Trump states he wants to make American great again, he seems to forget that he needs friends and allies to make American great again, he seems to be on a path of alienating America.

I'm European and I really can't understand how you can make an economic trade war with an ally like Canada, a close and so friendly neighbor.... A dumb decision not only for the W Post... And all of this will end up heavily impacting Americans as well, also because besides Canada there is Mexico, China and the whole of Europe. In such a war there are no winners.... I really hope that the American people understand this and start fighting for this nonsense to end. \nAnd when I then hear President Trudeau called governor.... Well I get even more angry. This shows even more (but there was no need) who trump is. A suburban bully. A rude man. An unscrupulous man who passes over everything and everyone.\nAmerica is turning into something I no longer recognize....\n\nKeep going Canada!

I had to stop listening to this panty waste! We have been trying to understand for TEN YEARS, what the Liberal/NDP Coalition has been doing/saying. Why did it take a President from another country, to threaten tariffs for them to do their jobs? Sell Out Singh, is just as much to blame, as is Croatia Freeland, Mark “Carnage” Carney! Carney probably made a deal with DT for all of this!! I am not a fan of DT, not even close, and it pains me to agree with some of the things he’s saying. JT, says 1% of drugs come from here. That’s 1000% ? ?!! They don’t even check the ports. This dude at the border is a friend of JT’s, just like everyone in his cabinet! Well idk my market is going up very nice today. Also we can make every Canadian goods at home so that there is no weight to his words in my eyes. I do say if Canada is doing all these measures though it would be nice to come to an agreement with Canada. To be friends with neighbors is always better than not being friends. So overall I'm kinda torn between it all. We don't need Canada to be honest but just because we don't need them does not mean we should not work with them. Very tuff situation at this moment.

I just feel the need to apologize to Canadians. What Trudeau said was correct - we've always enjoyed amicable relations between our two countries. Some of my best friends are Canadians. The Orange Man does not speak for us. 77 million people voted for him - roughly 1/5th of our country. Do not assume the Orange idiot speaks for all of us. Some of us just want to live peaceful lives of consequence.

It is time to start an economic boycott on the US. It pains me greatly to say this. But we can't leave our friends and allies in the cold. The US government tries to destroy Europe and Canada. It needs to be stopped.

Canada has the winning hand. Canada has resources that USA needs to survive. USA has nothing to offer to Canada to survive. If Canada should cut energy to USA, let’s see who is the boss. For say, Canada is the biggest producer for potash, a fertilizer needed for the American fields. Canada will suffer from these tariffs but USA will cash down harder. Hell will come down on USA unfortunately hurting our American friends and relatives south of Canadian border.
