I did not realize, until I read these comments, how many nincompoops we also have in Canada! 1) we are ALL IMMIGRANTS with the First Nations being here first.* * since "time immemorial," a concept referring to First Nations presence on the land long before recorded history. He is not calm; he’s bombastic. He’s waaaaaaaay to the right, and will trample equal rights for women, and other valued communities. He has no interest in listening to other positions, views, or suggestions. His way or the highway. Again like the Fascist down south. 4) Our provincial leaders (except a few traitors to Canada’s sovereignty) are behind the extremely difficult work Carney is doing for our country. 67% of Canadians are cheering him on, including the Conservative playground scrapper, Doug Ford, plus Stephen Harper. So, put your bile on hold and support the positive. We’re in a really difficult, daily changing, coming at us from all sides, battle with the POS south of us. Carney is giving it his all. It’s really disappointing to see some immigrants not making any effort to adapt to this beautiful country, but instead trying to recreate everything exactly as it was back home. I’m an immigrant healthcare professional myself, and I visit many nursing and retirement homes. It feels extremely disrespectful when immigrant workers speak only in their own languages even when others around them don’t understand. Just a few days ago, I was in a park and witnessed someone spitting red tobacco all over a tree trunk. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in Canada. We came here for better opportunities and a better life, so it should be our responsibility to respect the culture and the public spaces here. I genuinely believe the government needs to be stricter about who they allow in. Canada doesn’t need people who refuse to integrate or who create a nuisance in public. Diversity is about sharing and respecting each other, not about ignoring Canadian values or lowering public standards. If someone is not willing to respect this country and its culture, then maybe Canada is not the place for them.

This is done deliberately. The government does not support freedom, free speech, decency, Christian values, live and let live. I don’t blame the immigrants, I blame our liberal government because they are the ones who are supposed to control the amount of people coming into the country. If I travel to another country that I want to live in or work in, I need to follow their rules, laws and respect their culture, not trash their country, and change their culture and country to my country. When I moved here 7 years ago, Canada felt like heaven. People were respectful, culture was strong, even Tims had great customer service. I was eager to adapt, made Canadian friends, worked in a church Downtown, Barrie to assimilate. Now it feels totally different, more chaotic almost third world in parts. Honestly, I don’t blame immigrants, I blame the laws. They’re too soft, and people take advantage. Refugee protection, settlement aid, multiculturalism sounds welcoming on paper, but in practice, they’re dragging the country down.

Listen, this is the mind of the colonizer. Remain who you are. Never forget where you come from. Have respect for others. Just because you left your culture doesn't mean you have to take on that culture. You just have to respect other people.

It is to these people that Canada belongs and not to the invading anglo saxon proyestants and Christian evangelists or the mogrants from across the world. If anyone has a right to protest and femand their land back ots the native Canadians. It should be their government not of those who took over. So get a lottlr acquainted with true history and look at things with am intelligent honest perspective.. .

Honestly the batshit crazy comment reflects the #1 concern most Canadians have with the United States. We have conservatives and religious types but they're all more or less respectful and they don't try to control Canadian society. In comparison, at least a fifth of Americans are borderline fascists, and none of us want anything to do with those types of people. I allways knew Trump was bad news but never did I see a country turn it's administrative logistic into a pure representation of the cult Donald made into place. I hope my fellow friendly american get loud enought to be herd from their respective administrative leaders in your political system. Be critical, this is not what the USA is sopposed to be about.

Protect the Constitution, not a the politicians! Trump does not the respect the Constitution that our country was founded upon. Protect our freedoms people! No kings!

From Belgium; Now this is a leader worth respecting. \nI hope Donald gets put in his place, whether he stops making enemies out of friends all around the world, instead of doubling down making this worse for everyone. \nOr gets stopped by the american people that stand up against him, united with allies their population worldwide, to hold higher morals then the absolute lack thereof asserted by the current Trump administration.

He's not appeasing putin. He's trying to stop people from dying. Respecting the agreement to not put nato in the Ukraine, is basically living up to your word. The borders go back to where they were at 2014. I believe that's a fair deal and will stop 2,200 people from dying every single day. You guys are praising this crap Zolenesky spews... while everybody in the Ukraine has lost their sons. And now they are grabbing old men off the street literally while walking their dog and making them soldiers.
