The figure the presenter quoted at 5.50minutes, deporting 1 million could cost 20 billion dollars. That works out at 20,000 US$ each. It would be easier to offer them 10,000US$ each to go. 90% would go and you would avoid untold problems. Also it would be cheaper. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I would prefer to keep migrants here but give them legal working status if they have productive jobs and they pay tax.

First this would be very costly. It takes money away from citizens that could use the monetary application like the homeless. Next, working illegals pay into social security that they will never use. How will those funds be replaced? And finally, many illegals are well known to be cheap labor for farmers and AG related businesses. Removing them drives up food costs because US citizens will need higher wages or US citizens will not work those jobs and create food shortages. I worked in Criminal Court (NYC Metro area) for many years. We always checked for Immigration Holds on those who were arraigned in our courts. How it plays out is that INS would take a long time to appear where detainee was. Court (local w/ separate budget) wants to process the case quickly just like the local jail want to discharge because it cost money to keep people locked up. If INS is not fast enough to appear the people are released.

I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. On a positive note, hand guns at least are not legal and our country has beautiful natural land.

It's interesting to see what will happen if I post a neutral comment here. \n\n\nUndoubtedly, Germany is not a paradise on Earth, just like any other place. There are both pros and cons. Sometimes I felt like I was reading comments about a completely different country when people wrote about not being accepted by society and so on, so I decided to respond too.\n\n\nI barely speak German (my second language is English) and I have never felt any racism or disrespect towards me. Whether it was on the street or at work. I more often met friendly people who were interested in learning about my move to Germany and were always admiring and saying words of support. This cannot be faked, these things were real. \n\n\nOf course, you will experience a lot of stress when visiting the foreigners' department, as many things are unfamiliar to you and you don't have enough language skills at first.\n\n\nOf course, I would like to get paid more for my work, or at least pay less taxes. Yes, child money support exists, but it's more of a formality as it barely covers the costs of raising children. This is where I would really like to see improvements.\n\n\n\nPeople, including immigrants, cannot understand that by increasing the demand for housing, they are increasing its cost. You can't blame the country itself for this.
