You Will Not find Germany as Home Ever . I am Living since 18 Years here & i never felt Home ! Also I am a so-called Skilled Worker. I finished my studies in Germany and speak above B2 German but most of my life i am Struggling for a Job , Why ? You should try it your self then you know Why ;), Speaking B2 German is not enough for native Germans. When you come into contact with them, they always want someone to speak at their level. Actually, I find myself in a TOXIC Society everyday where everyone wants you to leave. If you are a foreigner and come to Germany for work, you will get a job along with a 42% Tax and higher rent for accommodation. Racism and discrimination are prevalent in everyday life, such as being followed with eye contact by angry, uneducated Germans! \nIf You don't Believe Try it Your Self ;)

I can't believe all the nonsense that was said on this video! Of course you have to learn the language, if you want to work in Germany!!! Has any of you tried to immigrate to Canada or the US? Nobody is going to give you a job, unless you can communicate in the local language! That is the same all over the world! European union countries have all got good social services and health systems. You want to benefit from the system? Then you of course have to be able to communicate! \nThe process is the same everywhere you go. The first generation of immigrants fight to learn the language and integrate, BUT their kids will get that for free and be integrated through the school system.

I would like to remind people in my opinion. It's not immigrants fault its fault of government for telling them they can get work and support. Apparently, 40 percent are trying to get back home and leave canada because they cant get jobs either.

Some have tried to enter Japan, but could not get in. They didn’t have employment, no funds, no home in to live in Japan. And Japan has a large elderly population. So they have rightly said sorry we can’t take them on. We have an elderly population to look after. The Japanese have said if they can speak basic Japanese, have money to support themselves, a job that is permanent and permanent residence you are allowed to enter. \n You can’t really claim asylum. As you are sent straight to a centre and then deported. I look at Europe and I feel so sorry for them.

Yeah I'm sorry to tell you this is not going to change anything. Anything that's being said is not going to change. They're here and they're going to keep coming until the government changes. I'm an immigrant to Canada. I've been here for 35 years (came here when I was 6). The current immigration/migration/ayslum seeker rates have gone completely insane. It isn't racist to think it's gone overboard. I went to very very multicultural schools. I grew up in Toronto and have lived downtown for 20 years now. I love our multiculturalism but there are limits to immigration if there simply isn't an infrastructure to support countless hundreds of thousands of people trying to move into the city each year. It's not sustainable at all. The roads aren't getting bigger, the housing zoning isn't getting easier, new hospitals aren't being built. You cannot try and cram 4 million people in a city built for like 2 million people. People moving to Canada simply do not realize just how absurdly expensive this place has become. What's the better alternative being poor in India or being poor in Canada? Because unless you are making 100k a year you are going to basically be poor in Toronto.\n\nThe big big difference as someone who has lived downtown Toronto for 20 years is now the homeless are very multicultural. 10 years ago it wasn't like that as much. Now people from every race and every background are at risk of homelessness. It's a rate race, it's a very competitive city for housing and jobs and as soon as you aren't in making $$$$$ you will fall behind.

I agree with the anti immigration. They should have made more robots rather than trying to replace Canadian workers. These people don't even have to speak English, but we apparently have to learn Punjabi or something else to get normal jobs. This is ridiculous, especially with the minor fringe french minority trying to force french language on people for the remaining jobs. This country is Canadian, which means we speak ENGLISH.

Trudeau cancelled the VISA requirements for Mexican travelling to Canada. It was recently changed back. Trudeau has over 1.2 million new arrives per year. We have an extreme housing shortage and so much tax. Those that arrive find it so expensive and lack of job opportunities and end up trying to get into the US also. Canada has become a prime place for crime money washing.

There are now quite a few news stories in Canada of immigrants leaving the country - some back home and others to the USA and other places. Many just get a Canadian passport and then leave. There are public health care and pensions, so it can be an asset and also a convenient travel document to have. A lot of Canadian university graduates have a very hard time finding work in their fields and a lot of them look to the US for a better future. Both immigration and unemployment in Canada are much higher that in the US - so more people are chasing fewer jobs that often pay less and are taxed more than in the USA. Opportunities are generally a lot fewer in Canada than the US, and the business environment is not as favourable, and taxes significantly higher. You would be getting some of the entrepreneurs from Canada moving to the US for more favourable conditions as well to launch a business and also now a lot more rich investor types, so-called high net worth individuals wanting to relocate, because they just raised the capital gains tax in Canada. Capital gains is also triggered on inheritance in Canada with a deemed sale of property and assets, so rich people would prefer the American system and want to be residents there for tax purposes and have their assets grow in value in the US compared to Canada. There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. About 1/4 of the population of Canada has been added in the past few decades. Add to that visitors and temporary visas - that is a lot of people potentially moving to the US. Before the 1990s Canadians visiting the US were not required to have a passport and a drivers' license or birth certificate was adequate. Now a passport is required. It is impossible to effectively control the long Canada-US border, so there could be some unified policies in that area agreed on between Canada and the USA on immigration and refugees. Canada currently has a very open immigration policy with the government actively seeking out more immigration beyond its current processing capacity and trying to take rejected immigrants from other countries. The Canadian government, especially in recent years under Trudeau is immigration hungry. It might be the only country in the world doing that. What some news reports are now saying is that some immigrants are actually leaving, since they find it so difficult in Canada and some are worse off than they were in the countries they came from, which were considered to be less developed than Canada. \nWashington currently has more immigration controls and administrative competencies than Ottawa, so US pressure and influence is a faster way to get reforms into the system than waiting for local politicians to do anything, which is unlikely. Canada is seen by some as a backdoor into the US. Biden's immigration policies could be seen as very conservative in Canada compared to Trudeau's. It used to be in the news about how refugees were trying to get to Canada and walking across the border in Quebec and out west from the US earlier, but now there are more news stories of immigrants leaving Canada trying to go the other way, probably due to high costs and unemployment because the government took in more people than it could absorb into the economy. They have the idea that immigration drives GDP growth so that they can borrow and spend more, expand the civil service, etc. without making any cutbacks or efficiencies, supposedly without the Debt to GDP ratio getting worse, just by bringing in more people as if that would drive the economy. A lot depends on who you bring in as well. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. Trudeau has been expanding various social programs as well, so higher taxes and debt are likely with that approach. Then more productive people and companies will want to leave Canada and go to the US. Probably the government does not know what the actual numbers and costs are and doesn't actively keep track of that information beyond what is required. Probably nobody knows what the true immigration figures and their associated costs are in Canada, and hardly anyone has even studied those issues. If they can just walk across the US border and get papers so easily making an asylum claim, it is not surprising, since it would take them longer to get a regular visa and work permit if they did it legally. You could call that a loophole in the US immigration system which is being exploited. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few. \nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. Canada is also going through a period of critical self-examination and deconstruction-revisionism. A lot of what had been viewed as positive from its history now is seen more critically, with re-naming and removing historical figures now seen as negative.\nDiscussing immigration policy critically is considered by many to be taboo in Canada, unless a person is saying good things about it in general. You can hear people say that the government isn't processing enough people, for example, but not often that there are too many or that it costs a lot of money. The trend of migration from Canada to the US would only increase much more in the future as it is going currently, and its role as a stepping stone to migration to the US could increase. The way this would be seen by many in Canada is that they are losing valuable people to the USA whom they consider assets, since a lot of officials have been trying to bring in more people into the country, but not everyone wants to stay in Canada nowadays because of a lack of jobs and opportunities. Canada is quite laissez-faire about migration, with Toronto being a sanctuary city as well.

Old mother India has out spawned its own pond..Its country CANNOT and DOES not offer a future to its people. Thats a failure by any normal standards. What gets me is, just how many millions have just arrived in other countries in the world. Their numbers and communities exported and imported so solidly everywhere. Within 2 years here in the uk, I am sure there are now, somehow more Indians here than ALL the other groups put together. Its astounding to see the indigenous and others be outnumbered by one group (south Asian continentals) in such s sudden and impactful way. With these movements Politics change, voter types, the , the shared future vision, shared cultural norms, etc resources like public transport trains, rosd traffic, shops, hospitals, public spaces are jam packed overall. No more quiet or isolated spaces, just 24hr pushing, shoving, shouting, mobile phone worship and loud speaker, conference video calling (my God this one grates my soul) destroys the respectful unspoken social and shared rule of EVERYONE else somehow, its insane! The place has no time or space to think. Blink and your place has gone. In every sense: social opportunities, place in queues job opportunities(as they set up internal networks that u are excluded from) aka as smugglers and their smuggled, housing bidding, corrupting of housing laws, benefit fraud all massive problems for local authorities and larger government overall. It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

What is the root cause of the divide in the living conditions between Indian newcomers and Canadian born people? Indians rarely get into bad habits like alcohol or drug abuse. Indians can work hard to improve their skillset to cater to the demand of the economy. Maybe born Canadians have taken the system for granted and become entitled, and don't want to put in the hard work to adapt to the changing economy or job needs. Maybe all they do is complain. It is just over priced now. in the 90s in SC it was so GOOD. \n\nMy only hard disagreement is our politics. Our politics are boring I agree but that is because classically in Canada, our politicians stick to the issues. We try not to make our politics a spectical like Pro Wrestling. Frankly, Canada is freer & more democratic. I'm no Trudeau fan but his government got their shit together for Covid and have really done an amazing job on the economic recovery. Where the so calll Conservatives are cozying up to some very extreme groups that talk a lot of herritage shit while crying about immigration. Like people who truly studied in University and tried contributing to Canada economy get all the blame together with these insane people. It is SO UNFAIR for us who graduated and started from scratch here, they do not have a high demand professional job, they want to make easy money, and stay in Canada to take away benefits government of Canada. BUT it seems this government doesn’t prioritize Canadian or students who studied and have proper job ?. Great country.

What's one of the main reasons why a foreign country would invite foreign workers into their country to work?? Because there are native citizens of that particular nation that don't want to work, they are lazy.. I understand the issue about overpopulation, but on the other hand, the opportunities have always been there for the natives to take advantage of, but did they?? So the government had to come up with a system to fill those vacancies, and in some cases, another reason why natives can't get a job, is because they are not qualified.. I think if an immigrant should be there with the aim to create a better life, I'm sure it can be achieved with hardwork and sacrifices, because a lot of us want to live above our means/ budget, spending more than we earn, instead of saving towards accomplishing a specific goal.. And i think a lot of people go with this false belief that that particular country is paradise, so they think as they land, their lives would be changed instantly, not knowing that they have to work very hard and make sacrifices to achieve their goals, and that's the main issue, they go without having any aims or goals, they go with the wrong mindset and attitude, and the list goes on.. And these students that are protesting, they should be trying to make a difference in the country to demonstrate to the government and the natives there that they are worthy to be a part of the nation, because they are not taking from it, but rather adding more values to it.. I think it all depends on the mindset.. And of course, i do agree that an immigrant should assimilate..

i rent a room. multi-people per room isn't preying on people, it's giving them a chance at not being bloody homeless. It's so damn expensive, and it's not going to change, this has become the only solution that isn't CRAWLING with bureaucratic red tape, And it sucks. Waiting for the other 2 roomates to finish bathroom routines in our shared bathroom... It SUCKS, and that's 3 people sharing 2 rooms, I can only imagine multiple to a room, but I DARE you to try to afford to live in toronto or vancouver while juggling student loans, while you still can't get a ruddy job in the industry you went to school for because it became saturated with laid-off senior staff.

It's a myth that Canada needs massive immigration, especially when Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for everyone. The average Canadians aren't benefiting from immigration, only the corporations, fake colleges and immigration consultants are. It's disgusting the politicians are using desperate immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers for votes.\nThe future are robots and AI for most labour and manufacturing jobs. For example: Even the trucking industry will become self driving.\nIf the federal government stop taxing Canadians too death, and married couples will more children. Old stock Canadians really need to get back to raising children that value traditional families and not chase after careers and money. Put Canadian families first. For those who still think Canada is a huge country and we need massive immigration to keep the economy going. Go ahead lobby the federal government to bring in 10 million migrants from Pakistan and Afghanistan and put 2 million foreigners in each of the 10 provinces, right now. Then don't be shocked when civil war happens. Enough is enough. Canadians need to be like Denmark and Netherlands, who are saying no to massive immigration! Remember refugees and asylum seekers aren't supposed to work until their claims are approved. How many businesses are paying the migrants in cash? It's one thing if the immigration process was well organized and all the immigrates were working and paying taxes. But now the provinces are begging for funding to deal with all the new comers and only Quebec is getting support from the federal government. Most mirgants just come here to try to have a better life but in reality the politicians don't care if they end up on welfare. Harrison, try to get PP to talk to you about this, I'm tired of him avoiding this NUMBER 1 issue on the minds of most Canadian Born citizens that want to know what he plans to do. Is he going to finish the job and turn this into Little India? He is sinking in the polls, he better wake up and start putting long-time taxpaying Canadians first, not last. \n\nYou had a tough time even finding some white Canadians to interview, that says it all. Then factor in all the kids these newcomers will have and we are doomed.

You have no idea how silly everything is in the job market. I am a computing / finance professional who is looking to switch to a new job. The first question they ask is whether I speak Punjabi? Of course, I don't! Then they tell me to find a new job. My friend who applied to Walmart got rejected because he doesn't speak Punjabi. My friend's son is trying to get a summer job at KFC but the Indian manager wont hire him because he is not Indian!!! We Canadians want to work but can't find work because they wont hire us. There is no skill shortage in Canada, just selective employers who only hire people on student permits and work visas.

Its a simple thing. Folks are trying to leave for a better life, they then got to know about Canada giving 3years postgraduate work permit to international students who studied for two years and, there are permanent residence programs you qualify and can apply for after getting one year Canadian work experience. This is what encouraged many international students to head in this direction. Unfortunately, half of about 800,000 international students admitted to Canada came from India (if i'm not mistaken), many of them had to borrow the money to pay fees or their family sold their ancestral land or used it borrow money with the hope that when their child who they sponsored with the money is done, he/she will be the family's hope to not only pay back, but help them relocate too. However, the picture is not looking like it anymore as the demand for jobs surged and many are not able to get jobs or can't find the kind of jobs that can make them get PR and, their current work permit is about to expire, which means they may be faced with going back home with nothing so, they are pulling every string they can to stay back because, returning will mean they are a failure and can even cause their family a lot of emotional damage. Infact, i have heard of some of them who committed suicide as they are not meeting up and are not ready to go and face the shame back home. So, what you are seeing is the definition of desperation!

You could go other countries for study but chose Canada because it is banana Republic and you know you will get PR after some small bogus course. Australia don't even give PR to people who studied there unless they study the profession which they need. I like to go to Japan and live there so I will go for study there and then demand Japanese government to give me PR??? government is not saying no to you but government wants you to study the profession which is needed not fast food servers, security guard and truck drivers because for these jobs people are already here in Canada in tons. And when you saturate the labour market for these unskilled jobs then the corporations would have upper hands and they will suppress the wages and the living standards of everyone will go down. Go study skill trade and build home for Canadians and then the government will give you PR no doubt. These probably happened but your vid is creating fear and not informative. Canada is a welcoming country, and visa officers are trained to be friendly and not aggressive. As soon as you land in Canada, get your information straight. Know why you are here, where you will be staying and for how long. Do not approach the border officers with fear or panic as this video is trying to make you feel.Canada doesn’t just set people aside for deportation at the airport. Once you land in Canada you are protected by Canadian law and international law on immigrants . A visa officer will not warn you of overstaying your visa (if you overstay you won’t be granted visa next time) no officer will tell you that. That’s not their job. People can be set aside for proper screening or scrutiny but that doesn’t mean they are being set aside for deportation. Deportation has a procedure and it’s a costly process even for the Canadian government.These are assumptions. You are exaggerating! Don’t be afraid people, Canada is a beautiful and welcoming country. Information on your application has to match information you give in your questioning. If they don’t match then suspicion is aroused.Even if it doesn’t , they are so many explanations you can give as to why ( stress, airsick,tired, confused ,hungry cus of the long flight) officers will give you time to cool off and come to you later. If it gets to the worst, invoke your rights as an international immigrant and ask for entry to Canada being a safe country as a refugee claimant . Officers can’t deport you if you claim asylum at the border, they have to follow due process and your case must be heard by a judge. Create information, not fear!

Him being deported or not doesn't matter, the rules and regulations that allow such inexperienced drivers drive these huge dangerous rigs is a huge problem. I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. It's sad to see so many people jump to race or immigration to try to explain their frustration with our current issues in Canada. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. If so, where did he get that training and experience? Did he have the qualifications for a Class 1 Operator's License? Did he have prior experience? If so, where, when, and how much? \nGlobal News doesn't focus on what caused the deaths of the Humboldt Broncos - why? Accounts at the time suggested that Sidhu was not qualified, but that by some process he got the job anyway. Will Global be following up on that? Up to now, Global has not asked those questions. Sidhu was convicted for actions resulting in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. He is not a Canadian citizen and the rules are clear: his criminal conviction means he's being deported. Unlike Global News, the victims I see in this story are the families of the Humboldt Broncos team, and the team members themselves. Global News want to change criminal to innocent victim. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was given a fair trial, convicted and sentenced. Now he is being deported. If Global wish to play the 'reverse the story' game, perhaps they should refuse Canadian citizens' tax dollars as 'revenue'.

So Canada gives them a nice gift and a helping hand and now they demand the store become theirs. Send them back and let them try getting in legally with skills we need. Canadian sons and daughters can pour coffee as their first job instead. Enough is enough. Canada has to take care of Canadian citizens first. I am a normal good hearted person and if we need coffee pouring people then fine , just apply in a legal way with a background check to know what kind of person we think of letting in for any job that is not filled by a Canadian.

The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

I also am a Canadian born and I don't recognize my country our culture has change, the immigrants are trying to take over our country and not give Canadian artists a chance to preform. What a shame indeed. They should be a shame of themselves and respect our culture. I'm in school and can't ever get a place to do my placement and I know of other Canadian borns who are struggling to get jobs and the ppl told them that they want immigrants and refugees first and then Canadians when is this going to end. Canada needs to be structured around Canadians ASAP. These fake students take entry level jobs from teens. They also take jobs from actual Canadian newly grads, trying to get into their respective industries. We also need to lock up these racist companies who only hire punjabi indians.

This country has a history of a few hundreds years and it’s all immigration. It was a brown land, then the Europeans came and it became whiter and now it’s becoming more brown again. I am planning to give up the America dream to pursue my dream in East Asia. I have a Ba in math, raise in America and I am US citizen. I never get the chance to work in my field nor did I ever get a white collar job anywhere. So now, I try save up my money to freelance and live abroad. Most of what was reported here is true but the housing market and rents have skyrocketed all over the world since the Chinese government F'd everyone with Covid-19. At first there were supply chain issues with all goods so businesses said we have to increase prices. Once supply issues were back to pre-Covid-19 levels businesses did not & will not lower their prices on goods because , we as a society do not take matters into our own hands and boycott products\\company's etc. Now obviously we cannot boycott all goods & services but the majority we could and that is the only thing that would cause action among companies to lower bank fees, fast food prices, grocery prices, cell plan costs etc.\n\nWith that said, you picked two of the highest and most sought after city's in CAN to rent & or try to buy a home. Although rent & home prices have really jumped all over the world in the past 3-4 years, more affordable (still not cheap) housing, compared to Toronto, Vancouver, can be found all across CAN. My sister & brother in law found an apartment to rent in Winnipeg without any difficulty or waiting. \nThey are immigrants and entered on her student Visa & he is a computer programmer. They are not struggling to eat but they have to follow a tight budget since she cannot work but 20 hours a week as a student and they have 1 kid, a car payment,utilities, cell plan, etc. They have filed for their PR and I suspect they will be approved since his job is in demand and she will graduate from College there in 4 months or so.\n\nOne thing I noticed, when my wife & I went up to get them settled in, is that the government (national & local) taxes you all pay out of the wazzoo on everything! I think the only thing that wasn't taxed was air. ? I know most of this is due to the healthcare system, because the money has to come from somewhere. Don't misunderstand, I like the CAN healthcare system better than the US's, because the insurance companies stick it to us as well, but both have their pluses and minuses.\n\nCAN does have a much easier system for immigration. If my sister & bro in law could have come here we would have been glad for them to stay with us and help them get started but the backlog is just so long to wait (10 + years). I also LOVE CAN because you uphold your laws and DEPORT illegal immigrants instead of letting them pour into the Country, by the millions each year, and the majority eventually trickle into the population illegally, who get jobs & pay no taxes (other than sales tax) no driver's licenses or vehicle insurance and get 100% free medical and hospital care anytime while legal US citizen's pay high premiums, into social security and their income taxes each year.

I remember when all of Toronto was complaining about all the homeless living in the parks and that was before the refugees so what happened back then because the homeless doesn’t like the homeless shelters is because they don’t want to be told what to do and what time to come and what time to go to bedand a lot of the refugees that apply for the refugee system. Try to hurry up and get off the system and get a job and start working, but these Canadian homeless have been homeless for a long time begging for a long time.

It's funny on a Travel Group on Facebook. There was an Indian complaining that no one would talk to their family in Cancun.\nPeople were telling them they have to be more outgoing in smile more to engage other people and cultures a sudden instead of letting this person get away with their made-up racism in their head.\nI was on vacation I heard a young Indian couple talking but they were bragging and bragging about a low-level job and how they were going to get rid of employees and it was just a turn off to even listen too, because they're trying too hard to be relevant around people because they work at Wayfair ?!
