Seeing decedents of immigrants disapproving the arrival of other immigrants is hilarious. Somebody needs to remind these people that they're descendants of immigrants themselves- why else do they think the Canadians speak French, have European names and are Caucasian?

I live in this general area and have recently retired. True, this area doesn't look like the area did, when I was a kid and since I worked in the technical field, I was in a real minority. So I've worked with many people of color and don't have a problem with that, or the religion, or culture they come from. That said, they are individuals and have faults like everyone else. Often, there is an automatic victimhood or racists assumption, that will get thrown in your face, but with a little thought and practice that's easy to foil, without being apologetic, since you should NEVER be apologetic, if there is no reason to be.

I used to work in the international admission department in colleges. What frustrated me was, there's no system to report applicants when they submitted fradulent documents for admissions. Once they get an admisson letter, they can apply for a study permit. I rejected quite a few applicants with fake docs while I was working, but they might have been accepted somewhere else.

I came as student in 2013 I am now Canadian from past 5 years. I just want to mention government is to blame for They earned so much money from international students. I studied with Ukrainian Chinese Mexican and Russian students . They weren't good in English as well But they all worked very hard and very dedicated. Initially it was difficult find job they asked young students for Canadian experience which obviously none of the students had Ircc is laziest department. Even college cares about fees only. Speaking as a black immigrant. Brampton is the first place and only thus far where I have experienced racism. It was the worst 2 years of living here...high car insurance cause they keep meeting in accidents...deliberately and by accident. They are nasty. Don't follow rules. My only problem with immigrants is that when you are in another country, you should conform to that country not try to make it a replica of your former country. Many don't even want to learn the language.
