Let’s get this clear - This is not about hurting Canada with Tariff. This is all part of Trump’s plan to create panic, confusion and frustration to the American people to make us weak so he can sell us to PUTIN. The tariff to Canada, Mexico and China; his immigration racist decisions to target Latinos; the way he and Vance attacked to president Zaleski and firing federal employes is just ALL Part of a plan to create confusion, so while we scratch our head, he allied with PUTIN.

I am from Alberta, Canada and would like to thank all the American people that have said that they stand with Canada. YOU CAN HELP. Call or write to your various levels of government and let them know that this is wrong and will hurt everyone in the US and Canada. The sooner that the US government realizes this is a no win situation, the better for all of us. Also, thank you to everyone around the world for your support. I support the USA. The tariffs will hurt Canada and Mexico far more than the USA. In 2023 - 76% of Canada's exports were shipped to the US. That is 19% of their total GDP. Mexico exported 78% of its exports to the US, which is 37% of its GDP. US exports to Canada & Mexico combined were only 2.7%. Both countries will need to find other buyers or capitulate. No wonder Trudeau is screaming like a stray dog hit by a rock.

So many of us Americans don't want this either. We're so frustrated and unhappy that our closest ally, Canada, is being treated this way. Thank you for recognizing it's the government and not the American people and that they're hurting us as well. ?

As an American im proud of trump standing up for us and no longer allowong us to get taken advantage of. Countries are mad that they have to pay more instead, of expecting us to pay for them. The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.
