a problem with it but I can see why our country has issues with that due to the economy misbalance that can occur. At the same time those cops are just doing there jobs just like me and you. But who knows maybe they let one or two slip obviously not everyone.

Our country is in shambles yet the progressive democrats want to hand out another 31 trillion in US tax dollars to people who won’t pay a cent to our country, who don’t care if they topple america and won’t fight for their own country. Put troops on the border and physically enforce the border. It’s not fair that there’s Europeans and Asians and Arabs who have to wait to legally immigrate meanwhile South American countries pound our southern border with drugs, illegal prostitution of young women and children. What we need is to disband the Department of Homeland Security, and then to roll up the Border Patrol,Customs and Border Protection, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement with the United States Coast Guard into a new Armed Forces branch that I'd call the United States Border Guard, which would have military jurisdiction over the borders, the coastlines and the airports.

Over 300,000 homeless veterans wander the streets searching for food and shelter currently. Dying at an estimated rate of 22 a day due to self inflicted harm….the system in place to take care of them and provide comprehensive medical care is crippled and broken….every SINGLE ONE of these men and women has a head full of bad memories and experiences from defending their country in war (some missing limbs)….can’t hold a job and have trouble finding a job….NOONE is making substantial and reinforced efforts to care for these brave men and women. Yet, if you cross that border illegally you’re given shelter (free stay at 5star hotels in NYC sound nice)…comprehensive medical care…food stamps and even job placement for some. And in some cases, we’re providing that help to individuals who are simply making a pit stop between Mexico and Canada because it’s better for them there according to some. Frankly, we have enough issues that are swallowing us whole and need to focus on building up and caring for our own citizens and force stop mass migration, strongly enforce deportation as well as employing more case workers to help with legal immigration process. We spend all this money sending to Ukraine and yet here we are, cutting our own throats to save someone else’s hand. I have no issue with legal immigration and asylum but you need to go through the process like those before you. I know this is asking a lot but it IS possibly to make it work

Actions speak louder than words. \nTheir actions confirm they have no respect for rules/others who’ve been waiting before them in a legal manner, nor for law enforcement or our Country. All who’ve attempted or entered this way need permanently banned from citizenship and immediately deported. \n\nThey’ve displayed the opposite character we’d want here. This is not how my or other families immigrated to earn citizenship. Send them back and keep them on a permanently banned list for breaking our laws, make it clear no benefit of ever trying.

My journey to permanent citizenship took 5 long hard years of hard work, impeccable record of residency with no issues with any law or law enforcement, slogged through employment at the company who sponsored (much lesser pay). Citizenship took another 5 years of impeccable record. \nPaid taxes since day 1 to Uncle Sam.\n\nOne more thing … People born here have no housing, food or they live in projects.\n\nNow these people walk over the border in Mass and will get free everything. This is what occurs when you fail to secure your boarders and ensure you protect those boarder with robust enforcement. Would anyone allow free entry to their home to anyone? Heartbreaking . Canada was once the land of opportunity for refugee's and immigrants from all lands . Sikhs and Punjabi have been proud Canadians since the early 19'th century . I have a new career advice for everyone. Open an immigration consulting business in Canada. Use fraudulent means to give citizenships to rich foreign clients. Make 10 million dollars within couple of years. After you are caught by law enforcement, pay about 10% of the money you made. Server about 2 years time. Once you are out, you can live off luxuriously with the millions you made for the rest of your life.

Maybe if we (the western world) stopped creating so many inequalities worldwide... People wouldn't want to come here so badly. Maybe a little critical thinking and some compassion for others would go further than wasting tax payer dollars on walls and more boarder enforcement.
