As an Alaskan, I have a lot of relationships with my Canadian brethren to my south, both personal and business. While supply chain problems, housing crisis, poor wages, cost of living, and immigration, are all huge issues in Canada, but in my experience, by far, the absolute worst problem I have both witnessed and been a victim of, is the extreme level of crime. Especially organied crime. \n\nIn many rural areas the RCMP is literally run by organized crime, and it caused the justice system to resemble something you'd expect from a third world military dictatorship. I never hear western media discuss it, but the crime in Canada is probably some of the worst on the planet. I saw with my own eyes in New Brunswick for example, is completely controlled by organized crime. This has a very significant impact on the overall functionality of the system. \n\nIf you travel around the world, you will see just how aweful Canada is. I feel really bad for the people there.

Unfortunately, I know several skilled workers with MScs and PhDs in STEM fields (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or Computer Science) who came to Canada not only to pursue their degrees but also to contribute to the country’s scientific and economic development. Many of these individuals, including myself, end up leaving. \n \nSome leave because of systemic issues in the PR system, which often prioritizes candidates with limited skills or questionable credentials over highly qualified individuals who have lived, studied, and worked in Canada for 5+ years. Others leave due to the high cost of living, challenges in accessing healthcare, or instability in the job market. \n \nThroughout my time in Canada, I’ve met genuinely kind and hardworking Canadians who are understandably frustrated with the current state of affairs. The policies implemented by this government have created significant challenges that may take years to resolve. Unfortunately, this risks leaving Canada with a workforce ill-equipped to meet future demands, while losing both talented Canadians and highly skilled immigrants who could have been integral to the country’s progress.

I’m glad… I’m from India… ok now there’s already so many scammers living inside Canada with PR and citizenship what about them…. My neighbour went to Canada in PR registering fake company… n getting fake experience certificates… there r so many Indian ppl who r loyal n trustworthy but u close doors for them… through company ppl come there with no efforts they claim 50 points n get score over 500… what about the students who really worked hard n been loyal n honest…. Ur immigration doesn’t make sense at all….

I just see many illegal immigrants wanting to live in the US but not be part of it like learning the language and american customs. That makes me feel that my sympathy is being taken advantage of.

I am Latino and live in Australia legally, but unfortunately much of my family was pressured out of Mexico due to cartels and gang wars forcing them to cross the border. Altough many got their green cards, some are considered illegal immigrants yet have done nothing wrong. The lack of empathy in this world in concerning...

Trump will fail at this endeavor like he failed at all his businesses. Supporting him is like letting your dog drive you to the airport. It is impossible to round up that many people in the time he has allotted. He won’t do it, and you suckers will still blame Biden. Everyone likes to blame immigrants for what is going on in society. I am poor. Must be the landscaper’s fault. I still living with my parents. Must be that Mexican’s fault. Wake up!\n\nWatch a few sobering realistic videos by Richard Wolff and perhaps you might realize that illegal immigrants are the least of our problems.

The key to addressing these issues isn’t for the government to simply 'deport' illegals; it’s to make life in the host country so dependent on legal status that it becomes nearly impossible for an illegal immigrant to prosper or live a normal life. What we see now is the opposite—some states don’t even require proof of legal residency to issue a driver’s license. When services like healthcare, education, and more are offered without any checks, why would anyone bother complying? A parallel society forms, where people learn to bypass hurdles with the help of others already entrenched in the system. The same applies to sending money back to their home countries.\n\nIf you impose harsh penalties—not just fines—on those who hire illegals, you’ll deter locals from exploiting their cheap labor. This would naturally lead to many illegals 'deporting' themselves in search of countries where they can blend in more easily. Furthermore, there’s a 'support system' that guides illegals on how to navigate life in the U.S. as undocumented residents, which should also be addressed. But instead, Democrats often seem to do everything possible to favor their presence, especially in certain cities.

To all those supporting the cracking down on these ‘illegals’ there’s something I need to know. Tell me, if they folks had an option to immigrate legally, would they? Do you think it’s some kind of malicious effort to come here against the law, or are they coming here out of desperation? Many of these people come from places like Haiti, Colombia, or Guatemala. Places that the CIA and American tax dollars destroyed. Illegal immigration wouldn’t be a problem if we didn’t make the situations of many of our southern neighbors unlivable.\n\nI’m a Floridian white dude who was comparatively born with the silver spoon in my mouth, I understand America is at a point economically where the last thing we need is to be spending money on non citizens, sending billions in foreign aid abroad or on undocumented immigrants. But I also think we need to take some level of accountability for why this is even an issue. I speak Spanish as a second language, and ever since I got to communicate with many of these ‘illegals’ and got to hear from an older Guatemalan gentlemen of his time living through the American backed “Silent Holocaust” my opinion has change completely.

Half of the people living in the country illegally are not being extradited back to their counties because their country will NOT take them back, these people are from China, Russia, India, (and others). There are also many who seek political asylum. The vast majority of this people entered the county legally , applied for residency , were denied but stayed in the country because the government couldn’t send them back to theirs. Contrary to the belief most immigrants aren’t coming from Mexico but from Guatemala, El Salvador and Venezuela.

The land in the region belongs to the Hebrews, that is true, but who are the Hebrews? A war that didn't start for nothing or out of nowhere or for no reason and the Jews are still waiting to have their families back in October 2023\nmainly that Israel is a region that does not exactly represent what the House of Judah is at the moment, it is not a land for the Jews, but rather a land named after one of the sons of Isaac, but like any other country it is giving rights in the region so that they are children who are born there or immigrate to the region, but it is not necessary for them to be Abrahamic. The State of Israel is just one part of the land promised to the dynasty of Isaac, the creation of a State is a great start to remind us of the importance of remembering that God promised the descendants of Sarah and Abraham a land between two rivers. Come to Surrey BC! I've lived here all my life, and live about 7km's from the house I was brought home as a baby, so I've never left this city, and I, like that gentleman and lady you talked to, often feel like I am the only Caucasian in Surrey! Go by any elementary school, and you'd find it difficult to see any hair colour than straight black! Like when I went to school, so many now are driven to school by parents or grandparents that where brought over to Canada as well, so traffic around schools very often is chaotic at best! The once peaceful sound of birds singing, is now taken up with sirens, from ambulance and fire trucks, it's hideous! I too would love to move, but we keep asking, 'where'...as we'd like to be in an area with just caucasians, to feel 'at home' again! It's not that I don't like the people, but most in Surrey, are much more well off than the average Canadian, driving high end cars, and even their teenage kids have high end vehicles. So, like many Canadians, I'd just like to see normalcy & common sense once again, and a complete end to immigration, until ALL of our crisis's are taken care of!

The fact that we have so many people in the US undocumented and living here for decades tells us that our legal process is not sufficient for allowing people to come legally. Having that many people tells us we need to treat this as a policy problem, not an individual-making-bad-choices problem. And spending billions of dollars on border patrol tactics that still allow for so many illegap immigrants tell us that our resources are grossly misspent. Plus we treat legal asylum seekers as if they were illegal (depriving people of food, keeping them from crossing in the first place) so people will choose whatever method will get them here. People can be here legally for well over a decade before getting a green card and then even longer to get citizenship.

The realities of allowing hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrant s and too many legitimant refugees into our country is devestating ! both to the citizens and to the refgees ... stretching our social services very very thin ..... up to 13 hours waiting in our ERs in my city ... i am not a professional reasercher on statistcs but i have a brain and sense enough to see the consequences of this portion of a hidden Trudeau agenda .... and that is desperation ... comming from ...food and shelter insecurities and discrimination against those of us who are citizens living on inadequate disability income ... most of us paid into these programs when we were working in good health .... i dont know what kind of dark ... delusional spell our federal ministers are under but this kind of melevolent disregard for those of us who are the most vulnerable in this country ...arent without courage to speak against the narcisim of this diabolical goverment ... The truth is American people already made their division so democrats need to listen to them instead of lecturing them. Our society needs immigrant but our society resource is limited, we can’t accommodate every illegal immigrate without hurting our own communities, especially when so many American citizens are struggling for affordable house and increasing living cost and so many legal immigrants are waiting in the queue many years waiting the government to process their case.

The problem with many countries is that immigration cannot simply be used as a fix for economic issues. Behind immigration are living, breathing people, not objects to solve problems temporarily. When economies are struggling, these individuals are invited to help rebuild and strengthen the system, often sacrificing a great deal to do so. However, once the situation improves, expecting them to leave behind everything they’ve built and return is unfair. They left their homes, worked hard, and contributed significantly — they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, not as disposable solutions.

Deporting undocumented immigrants will cause many small businesses to struggle. Who will do the work that most people don’t want to do—like agricultural jobs, dishwashing, and lawn care? Undocumented immigrants contribute more to this country than many realize, and they also pay taxes through their purchases. Food prices will rise if we deport them because most Americans won’t take these jobs for low wages. If Americans take on these roles, they are likely to demand higher pay, which would increase costs across the board. In the end, we would be hurting ourselves and our finances. It’s already challenging enough, with many Americans living paycheck to paycheck. I believe that a mass deportation of undocumented immigrants would be a serious mistake.

This is bs. There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. What about the dreamers? They should be exempt from deportation. They speak English, they've assimilated into American culture, they own businesses and most importantly, being deported back to Mexico is technically being deported to a foreign country they have never lived in.

If this is not controlled, as in, not allowing them in because we have no room, it's because Trudeau wants it to happen. The ones here already get more money a month in assistance than a Canadian who has paid taxes all their lives... and that right there should make you livid with the Liberals... how many homeless immigrants do we see in the thousands of encampments in Canada ??? If they come in Roxham Rd. put a legit facility there to turn them away instead of RCMP carrying their belongings into Canada..... SORRY >>>> NO VACANCIES

I am sick to death of media cherry picking facts they want to share. Oh poor immigrants. I am sorry, if this harsh but America can't fix the world and we aren't responsible for those from other countries. It really annoys me that all we hear is poor immigrants and immigrants rights. Sice Biden has taken office the housing crisis has gotten out of the control. Why? Simple math, you move in billions of people, equal population what you already have, but can't increase housing, they have to go somewhere. With the government helping migraints, more is going to them than our own. What is happening is they are pushing out people in migraint held cities and displacing existing residents. So those disbled , elderly, veterans and drug addicted people who are being displaced are being forced to smaller communities that don't have the infrastructure in place to cope with so many displaced people. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. Far as I am concerned you need to be shut down, because you are enemy of the US.

What they should do is hit pause on immigration. I believe they should grandfather in those who arrived prior to a specified year.\n\nI’m sure the majority is ok with immigration. JUST DO IT LEGALLY and for the gov to stop over extending our taxes and money. \n\nAmerica should come first. Americans have been put on the back burner while illegal immigrants get way more help which in turn hurts the very people who were born and raised here. We got people and children starving in this very country yet have a helping hand for those who don’t live here, came illegally or even like us. \n\nSo put the pause on and help Americans then help others. Other countries have stricter policies than we do and they’re thriving. and I believe don’t have as many issues as we do. \n\nAmerica leaders need to look into how other successful countries are running things and see how they can implement or improve on those.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.

That old lady is absolutely and outright lying. First off, she stood in lines for hour or days to get her green card? That means she came at a time when immigration was much easier and wanted, to increase gdp and to do the jobs normal Americans didn’t want to. Now, immigration takes forever, many years in fact, because the older republican white generation figured out that they yet again the minority, which has never actually changed. But republicans now use the immigration card because it’s literally their only option, why do you think Trump stopped the bill. He would be losing so much support. Also, for that old Mexican lady to say those things about her own family, tells me, she is not someone who cares for others or may even care at all. She became a racist just like the republicans and her family should be ashamed of her. Lastly, different times of immigration, this time around, those leaving other countries are trying to save their families lives, having to deal with authoritarian dictators, drug cartels and corrupt governments. She may have had some of that, but I doubt it, she just wanted to move here and make a better life for herself, screw her loved ones. She is an abomination and one of the reasons this country has lost itself, if a Mexican immigrant cannot feel sympathy or empathy for those people in a very similar situation than that person has truly been corrupted by the republicans “all about me” mantra.

This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

I am an immigrant who came here 20 years ago i believe it worked out well when we had 200-250k immigrant target per year and reduced when theres economic crisis below 100k for only critically short industries. I highly recommend to restrict immigration to avoid housing shortage first because theres nothing worse than Canadians living in tent even if many of them worked and tried.... - as an immigrant i supprt Canadian first direction to honor this great country

I live in the United States and I’ve met lots of Canadians who visited the US have come down to live here\n\nI have to admit I’ve only been to Canada twice in my life\n\nI have immigrant family, who lives in Canada and my European Background mothers family came from Montreal to the US over hundred years ago\n\nNeedless to say, I’m familiar with Canadians that I meet here in the US\n\nI am aware that many Canadians superficially to Americans look like Americans, but aren’t and I know from Canadians that they find the lifestyle in parts of the United States, a little bit too intense and experience and expectation\n\nWhat you will find if you look at Canada’s past, history is a trail of Canadians. Who’ve had to come down to the US for employment opportunities as Canada has time not being able to provide the opportunity and sustenance for their population.\n\nI would have to say that perhaps maybe prior to the 2010’s Canada was doing very well and providing quality life for their population and their citizens and the residence\n\nWhat you find out personally is that is being mismanaged when it comes to immigration capital investment in industries And worst of all, not being able to ride housing in a place where exposure to the elements could be certain death for some people\n\nThere user based national health system seems to be freeing and not being able to provide the services that they once provided, which is also something that’s really troubling\n\nAnd now I hear that they have problems providing food at an affordable amount\n\nI wish you well and fighting a place that gives you better comfort and opportunities to grow and affordable lifestyle\n\nI can’t say in the United States you’re gonna find better you’ll find certain cost of living items a lot more affordable, but we do not have a safety net when it comes to healthcare

I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I ended up in the hosopital and there was an investigation opened. The police asked me why they attacted me, which I didn't know since it was unprovoked. They just followed me for awhile, surrounded me and started beating me. The police said it was probably because I'm Asian. Meanwhile, I'm not even Asian!!! I'm Latino. ??‍♂This is the type of ignorance POC have to deal with in Germany. Also, I only have 1 German friend and all my other friends are immigrants (which I love) but this poses it's own frustrations because many people move here, then move away after a few years when they learn they can have a more fulfilling life elsewhere. So keeping long term day-to-day friends can be a challenge. The entire system is exhausting and there's not enough balance to bring joy to my life to want to stay. When I lived in NYC, an African American aquaintance had just moved there after living in Berlin for 8 years. She warned me not to move here because I will never feel I belong. I didn't listen. That was a big mistake. Germans can have Germany. I'll find my joy elsewhere. End of rant. haha

What’s messed up is that she’s right, but wrong at the same time. She got lucky to only have to wait in line for days. What reason does she thinks her cousins, nieces, and nephews came here illegally for? It’s easier to seek asylum and work from there than to get a travel visa and apply and then just hope you don’t get deported or rejected. \n\nIt’s very telling when a yankee is interviewed and holds these sentiments- what kind of life they have lived. It isn’t out of the realm of imagination what situations many immigrants are coming from. Best case scenario they just lived paycheck to paycheck in an impoverished area. At least now they can live in an impoverished area where the government is only like 70% corrupt instead of 95% corrupt.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out. You are good neighbours, good people, you are welcome here and have helped build Canada in so many positive ways. ?

I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. It is unfair to the individuals who are relocating to Canada under the current circumstances. Recognizing the issues with our nation's trajectory does not require one to hold racist views. If Canadians genuinely cared about all people, they would seek to prevent the misleading promises made by the Liberal and NDP governments. Many immigrants were promised a prosperous country but have instead encountered challenges such as a housing crisis, rising cost of living, opioid addiction and homelessness issues, inflation, healthcare strains, high unemployment, high taxes, and a declining standard of living. \n \nNotably, Canada is technically in a recession, and without the influx of money brought in by immigrants, the country's economic struggles would be more apparent. The economy appears healthier on paper due to foreign investment and spending, but underlying issues persist. While immigration has significantly impacted Canada in multiple ways, the responsibility lies not with the immigrants who were overpromised, but with the Liberal and NDP governments that have underdelivered. I appreciate your balanced view of the complicated situation. I have met so many Indians who contribute everyday to making Canada an even better place to live. So thank you. I too blame the government for ignoring the social consequences of such a large influx of immigration in too short of a time. But mostly who I blame are the brokers who are scamming hard working and hopeful young people to come over to Canada and are ripping off them and their families. That's very interesting. I've lived in South Korea for the past 35 years and, in many ways, have enjoyed a privileged life here. After the COVID outbreak, II quit my job and traveled all around the world, including 1yr staying in Toronto. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. Ironically, I’m about to move to the very place you're leaving.???I admire your courage in embracing this new challenge and hope you find a place you'll truly love. The surging housing price, cost of living, homelessness, social unrest, and immigration concerns are global issues, particularly in so-called developed countries. Ummmm - this is just a wild guess, but maybe there are too many immigrants? Everybody wants to live in the west. Why don't they fix their own countries?

I am a Chinese who has lived in Canada for 20 years, and now the streets are full of Indians. I feel New Delhi. When Chinese are no longer the largest immigrant group in Canada, the social environment in Canada is getting worse and worse, especially the public security is worrying. The basic jobs of local whites have been robbed by Indians, and there are too many homeless people with abnormal mental health who take drugs.

Instead of addressing the main issues which were housing crisis, cost of living rise and shortage of jobs, I am not sure why these people are so derailed and blaming people who are legally here. If the government could not provide for housing and jobs why did they invite so many international students and immigrants. If CANADA is so tired of immigration why are still people with no skills at all are being accepted as refugees. Please ? don’t spread hate.

I would respectfully point out that in my opinion the problem is that too many immigrants from one particular culture (in this case, Indians, but it's also the Chinese,) have been allowed in to settle almost entirely in one particular area of a city. In Ontario it's Brampton. In B.C. (where I live) it's Surrey. This stretches Canada's resources, having classrooms almost full of Indian kids who are learning English as a second language. For years we've had to put up with young Indian males street racing in their expensive cars on our cities late at night... to their mothers they are 'princes,' and they act like it and believe they can do exactly as they like. Then there's the issue of how many of their extended family members are also allowed in - resulting in way too many elderly Indians who don't speak a word of English and probably never will, so we have to provide translation services for them in our hospitals and govt. offices. The other issue I have a problem with is there's a tendency with Indians to 'skirt the rules.' There have been a few significant accidents on our highways caused by young Indian male drivers operating huge rigs which they are ill-equipped to drive, which seems to indicate they got their licences fraudulently. There's also been an increase in so-called 'honour killings' (e.g. MURDER!) as well as young girls being subjected to FGM (Female Genital Mutilation.) As an immigrant myself, born and raised in the UK, I'm used to living among Indians, and in fact have always really liked them (and especially their food, which definitely improved the British restaurant scene!) but it's time to limit the numbers. Most colleges closed down and many graduates who were here, as far back as the 80's were asked to vacate college properties. ... Many were asked to go back to their home countries and for many they didn't even know anything about their home countries. As graduate students and Professor assistants - working on research programs - have lived in the United States most of their lives. ... The demand for highly educated immigrants has caused a paper blog. ... The demand for immigration visas to work or get into the universe's research has skyrocketed. ... So much the waiting list can be from 5 years to 60 years - depending on the country of origin. ... Many immigrants believe coming from Canada with a Canadian visa is the short cut ( they are being coached to this idea ) because universes and private research groups need their talents... ( We have noticed that many immigrants are paying College Degree Mills for fake made up degrees and college credit records ) ... If that's the case we can do the same for American kids with a High school degree ... But individuals tied up with the Colleges and private research groups would lose all that money they have invested in luxury condos that they rent out to all those immigrants. ... I would love to design and build luxury high rise condos around colleges and universities and get filthy rich renting out to immigrants. ... Many who got rich backers from their home countries. ... And that includes student spies coming from communist countries and or communist allies. ... Don't forget my finders fee ... That I use to educate red-blooded American kids as well as promoting them to get involved face-to-face with the Civil Air Patrol and or United States Coast Guard Axcellery.

So as an indian living in canada as an international student right now i would like to answer the few questions here which i guess the people in video aren’t able to so your 1 st question was that why would anyone like to come in this stolen land if there is lot of racism and injustice so as an i answer i would say the racism which you can see in comment section of this video itself about “deporting” is adressed in similar scenarios i have seen as yoi see the comment section there are very annoying comments such as “imagine the smell” so i would like to say that not everyone came here are workers in tim hartons and gas stations indians are also at the highest post in corporate sectors and indeed in restaurant businesses so to identify all of the indians same as many other is inappropriate , the people with no skillset and proper planning should be deported because no country needs labours or people without any kind of skill .the main demand of people protesting is to give them a chance as the people who came as international students have many debts to pay but neglecting that fact immigration control is responsibility of government not the immigrants .so at last i would say every problem has a solution don’t stick to the problem find the solution

There is a reason for this, even though I think doors should be open to anyone that wants to become canadians.\nThe reason being there is not enough housing. And that is throughout Canada. There is a lack even for people who already live here.\nThey took too many immigrants compare to many other countries. But the provinces did not put money on housing for many years. The same with schools and not enough teachers.

They must leave. They are adding to our housing problem. \nThere's no jobs for our own youth. Between these students and the temporary foreign workers and the illegal immigrants, Canada's social programs are bursting at the seams. Some of them have no shame in using our food banks and bragging about it online. They are supposed to be living independently. Of course, I wouldn't care either if I was from India. \nThey have to go. There's waaay to many of them.
