The liberals in our country keep saying how terrible our country is. If that, then why do so many people from other countries feel so desperate to live here?\n\nAlso, who made them feel so entitled to come here illegally that they would rush our border patrol?

So being canadian means being white only ? All the Europeans that split tithe USA and some in canada because of their disagreements, that may be the culture of the first settlers yes. I personally do not agree with somethings cultural habits like child marriage etc or Muslim laws for women etc. Thank God for Canadian laws for all people. It's normal for people to bond together in the community and they all seem to feel more comfortable living ner their own ethic people. I love all people and I'm good living amongst a mixed community!

I live in a small community in Utah, 165 miles south of Salt Lake City. I can't imagine how the legal immigrants feel there in NYC. Even here, they are being pushed out by the illegals, willing to work for poor wages, and living 30 people to a travel trailer on BLM ground. The liberal ideology is destroying the hard working legal immigrants families, and forcing them out. Liberal propaganda is chuck full of lies and far less than logical. I couldn't agree more I thought I was in Canada lol...this is it because of all the immigrant that got 1000000 placed in nav Canada Cornwall Ontario. I'm all for legal immigration but I don't think the US can handle any more people at the moment. I don't know about anyone else, but it's been brutal for me personally to find a job for a couple of months just to get by until my other job is good to go for the season. I've never had to claim unemployment (I always found another job within a week or two), and I've been suffering for the past 6 months. I'm more than qualified for some of the applications I have filled out, but yet I feel like just because I'm a white woman, I get skipped over. I've applied to around 50-70 jobs and only had 2 interviews. Thankfully, I still live at home, but if i didn't, I'd be wayyy more screwed. I believe America needs to take care of it's legal citizens first, then we can worry about others.

Being an Indian and who lived abroad (legally) for half a decade i will only say this you shouldn’t be migrating to a country illegally,if you are there illegally you should be ready for getting treated as someone who broke the law.The Indian government statement read its just protocol which is actually true.As a fellow indian i do feel sorry for the people who got deported but again you weren’t there legally,You should have expected this to be a possibility when you took the decision to cross the border illegally.

I think society wants women to stay weak and for alpha males to call the shots. Again a transexual female can never replace a biological born female. Transexuals know this. Why destroy their only shot of a little happiness in this world? It is a very cruel existence because they will be on hormone treatments for the rest of their lives. So many gay men all over the world have femine souls. Then there are tough Lesbians who have masculine souls. It can be confusing but one can get over it all at once when you look at people from the human point of view. They bleed, they think, they have hearts, emotions and needs like everyone else in this world. America loves to put down Jews, Blacks, Minorities of any kind, sexual minorities like the LGBTQ community. Think of all us in a bus or a cruise ship. We are in this ride for a lifetime. I know for transgender people who in Asian Cultures and Native American know about the souls. Other religions don't punish or discriminate. No human being is perfect. Its corporate greed which has trickled down into all areas of life. Rents, property values etc etc. No government can fix it in a democracy because capitalism gives greed the platform. Record profits during covid says it all. Recessions give a partial temporary reboot and depressions are devastating and take a long time to recoup from. I live in a rural small town, retired, own my house and debt free . Low property tax and affordable housing and rents but in the Maritimes. Cities are the worst to survive in. I feel for all that are struggling but Canada is a great country and better than most but one must be willing to relocate to areas that they can afford to live in and still have steady work.

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

This is the look of freedom. This is the human spirit showing us that the will to live, to be free takes precedent over nationality, culture, etc. The United States NEVER stopped being an oasis in the world’s mind. It is an icon of breaking from from tyranny, oppression even if the USA doesn’t deserve that designation. Or, maybe the U.S. doesn’t belong to u.s. children if immigrants as we believe. Maybe, the U.S. really belongs to every tired and huddled mass yearning to be free. Who are we, Americans, to decide our legacy was over? Maybe, we ran into trouble when we forgot what we are, and why our own ancestors came here. The people of the world have spoken. We have no right to withhold safe refuge from those fleeing death and oppression. Instead of hanging with dictators, maybe our highest national “leader” should return to his original mantra of demanding other nations provide safety for their own, so that their own stop feeling the need to flee. This is the vast majority of migrants’ character. We can separate law breakers from the masses, without accusing the masses of criminality.

Every generation will have a very different life if they grew up in any metropolitan place. My grandfather came to Vancouver 1896. His family of five lived in garages while he built houses. No communication with the outside world. My father went to war in 1940's and experience things many will never see. He worked in Vancouver his whole life. My generation saw the first home computer, cell phone and color TV. and the internet was born. I was always taught hystory in school. My kids tell me , they don't know how people lived the last 100 years other than first nations people, and historical figures. Its not taught. They have no idea how people struggled to survive. My kids and their friends are fascinated by the pictures I have from the past 120 years in Vancouver. People now want everything. They are not willing to sacrifice life style. Even my own kids feel this way. Luckily i taught good values and work ethics to my 3 daughters , so they are very successful.

I lived in Venezuela for a couple of years prior to their current situation. I love the Venezuelan people. Not a fan of their government though. I feel for them and have no idea how hard it is for them to start the legal immigration process from the Ven. side. Not sure what the answer is there.

This fits Trump's narrative too well. CNN coverage has changed since ownership switched hands. We knew it would be gradual perceptive switch but it has indeed fallen from the standards of the past. Closer to a fox for the next caste up. You only know what you are shown. You work the same job and see the same people. If you watch the same news outlets you are exposing yourself to information crafted from the same perspective. My world is small vs reality and yours is too. Think about the decades of Americans trying to keep them out, investing money in walls and barriers and wire when we could have helped stabilize these countries to where these guys wouldn't feel like they HAD to come here to live with dignity. I'm a Finn living in Paraguay. My husband and I lived in Germany for eleven years until we moved to Paraguay two years ago. Life is good even though financially it's different than in Germany. However, we have built a house, we have some land, two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. We have a car and food. It's more than I ever dreamed of. We strongly feel that we have a future and it's lovely.\n\nOne thing one must keep in mind: part of your first home country and your past will always be in you. That creates a process of mourning you have to go through. And the longer you are away the greater becomes the difference between you and your own country because you both are changing but to the different directions. You realize that there's no going back. Allowing illegal immigration to take place willingly is making it impossible for Americans to live out the American dream. It’s not about us not being considerate or empathetic. It’s about us having those feelings for Americans because we are hurting our economy. Our jobs. Our schools are production and manufacturing are all hurting. I'm guessing your friend who gave birth for the cost of $3000 had no complications and good insurance, because from what I've read, the cost without insurance is between $30,000 and $50,000 which is insane to me. As for emerg wait times - I live in a small town in rural Alberta & have never had a problem. Recently had to go to emerg. Was triaged, saw Dr., had xrays & was given Rx. Was in and out in 30 minutes and of course I paid nothing out of pocket. I feel pretty lucky to live here.

After living in the US 30 yrs and raising 2 kids, I had to return to Canada for family reasons, and THE biggest difference is the comfort in knowing my health care is covered without having to pay 100's of dollars a month for that secure feeling.

I live in Spain. European tourist destinations are overcrowded with travellers. With more people wanting to travel abroad, higher %age of visas getting rejected is normal. No need to feel victim all the time.

Thank you for the video. I'm 33 and Partner is 30, graduating soon from his PhD. We love Canada and everything about it but weather. However, we feel increasingly bored with life here despite the fact that we live in downtown Toronto. So we think of moving to Europe or US, haven't decided yet. Depends on jobs, cost of living and crime rates.
