I keep waiting for people to grasp what Trump is actually doing, but everybody keeps following the bouncing ball.\n\nTrump only cares about getting richer and getting away with it. \n\nFacts: Dismantle government agencies who can oppose his crimes\n\nFire employees who can stop him from his crimes\n\nMisdirecting to continue his crimes.\n\nDistancing the U.S. from NATO Allie’s and siding with China, North Korea, and Russia.\n\nTariffs to tank the stock market, making predictable decline in stocks for massive profit from buying PUT options.\n\nWanting to remove any oversight in his or Elon’s (his tech genius) actions.\n\nHe literally stated he wanted to “look at Fort Knox to account for any gold missing. (He will fire those in charge to allow whoever to go in WITHOUT oversight to steal gold. Then state yep, there was missing gold, go see for yourself.\n\nHe already had Elon dipping into our treasury.\n\nHe got rid of the employees / agencies that oversee election security. Why? To keep eyes off of screwing people out of fair and equal future elections. Guarantee he will change the constitution with his majority party and executive order to throw out 2 term rule. This way he can stay in power and avoid ever facing sentencing for his crimes.\n\nI can keep going on, bottom line, Trump is a traitor to America and what do we do with those who commit treason? I'm watching Trudeau deliver a fiery speech, addressing Trump directly. He called out policies and actions that have strained Canada-U.S. relations, emphasizing the consequences for both countries and the urgent need for respect and cooperation moving forward. I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.

I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? I am a Canadian in Alberta and the reality is that the Liberals have weakened the Canadian economy and our standing in the world. Their decision to cripple our oil and gas industry and our lack of ability export our products elsewhere in the world is an issue created by the policies of the Liberals. To impose a carbon tax and further weaker the average Canadian is terrible. There are some policies I don't like out of the U.S. but the reality is that it is never an idea to pick a fight with the toughest kid on the block knowing you will lose. Trump doesn't even want the tariffs he wants Canada to pull it's weight in defense spending and cooperation. Trudeau backstabbed Trump in the past and that won't be forgotten. We need a new government with a leader that understands more than being a drama teacher and snowboarder. Unfortunately, most of the significant issues Canada faces is the result of self inflicted wounds resulting from incompetent leadership. We didn't have anywhere close this level of issues with the Harper government. We are lucky to have the U.S. as a neighbor so let's do what is good for both nations but there is no way the woke Liberal's can do it.
