This is really ridiculous that the Premier of Quebec and Ontario are pretending that this is not happening? Not just towards black comunity, is against brown people, against latinos, and the special of all indigenous and of course against against lgbtq and against anyone that is not white... and this is in a very covert way they will ask people of your minority comunity to harass you and discriminate on you so the white lords are not going to be blamed of discrimination and harassment... but behind of all this is always a white person either a man or a woman pretending that they don’t know but they are actively engaging in constantly attacking and diminishing minorities

And everyone has a right to their belief's!! But i'm all for take care of your own before anyone else!! White, Black or Brown! If you're American, you come first!!!

I’m convinced people don’t know what systemic racism is. Systemic racism means there are policies in place in our system to prevent blacks or browns from achieving their goals are getting to the upper echelon of work

Shoppers Drug Mart employees are the absolute worst in my experience for racial profiling. They opened a new store so had hardly any customers, I was shopping for painkillers where there are numerous drug types, brands, strengths (mg), styles (capsules, gel cap, tablets), amounts and prices - all in small writing which takes quite a bit of time to disseminate and decide upon especially when your eyesight is poor as mine is. After a while I looked up and noticed a security guard standing in the aisle watching me. I was shocked and confronted him, asking if he was watching me, to which he quickly denied and left. Was so disturbed I quickly left the store without buying anything and refused to return to that location. Another time I was shopping for an eyebrow pencil where the colour name was printed again in small letters so was spending time to find the one I wanted amongst all the different browns. After I had chosen and started to walk past their counter, their staff member stood with her arms folded shaking her head. This was very alarming as I had shopped in that store since it had opened! So after effectively being accused of shoplifting a $3 eyebrow pencil for no reason other than being black, at the cash line, a white guy sprints out the door carrying a $50 box of diapers! Whatever they are selling at Shoppers or anywhere else is not worth my freedom. They have no right to profile me when it is never going to be me stealing. There are many, many black people who just do not do those kinds of things. We are not all criminals. I have worked in lots of stores and the majority of people stealing are the majority of people in Canada - the white people. Stop living on stereotypes, Shoppers Drug Mart and don't pooh-pooh people's experiences when they call and complain!

I’m brown and I completely agree that racism is bad in Canada. I have heard n-words towards black people with the hard r, racism towards me, east asians, etc. High school was hell for me and the blatant racism continues with various friends and family. It was always overlooked and Ive been followed and pulled over by RCMP for no reason. RACISM EXISTS IN CANADA AND I LIVED WITH IT MY WHOLE LIFE AND IM ONLY IN MY EARLY 20S\nStats back it up as well. I'm a Canadian who has spent time living in other countries and cultures. I've experienced racism both for my race and for other races - this subject has clear storylines in North America, a peaceful world demands we eliminate racism, that means all racism regardless of race. Regardless of skin color. Racism exists equally from black and brown towards caucasian, it's systematic racism by class or wealth that I believe needs healing.

No offens but the original people of North American are brown people and we all came from Africa and as time pass and people moved doesn't mean you can forget the people that call this land home and you ripped away and stole my people from Africa to do your labor without paying us so next time you tell someone to go back to there Countries why don't you listen to your own advise. What I mean by that is most of the job's are given to Brown people as they do better work for less money because they are not privileged and do the best work this is the fault of not black or white

I find it to be swept under the carpet as far as racism is concerned, they smile in front of you but behind you they Stab you in the back .well the Americans is right up front I can work with you but I won’t socialize with you, at least you’re truthful.\n\n I find Canadians to be very two face , Hidden they true feeling and pretend a lot . If a store owner can see that most of the shoplifters are black or brown. That store owner are most likely to suspect black and brown people.\n\nIf a black man/woman is being harrased by mostly white people, he/she will gradually suspect that most or all white people are racists.\n\n That trend is really common throughout the world.\n\nIt's just that simple. I'm %100 European (Scottish, French, British, Irish, Welsh and Scandinavian. Black couple here...montreal is the WORST. We got treated like second class citizens there...almost hit by a whit guy. Menu thrown at us by a white woman....followed in a few stores ...never again. Well, black and brown people in America and brown Muslims in Europe are heavily overrepresented in crime, especially violent and property ones, per capita. It is just a fact. It would thus make sense to focus loss prevention and police resources to groups where there is more likely for a crime to occur.

Being a asian ,i am 6 feet 3 inch with fair complexion and sharp features ( aqualine nose ,dark brown eyes , black hairs) i don't look like a white, but certainly fits in the broad definition of term caucasian, i have never faced any kind of discrimination from any white guy/ girl

Black people do not steal more than white people! If the only people you are watching is black and brown people of course that is the only people you will catch. I had a white friend that worked at a Walmart and she said she caught way more white people stealing than blacks but management did not call the police over half the time and let the person go. But for the black people that were caught the police was called every time. I have even seen it myself when the sales person clearly saw the makeup in this white girls pocket, I know she saw it because I silently pointed it out to her and she just walked away. This happens all the time, but white people thinks black and brown people just like to make things up.
