The refugees who live off taxpayers' welfare should be driven away, while the rich and skilled people should stay. Is it fair for the middle class to work hard and pay taxes to support a bunch of lazy people?

Some Canadians want to also leave…… taxes and quality of affordable living working and life balance…..spent early 20s to early 50s working 60-80 hrs per week and only now realized that all that hard work hasn’t paid off enough for early retirement or a wealthy retirement. Being a generational Canadian we often don’t see the struggle early enough and are told hard work pays off……..it does until you find yourself asking yourself what was all that for, worked and worked to give the government more than you give your family. I would not want to immigrate to Canada.

The homes are crazy expensive. Just start from million The healthcare is not good if something were to happen to you . Hav e to be waiting in the emergency over night I slips on ice went to the emergency went there at 6:00 for looked at 9:00 waited 4 hrs to get look d at. 3 generation Canadians have it good there parents came in the 90s houses weren’t so expensive then . Know it’s really hard with inflation so high if you don’t have a good job it will be a struggle. Indian students come to Canada thinking just working on cash will be enough ?it will not . Mass immigration is a problem to many people less houses . Canada likes to say they welcome immigrants but truthfully they dont. And high taxes, truth fully you work all your life just to sure and pay taxes …….

Cause of carbon tax gas is expensive food is expensive homes prices are insane and thats ontop of inflation already, hard to find even a apartment because of all the immigrants, feels like i live in India and the middle east when I go outside. \nCanada for the middle class just feels like a place to work and pay bills, and is a shadow of it's former self.

Born in Mexico and living in Canada for the last 33 years. This is not the Canada we had before.\nThinking also to move back to Mexico. Working hard people had to pay a lot of taxes,etc. More than 50% of you income goes to Federal, Provincial and municipal gouvernements.\nCanada rewards lazy people and hard working people must pay too much. It’s a zhithole, cheapest house in poorest province is 300,000 while salaries are 45,000 a year where you take home 30,000 in a year for high taxes but people are so stupid that just won’t stop immigrating cuz they think is just like the US where you work hard and you are rewarded. Canada is not. The more you work the higher taxes you pay. Life is expensive , housing is in crisis and healthcare is gone. But philipinos indians and Africans won’t stop coming here thinking that lifestyle is similar to US where only cultural and languages are shared. Quality of life it’s worst and worst every year. I pay over $4000 mortgage on a 420k house I bought 7 years ago, used to be $1300, worked so hard for 18 years to be able to buy a house. Property taxes are $350 a month, groceries are tripled.. every single person is suffering. I’m thinking it’s about time to have a change in the system.

They don’t want to come here to work hard, they want to come here so the tax dollars can pay for them to live so they can be lazy. The quality of work and the unethical way of business is ridiculous.

But if you don’t it’s hard. I find it so weird when they ask for Canadian experience when you just came to Canada I blame the employer they make it difficult for people to get hired and in return people leave to find a job in a different country I did the same thing came to Canada to look for work working in IT and I didn’t get IT job because I did t have any Canadian experience. After two years of working at a job that was not even what I studied I left Canada and found a job that I studied for I got a good job in America Long island New York and never looked back……. I get paid double then I would have if I had gotten a job in Canada any way ….. forget Canadian experience it’s not worth moving to Canada the country has changed. You pay more for everything in the states you get things for a lot less . Car insurance in Canada is so expensive……… do t get me started on the winter ?

People are leaving Canada because of taxes and very rude and racist society. Also opportunities such as higher pay jobs are only given to family and close friends. Hard working and smarter individuals don't get nothing in return for their efforts and contributions

Be living in Toronto for over 20 years. I feel it is getting worse every year.\nCanada is well known for high salary, good benifit and health card. That attracts immigrants from all over the world especially third world countries. \nBut the living cost is insane compare to early 2000s. If government can't handle the housing problem, they should not open border for more immigrants. More ppl squeezed in a city will get rental higher and higher. If you don't have a good job with decent pay, what gonna happen? Homeless or crime rate increase.....\n\nThe government officials are so dumb no matter which party, they are selfish and stupid, they dont give a f about true tax payers and hard working ppl.

In Canada we just work to pay tax, and property tax for government. There is no live only stress and work hard. I'm looking to leave Canada as well. Best decision

My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

I arrived in Canada when I was 5 and been here for almost 50 years. I think people forget how much the original folks struggled. You hardly found an Indian store and were discriminated against. I think you made some valid points Canada is heading in the wrong direction and we need to blame the government. We don't even have affordable housing or Healthcare to support the increase in immigration. These no name colleges are making money at the expense of poor students. These students then have to work in low paying jobs. I really don't see any scope for some of these students. Think twice before coming to Canada because even I am thinking about leaving this country now...high taxes and it will only get worse!!

Trudeau says he is working hard for Canadians every day. The evidence disagrees:\n- carbon taxes hit every item purchased or service required to live; housing, food, fuel etc. etc. Do you really believe 8 out of 10 Canadian families get more back than they pay in?\n- Trudeau promises to make housing cheaper but fails to recognize that the Immigration Invasion is a contributing factor\n- Trudeau says the gov't will borrow so Canadians don't have to. Evidence shows that consumer debt levels are the highest in the G7. His reckless borrowing has doubled federal debt and created a 40 yr. high in inflation. Mass immigration causes taxes to rise, gov't services to decline. Inflation, rents, and mtge costs rise. Is PM lying?\n- An immigration invasion pushes wage levels down and inflation up. Why won't PM talk about this\n- one in 4 Canadians has to go to food banks at least once a month. Meanwhile Ukraine gets $9 billion in Canadian aid for yachts while Canadians suffer. How is this helping Canadians. \nIf you believe Trudeau's rhetoric then if you are better off now than 8 yrs ago. Ask the truckers if you are more free. Wake up folks.

All you religious types who protect these lowlives who do nothing but make the streets dangerous and turn them into putrid drug dens make them in to places filled with human waste and syringes are committing crime to support the very expensive drug habit attrack people because they are off their head on whatever garbage they chose to put in themselves. On top of everything else out hard earned taxes are forced to pay for their self inflicted medical care and all the other government funding and devices handed to them. Which makes my blood ABSOLUTELY boil . Remember the Bible also says those who do not work do not eat!!!

They come here to get their papers and benefits and then go back to their country. They probably collect welfare and pension while living abroad without paying tax. So unfair for us who are working hard and paying taxes. The government is making it too easy for them

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. There is No labour shortage! Data shows there's more people looking than there is work. People are lining around the block for low-paying jobs. Dollararrma had 2000 applicants in Waterloo for a lead cashier job. I've never known the job market to be so competitive with multiple tests, assessments and interviews for entry-level gigs. And its getting increasingly hard to get a job without speaking a foreign language. Why is mass immigration needed if they take our jobs and housing? The government says we need their tax dollars to support social programs but our social programs have declined a lot in the past decades despite mass immigration. It costs millions to process these immigrants. All immigration should be halted immediately and the processing costs used to conduct a study to determine what if any benefits we really get from this. Most countries don't take in half as many immigrants and manage just fine. People are struggling to find work and housing and the economy seems to be suffering not benefitting from immigrants. I feel for people in war-torn countries but we have been than generous to immigrants and our own citizens are hurting as a result.

Great, now we have people who don't measure up to the Canadian standards, health care and other important jobs that Canadians work so hard to be accredited for, will now be handed out to a lower standard of practice, and we will all pay in the long run, just to let immigration keep non tax paying people in our country.

Been in Canada for approximately 25 years. I can say that the effect that Canada has on a legal immigrant is neither here nor there. If you can make lemonade out of any lemon you’re dealt, you will thrive in Canada (and anywhere else where your efforts are not overwhelmingly quashed by corruption, blatant racism or other forms of segregation). \n \nLynn, I was a lecturer in Kenya, went back to school here in Canada after wallowing in culture shock the first year, then circled back to teaching in college again after an arduous journey in school, but this time in a different field. \n \nAfter becoming a single mother of four kids, I had to also hustle on the side to build a small business empire along my life’s ladder. Partnership with God, goal clarity, the get-up-and-go, and relentlessness truly work. It isn’t the size of the dog but the fight in the dog that does it, regardless of where you live. \n \nThe starting point for a new immigrant can be very low due to the weather, unpreparedness and culture shock, but if you know that the only way is up, and are self-motivated, those challenges are soon behind you as the tests become testimonies. \n \nBy comparison people have more human rights here regardless of their status. The wheels of justice grind slow but they do grind fine. Women and children have equal rights with men. Politicians are mostly there to serve not necessarily to exploit. \n \nOpportunities for self-development galore - including being trained to become employable and going to school at any age (sometimes for free while you are still at the bottom of the ladder). There are food banks so you never go hungry if it came to that. The disabled are better treated with dignity. \n \nThere are prolonged parental leaves for both moms and dads for up to 18 months. Commensurate with earnings, parents under certain thresholds are given Canada child tax benefits and other supplements for each child under 18 years of age. \n \nDepending on the number of kids and their ages, the money can add up handsomely. Not to mention that there’s no tuition to pay for primary and high school students. Tuition fees start at post-secondary level. \n \nTo see a doctor is free as it is paid for by taxes. It the meds that you and/or your insurance pays for. Some medical equipments may be paid for by either or both the individual/insurance and the government depending on eligibility. \n \nBy and large, there’s cleanliness of common spaces. There’s also safety and relative peace. At least wherever I have lived, I can’t tell you how many times I forgot to lock my door with impunity. \n \nThere’s a lot more stressful work here in my opinion, but like you said Lynn, systems work a lot more efficiently and effectively. \n \nThe elephant in the room is the extra hard work that those living abroad must put in to fulfil expectations back home. Also known as black tax, the overwhelming financial dependency of relatives on their diasporan loved ones places undue stress on many here, especially because there are no short cuts to getting money here. \n \nAnyway, Lynn, thanks for such a great topical issue you’ve shared. I have to stop here as I have written a lot. Canada is a good country to live in. If you come to Canada to work you need proper paper work. You can't come to Canada on a visitor visa and expect to work. What those agencies are doing is giving visitor visas. You will suffer out there before you get a work permit as a refugee. For sure being here you need a good paying job but if you get minimum wage then you have to work two jobs and work a lot to make ends but. Good thing is there is always a job out there for you if you are hard working or be ready to study for a better paying one. Be ready to pay taxes too. The more you make the more taxes you pay and if at tge end if the year you've made more but payed less taxes then you owe the government. But all in all its a good country to stay no regrets.

I live in Canada as a Kenyan and I have been here for sometime .I work as a HR/Payroll Specialist also certified in the field. The problem is not Canada , Canada is a very good county which I love and I am gland God gave me the Opportunity to Come and settle here with my family.. The problem with some people coming here is lacking of knowledge how Canada works .It’s system is very far from how things work in Dubai or Gulf countries. A lot people are thinking than you can just come and get any job even without proper papers or you can earn a lot of money and then build wealth quickly. Which is A BIG FAT LIE. The tax in Canada keeps you humble. That is how Canada funds it's high end life many admire and want to be part of. The more you work in Canada the more tax you pay and many don't know this, and it is one of the main reasons why a lot of people start to regrets, because they realize there effort of working hard is not paying as they hoped. Another thing in Canada is next to impossible to get jobs or rent a place without proper paper work, like work permit, It is not like USA where you can use someone else papers to work. the The main available jobs , easy to get , don’t pay much. And also the cost of living is very high in some provinces like Ontario and BC. They hardly recognize credentials from outside unless you came through a job offer. Also because a lot of things in Canada are paid by the government through taxes, like health care, education. Unless you are tax paper with (and I repeat) Paper work, you cant access the benefit, including thee free food available for the needy. \nMany people forget Canada is looking for people to work for them. Not to grow rich and leave. The system is meant to keep you working. Unless you understand how a system of a country works, one will continue to blame it. Let people get well informed and well educated first , before they jump in the river. And it’s not Canada a lone , but any country in the world. Also a lot of these media post about Canada are misleading. And there is also another trap called debt, a lot of people once they getting working, rush to but things they cant afford and it becomes a stress instead of a blessings.\nIf you want to live well and enjoy Canada . One of the top thing to do is, go back to school once you enter in it, get a good education and you will get a good job. Also give yourself time to adjust. REMEMBER you are starting from square one. You are not continuing where you left in Kenya or in the country you get from. Also, the general social climate is not as friendly as those in USA for example. Not many people are willing to help for free. The most jobs advertised in Canada are the lower end paying jobs, which a lot of people pay a lot of money to come for, just to realize the job they left behind was far much better than this, but no one told them that, just because it said $18 hrs and you converted it to your country and looked a lot, doesnt mean it carries the same wait once you earn in from here. The living expense are very different. The reality is, it is not where you are , but whom you are and determination knows no barrier. Anyone who will trust God for help, work hard/smart and be patience in life, they will make. It might take longer than they expect, but they will get their eventually.

When I came here in Canada 33 years ago, I went do in legal process,My first employer offered me a job offer to come here in Canada,I went to whole legal process here,but I obeyCanadian law to have legal working visa ,and since day one paying taxes ,i earn my hard work after 30 years and receive early pension and still work in a full time job, My advice to illegal migrants follow what Canadian laws and go through legal process and crossing the right border to pass Not to way try find asylum to be free in every thing, in tax payers money.

Lynn the problem is people don’t make their own research. Even if you show this, people are going to still go there Lynn. Just like the girls who go to the the Arabic countries even when they see what happens to the girls who go there. People are desperate and just hope for the best I guess. But all countries are struggling after the pandemic ? and some are also struggling with the people coming in illegally with boats. Europe and the USA are struggling with thousands of people coming in daily, which means the governments have to support all these people before their cases are being worked on. So they are working hard to send people back that are not coming from a country with war. Also means the jobs that don’t demand high education are on very competitive. Canada and some of the developed countries only want highly educated people with skills. Who can start working right away and contribute to the society of course through paying taxes and taking care of their families. But the struggle is real.

Everyone must come to Canada if you are skilled plus Enough rich ? to invest your hard earned money. The criminal has no place in Canada like the USA. ?? Work hard-Pay tax-Live Free -Live Young.???❤❤❤??❤❤ there is no place for hate.

If this continues what are Americans going to do. We work long hours on jobs for our checks and before we get it money is taken out hardly leaving enough money to pay bills and buy food . What makes them feel that they are entitled to our resources, it needs to be done the right way. We can bearly pay rent with what we have after taxes in many cases . We dont pay taxes they take the money out so you aren't PAYING TAXES. Im done. These people need to stay home and try to bring about change.

They want to enjoy the infrastructure, education, security in Canada without putting in the requisite hard work that make those things possible! \nThey want to behave like they do in Nigeria where a Doctor employed in a Teaching hospital will not report for work or report late and still take his full salary home at the end of the month. They divert patients to their private clinics and rip them off. Canadians are working very hard and pay hefty tax so that the governent can support refugees to live here and granted the free benefits.

Wow, they get $ 50.000 tax free dollars the first year…must be nice, I wish I made that much money. And the also get 25,000 tax free dollars to set up their house …I never got that! and they also get the child tax free benefit too…..if they have 8-10kids wow ..they are making over six figures tax free ..free dental, free RX….I have to work hard for that! No freebies for the hard working Canadian tax payers! No wonder they all want to come to Canada …the land of milk and honey and easy money…why work? She forgot to mention that a lot of refugees never pay back the money for their air fare costs to come here ..ever! A lot of them complained when they had to go on welfare after a year…a drop on income…..oh no …maybe they have to go out in the cold to work everyday…..no , just have another kid or two…why work right. No wonder we pay high taxes in Canada!

Born and raised in Canada for 64 years, working middle class all my life has shown me that in the last 2 decades the middle class here keep moving towards poverty because of the increased cost of living and taxes. I will likely have to leave my own country when I retire soon and am resentful that all my years of hard work leads to that. Its a choice between living on the streets or moving away. Our government has catered to the wealthy and given false rhetoric about making sure the middle class working Canadians have a decent life. At $2800 for a 1 bedroom apartment, $2 a litre for gas, high car insurance rates, lower wages than other major cities. My tax dollars pay for public parks that now charge to park in them so only the rich can afford to go. That’s just one example of the poor and middle class getting screwed over.

Take a gander at any large, medium, and even a few small cities.\n\nHave you ever heard of Detroit (once proud home of my beloved Motown music), Baltimore (complete devastation), or Chicago (my home town—don’t make me cry)?\n\nThe entire homeless situation started when mental hospitals were snake pits and certain factions demanded that people be released.\n\nSure, it sounds humanitarian but they didn't bother to consider what would happen to mentally ill patients suddenly left to their own devices on the streets.\n\nThe do gooders actually were foolish enough to believe that the seriously ill patients (schizophrenic, bipolar, borderline, and plenty of others) would take their meds on their own. Those are seldom legit. If the data comes from a study, always look to see who paid for it. And how large the sample size was; how were the participants selected? The UK is pretty much like Canada, now. There is only room for the 5% who are rich (the capitalists & rentiers) and the 35% of people on Benefits (the 35% of population who live off welfare paid for by the State using the hard-working tax payer's money). The honest, hard-working middle-class (about 50 to 60% of society) are absolutely screwed and doomed, because all they can now do is keep working their guts out till they drop dead, and never hope to have a decent life. The culture of state-funded Welfare has now gotten so bad that I now live in a street where some 30% of the people who live off Welfare have been given State funded houses, and those houses which are bigger and better than mine (all paid for using my tax money). And I have slogged my entire life (I am 65 now) to pay off a large mortgage on a house that eventually has lower value than the houses that people on Welfare are given on the same Street! Worse still, now that I am approaching the stage where I might need to go into a Care Home, my house (which I worked for my entire life to attain) will have to be sold off to pay for my Care Home costs. While my neighbours who never worked a single day in their life (and whose life was subsidized using my tax money) will again get free state-funded Care Home facility too! It utterly beggars belief. \n\nWhen state-funded Welfare gets to a point that doing an honest day's work actually penalizes you, because all you are doing is funding the lifestyles of the other half of society who wish to sponge off State Welfare (due to the high taxes the Government is forced to impose on the working middle-class to support the 35% on State benefits), then that society can never prosper, firstly because it removes the motivation to work hard, and secondly because some day the Government will run out of money to continuing funding the lavish lifestyles of people on State Welfare. And that is very much now the state of affairs in countries like Canada, the UK, and much of EU. It is an unsustainable model. \n\nBy contrast, in countries like the US, China, India, etc. there is a much greater correlation between hard work and reward. Choosing to not go to work and sponging off Governmental welfare is simply not an option. And that is precisely why countries like these will continue to prosper in the coming years - because they have some form of Meritocracy. Unfortunately, I think countries like the UK, Canada, and most western EU countries are looking at a downward spiral, and there are no easy solutions, because their Welfare model has already created these huge segments of society which depend on it and will not allow it to be demolished - but the day is fast approaching where they will all soon run out of money to continue funding it (most of these countries are already facing huge Debt-GDP ratios, and there is no conceivable way of them coming out of it).

There is a very simple answer to this and it can be solved overnight, But the real people that run this world have an agenda, They don’t need our input we are the sheep, So from one Sheep to another here is the fix. \n\n(1) Pass a law that if you hire an undocumented worker you go to hard labor jail overnight, Your wife goes to jail, And your kids go to jail regardless of age, Punishment for the stupidity and greed of your parents, for a knowledge of hiring undocumented workers, and you knowing taxes are not being paid, Plus cheap labor, And the reason your kids should go to jail is to end your seed, And ending you blood line will end corruption. \n\n2) If you or your corporation, needs foreign workers, Apply to the United States government from work authorization visas, This way, the migrants can work in the United States, pay his taxes and be treated fairly, this shit would end overnight.

Close the border. Americans tax dollars shouldn't have to pay for refugees when they're struggling to get by themselves. People can't afford to go to college in the U.S., it's so expensive. Cost of living goes up all the time. I have multiple degrees and can't really find a job and when I do, they always want to pay very low and def much lower than they started your counterparts at. There's a ridiculous homeless issue in the U.S. where I've met plenty that apply for jobs all the time and do not get hired. They even ask random people if they can work for them just for food, literally just for food. There are people everywhere that take things for granted including the U.S. but that's not the issue here. There are U.S. leaders that steal your money in taxes and retirement funds then misuse the funds. How is it fair for a hard working individual to have 30% of their gross removed from there paycheck then still required to pay the government when filing income taxes. You can buy a house, pay it off and never own it. The government is your forever landlord because property taxes are always due and are increased whenever authorities want them increased. Every country has serious issues.

And here i am, in the middle of eastern europe, studied hard, saved up every penny i could, even learned to code , found a good coding job, full remote these days, im in spain now, the beach is in my view.. i managed to do all of those things in the past decade, and still i was rejected by the us embrassy every single year, that makes a total of 11 times so far, not a word as to why, just rejected.. tbh i no longer want to move to the states.. i started begging you guys at 18, im 29 now.. i could’ve invested my talents and work in the us, while paying taxes there, instead i work for a us company in a very cheap part of the world while paying a small fraction of taxes to my home country.. keep letting those guys in and avoid us.. soon enough you wont have anyone defending you from the issue’s because the people that make good money and pay high taxes are leaving to make space for the homeless shelters and to avoid being stolen from by the mob

The lies that are being told to these people to make them put themselves at risk to come here is disgusting. Do you all honestly think the U.S. can handle this influx? Many, many of these people have no home to go to, no money, no assets, no idea where they are going. The democrats are using them as pawns in their political agendas. They throw them a couple of bones to make them decide to make the trip and then don't give a crap about them after. And to take the money that us Americans work hard for and pay for this is despicable. We paid 40k in taxes and special programs last year and we don't get a single word in as to where it gets spent. Our social security will be eaten up by the time we are old enough to collect it and we will probably never use disability due to a moral standard. I'd much rather keep all of our $ and then give it to whom I feel deserves it. Many of these people are not bad people, but they will use our handouts and most will not try or have the ability to get off of them.
