I’ve had personal experiences where I’ve struggled to connect with some Indians at work and felt excluded. While I try to remain polite and professional, these repeated interactions have left me with mixed feelings. I understand the importance of diversity and cultural inclusion, but I believe there also needs to be mutual respect and effort from everyone involved for integration to work. It’s not about banning anyone but fostering better understanding and collaboration.

Indians need to be more civilisized , and learn to respect others. The most important, they need to climb down from the attitude horse!! Learn from your neighbour country ppl of Sri Lanka

I mean as someone who has worked on the other side of things (as in deporting) the comprehension level of Indians at the immigration counter is appalling they would be asked one thing and all they would answer is but I have hotel bookings and return flight tickets… and this is not a language barrier as I interpret the interviews live…. Indian has talent that world needs, so does Cuba have the best doctors in the world. Problem India has it the respect they show when living in other people countries. A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

In India you need Chacha Mamma not talents where as western respect talented people.

They rank countries not only based on the size of their economies but also on the behavior of their people. Palki believes India is a superpower, but for the West, it is seen as a developing country with many people lacking proper behavior, ethics, and hygiene. Indian media needs to understand that respect is earned, not demanded or forced. Many Indians I have met in foreign countries tend to boast about their homeland while choosing to live in a developed country without fully integrating into the local culture. This plays a significant role in the rankings.

We don’t need these ‘privileged’ countries to survive. They need us more than we need them. Let’s degrade their visas and reciprocate their rejection rate. We can survive better in a friendly world with mutual respect than in a world of racist colonialists or wannabe racists. Europe is paying a price for their stupidity. American is next.

Being an Indian I myself, I have never seen any individual from the countries this lady mentioned posing a strike in any of these countries mentioned rejecting visas. \nThe more you try to impose your selfless behaviour and disrespect the more visas they will reject! As Indians, we need to focus on improving our physical presentation, practicing good hygiene even outside our homes, and developing essential interpersonal skills. Punctuality is also key, it shows respect for others’ time. Instead of blaming Western countries for their perceptions, we should consider adopting some good aspects of their culture that align with professionalism and global standards. These changes can help create a better impression and open more opportunities for us.

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

how about indians entering countries on visitor visas and staying illegally ... so 1st and foremost we need to mend our ways \nlot of people are after easy money or some fake illusion of luxurious life abroad without putting hard yards in ... fact is most of these idiots end up selling their ancestral properties or forcing parents to take unfavorable loans in search of their world of fantasies .\nMy advice to all such people skill up and work on yourself you will be able to live your life with dignity irrespective of where you are either in India or abroad . It's not just about the largest economy we need to consider the real fact for visa rejections, one of them is not respecting the visitor visas restrictions i.e. overstating and working without work authorization. I have seen so many Indians selling fruits, flowers and gift items illegally on the streets of Europe and Americas.

In my workplace, I have had positive interactions with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and other Asian cultures. Regrettably, issues have arisen with some Indian coworkers due to their inclination to work solely with other Indians. My experiences with Pakistani and Bangladeshi colleagues have been particularly pleasant, as they have consistently demonstrated kindness. However, some Indian colleagues have displayed narcissistic tendencies and a lack of respect, prioritizing their own needs above others. This selfish behavior has created difficulties for Canadian colleagues, who find it challenging to work collaboratively with these individuals. Moreover, I have noticed that some Indian employees, upon securing a job, focus exclusively on hiring other Indians, leading to a lack of diversity in the workplace. This has raised concerns about racism, as some Indian individuals have exhibited prejudice towards black and white colleagues, often using derogatory language and pretending to work while failing to make meaningful contributions.

These programs serve as stepping stones to secure student visas and, eventually, local jobs. While many return home after a few months without success, those who secure jobs often refuse to assimilate. Instead, they create workplace tensions to drive out the locals, and once they got onto managerial positions, often conduct preferential hiring towards people of their own ethnicity / village. \n \nThis trend must stop. \n\n1. Someone who has a desired skill, and are ready embrace other cultures, should apply work visa. \n2. Someone who is a scholar, or geniunely wishes to study in foreign university, should apply student visa. \n3. Someone who is a mediocre opportunist who wants a quick backdoor to a job or permanent residency in other country, should not disguise themselves as a student. \n \n\nNot that hard.

I’ve worked all my life, I raise 2 children by myself, worked as a nurse for 41years. Never asked the government for anything. These people forced themselves into this country, and expect to be served by the government, demanding all this rights, they have not earned. Many American citizens are homeless and have not received the help they need yet. And these so called refugees expect to be treated with respect, and don’t like the help given to them, because it’s not what they deserve. Well to bad; they need to go back where they came from and, stay there.

Agree with others I don’t mind and even enjoy diff cultures here. I have good friends from other countries now Cdn and happy to be. Yes the woke media thinks that Canadians should assimilate to the immigrants coming here but they don’t think the immigrants should assimilate to Canada. That won’t end well for Canada.
