Interestingly enough, the clip where the girl is complaining about having the rent increased by $7000 is not Trudeau's fault (Liberal government) but Doug Ford's, who's Conservative and the premier (like a governor in the US) of Ontario. He removed the limits on rent increases on properties occupied for the first time after Nov 15 2018. So now, if you want make a few more bucks or just kick someone out just jack the rent so they can't afford it and have to leave (usually you can't just end a lease agreement because you want to but not anymore as you can just increase it to whatever you want). Limits exist for a reason unless you're at the top and want to make more without any regard to people that are struggling.\n\nWhat I'm trying to say is that I don't think the Conservatives will do better than the Liberals, they're just different flavours of garbage. We do need real change, unfortunately I don't think it will happen.

My family is immigranted and we all agree. Multiple times when elementary kindergarten kids were walking out of school buses im not lying everyone of them was brown likely indian. just deceived by a new Indian immigrant, and it feels terrible. About 10 days ago, I posted an advertisement for a parking spot rental in front of my apartment condo. I then received a call from someone who said he had just moved here from India and needed a parking spot. I explained that parking spots here are rented on a monthly basis. He said that was fine, but he wanted to first pay only for the days from October 24 to October 31, and then he would pay for the following month. I thought that was acceptable, so I agreed.However, on October 31, he didn’t make the payment as expected. When I asked, he said he would pay on November 1. The next day, when I hadn’t received the payment, I followed up, and he promised to pay the following morning. By noon on November 2, I still hadn’t received the payment, so I messaged him again, but he didn’t respond. It was only later in the evening when he finally replied, saying he no longer needed the parking spot and that I could rent it to someone else. Then i asked how to deal with the rest of the payment of these days for the parking he already used, no reply anymore. At that moment, I really felt deceived. Why so much like getting smart with others?

That old lady is absolutely and outright lying. First off, she stood in lines for hour or days to get her green card? That means she came at a time when immigration was much easier and wanted, to increase gdp and to do the jobs normal Americans didn’t want to. Now, immigration takes forever, many years in fact, because the older republican white generation figured out that they yet again the minority, which has never actually changed. But republicans now use the immigration card because it’s literally their only option, why do you think Trump stopped the bill. He would be losing so much support. Also, for that old Mexican lady to say those things about her own family, tells me, she is not someone who cares for others or may even care at all. She became a racist just like the republicans and her family should be ashamed of her. Lastly, different times of immigration, this time around, those leaving other countries are trying to save their families lives, having to deal with authoritarian dictators, drug cartels and corrupt governments. She may have had some of that, but I doubt it, she just wanted to move here and make a better life for herself, screw her loved ones. She is an abomination and one of the reasons this country has lost itself, if a Mexican immigrant cannot feel sympathy or empathy for those people in a very similar situation than that person has truly been corrupted by the republicans “all about me” mantra.

Im canadian. I know it's a stereotype but people are just so nice in Canada. People do say sorry a lot, thank you, please. Lots of people hold doors for you, strangers love to small talk and are very friendly. It's pretty common that if someone drops their wallet, someone will return it to the owner. This is why I love Canada so much.

I am an EU citizen, moved initially from Romania to Czech republic, where I was for 2 years and then last year I decided to give Germany a try. Given that the SW engineering field that I am part of allows me to live comfortably in most EU countries, I am planning to relocate back to CZ or Romania within max 2 years. I was pretty much shocked to find out that compared to the costs, the salary isn't all that great vs living in a bigger Romanian city and that it's a complete downgrade vs Czech Republic, and I'm saying this as someone who lived in Prague of all places. \nOverall, salary aside, everything has been a downgrade for me vs Romania and significantly worse vs Czech Republic. \nI guess nationalist germans will be happy to hear this, one less immigrant willing to stay here and convincing others at the same skill tier to try any other EU country(minus bulgaria and austria).

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

This is the same issue with countries with aging population. They don't need the people. They need high skilled Cheap labor and someone to pay taxes. Then they will blame everything on immigration. They will make things harder to get, isolate you and say you don't want to assimilate. This is the system. They need you but they want you to believe they are doing you a favor. This is the game

Everyone is saying it's not their jurisdiction to build houses, but we all know someone has to do it. Selling houses that look like birdhouses for a million dollars and renting them out for 90% of people's income is unsustainable. The Canada we knew is different now. Provincial conservative governments and city mayors are playing politics with people's lives. The federal government should take a more aggressive approach.\n\nAdditionally, houses are being treated like stock market assets, with bidding wars and corporations holding onto properties instead of people living in them. New apartment developments are sitting empty in cities across Canada, being used as assets to trade. Homes should be for living in, not trading. The government needs to look into this issue more closely.

Letting everything happen right under our noses for past 2 decades, and then saying Oh there was a mistake we need to set things right is not a mature way of handling these educated people, most of whom have Masters degrees under their belts. Why so much hate for educated people, we have land, resources and so many towns which needs people with different skills. Train them free of cost and use them for the betterment of the country, why so much love for only refugees and people who come here illegally and without proper credentials, and not for someone who have submitted 100 documents during visa processing....

Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. Yes anyone that moves out of here is your choice but….there’s no other great country in the world than here. I’m staying here and I think that’s a good thing. You are always dependent on post/letters to get even password reset as it cannot be supplied over email due to GDPR issues. \n3. CCTV’s are installed in the parking lot however when your vehicle gets stolen and want to see the footage from CCTV, you come to know that it was never turned on, was there just to scare off thieves ??\n4. Working in a multi national bank (UK based) where even some colleagues at a senior level do not know how to converse in English. They live in a bubble that speaking English should not be expected from them. \n5. Get a credit card and you will hear the customer service team saying in German that I do not speak English, please call back to check if someone can help you in English ?

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. Same in all Euroe. If you come to Europe illegally, you are welcomed, provided with food, shelter, there are programs to fit you into the society (which I am not saying is bad, but is someone doing something illegal). On the other hand, for a Doctor, that spent 8 years just university education, they put thousands of barriers and we just see the illegals already having an appartment paid by the government while we are making the line to pay for a medical license exam (that I needed to study 8 years to be able to apply for) and in german (that I needed to study another 2-3 years to learn + 1 year specific for medical german). I will not receive a free housing like they do and they will not look for giving me a job like they do.

While I have worked for a company run by Indians and they were great but there are a few Indians who are total Indians who don’t care about their actions! As a truck driver Indians are more and more becoming truck drivers but they don’t respect others! Pooping in urinals using washrooms and leaving them very dirty. Driving erratically just acting like someone else is to clean up behind them! Now Indians working retail and service jobs are great I sooner deal with them than white people! I try to deal with Indians with respect as well as other nationalities saying thank you to people isn’t a bad idea.

Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

Trudeau has taken the Multi out of “Multiculturalism” Canadians and Indians have different values and if we Canadians mention this we are shamed and labeled as racist. I have a few Indian friends and they even say that immigration to Canada from India has gone out of balance. Many Indian people don’t assimilate into western living and many try to find loopholes they can exploit. I don’t like that Sikh men can bring daggers to places like the gym, it makes me feel uncomfortable working out beside someone with a big knife. Indian people wearing a Turban don’t have to wear helmets when riding their motorcycles. If a white Canadian took a big hunting knife into a gym they would be escorted out by the RCMP, and would be ticketed and fined for not wearing a motorcycle helmet. While sitting with one of my Indian friends he mentioned how he would hate to be me, I asked him why, he said as an Indian he can do what he wants and if I say anything I’m shamed and considered a racist. ??

I have to say as a white Canadian i have met some Indian people who are the nicest people but I have also had some that were the worst kind of people personally from my experience it has mostly been those who have come since the pandemic which is due to our government not properly screening people. As for brampton I was going to school and my instructor was Indian and I was surprised when he started bragging about when Indians first arrive in canada that they are taught by there church how to take advantage of the Canadian government systems and legally sue people he literally told me that and i was shocked that he actually bragged about that and thought it was perfectly ok i don't hate him or any Indian people but that kind of thing does happen alot in brampton and it definitely doesn't help Indians in most people's eyes especially when there's some bragging about it .and frankly same with the YouTube videos talking about taking advantage of our food banks not good at all especially when people are relying on them to feed their children.It also doesn't help when someone states there opinion and automatically it is called racist.

If I pay to a mechanic a 100$ and puts that money on the bank. Bank takes intrest, let s say 5%. Saldo is now 95. Than the mechanic pays plumber 95$. Plumber puts that money on the bank.Bank takes intrest 4-5%. Saldo is now 91$. Plumber pays taxi 91$.Taxist puts that money on the bank. Bank takes intrest 5%.You know the continuation. After 25-30 cycles, that 100$ from the beginning is GONE. And someone than says has lack of money. Whole sociaty lacks it. Now you see why.

tried watching this, but the minute someone references Vancouver as their prime example of Canada.... y'know it's gonna be an imbalanced study. Things are absurd up here, but we all know Vancouver and Toronto are extreme examples. From here on in, I say no thank you to your fear mongering, over the top videos.

People like to exaggerate a lot of things that’s going on in people lives, especially if they’re Public figures if someone is coming behind you and then the person comes and tries to close the door. You are going to look back again stop saying older people are confused they’re being cautious. You don’t want to respect them you’re being foolish WAIT WHEN YOU BECOME OLDER you’re a bunch ?
