Our poor border guards, they are being overworked and overwhelmed. I’m sure someone from this administration is advising them on what they can do about getting in illegally.

I'm American, born and raised I'm homeless , living basement of my brother house , can't work fell off a roof broke leg and foot , I can't get no help from my own government, why do illegal immigrants get help but not us

And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. Their allegiance is to the large corporations that just want to drive down competition and raise their profit margins. They don’t care about America. They want a global economic system in which we have to compete with people that are willing to do the same work as us for a little less because they don’t have to pay what we have to pay and they go back to their countries and live like kings where our dollar buys a lot. They literally use their influence and corruption to take down Trump‘s administration because he was actually doing something about America’s problems. What a damn shame it’s time to change the system. If you’re not voting for a Bernie Sanders or Trump you might as well not voted off because you will get no change. Frankly, I think Bernie Sanders is a terrible choice, but it beats Joe Biden, because at least Bernie Sanders does care. Trump 4 more years!!!!

It’s crazy all these people want to come to America and live under this oppressive regime . in a few years, I’m probably gonna want to go to South America to get away from the dictator in charge.

I have a fix to all this. Make every American that came from a legit system, and grand parents, and parents who came legally back 4 generations count only and offspring.. No Tno anchor babies allowed from anyone who came illegally past 4 generations, record department can validate all this. All natural born and maybe been legally also count. Ok, everyone mentioned get mandated to wear a tamper proof wristband linked to ownership and picked up from the DMV and the bands are electronically active for six months, if cut it sends a signal RFID signal for warranted arrest. Everyone with a band can go to work, shop, travel and it's only temporary for 6 months then gets legally removed. All illegals can register on the way out and need grabbed to cube back through the front door if they have no violent or theft charges or rape/assault felonies. Temp residents/work Visas get a band too. Bring in NATO and our military to start operation clean sweep, we offer bus rides back and ditched air flights back to what ever country you can't from, the sweep comes from N.S.E.W. circling in..if caught after having a chance to leave and didn't you will have a index finger on left hand cut off as a marker for being a invader to our homeland along with a RFID microchip embedded into the wrist bone, the chip will signal in the future if you even get with in 500 miles to border and all airports coming into America. Solar drones charge and patrol the border in drives 24/7. All who participated can get in line to come back as long as clean record mentioned prior. Finish the wall using 9 billion dollars we save each year by removing All illegal from our prisons and send them back chipped and marked by missing finger...THIS IS THE ONLY ONLY ONLY WAY TO EVER CLEAN AMERICA UP!!!!! How much more are we going to be slapped in the face as Americans? We the people could go down to the border on our free time and run these assholes off our front lawn. I’m Lebanese , i applied for work permit 1.5 year ago, got approved a month ago and got my visa 2 weeks ago( for Edmonton, Alberta). My hourly wage is 16.46$ before tax. I’ve calculated my cost of living ( rent, food, transportation, etc.. ) It was acceptable back then . When i applied earlier , it was my dream to come to canada. I’ve struggled a lot to get the visa and I’ve booked a flight that was supposed to be next week , but honestly things have differ from when I’ve applied. I used to see affordable housing and cost of living, not anymore. Things have changed there, from cost to living to rents to increased crime rate ( it’s even higher and more tragical than Lebanon itself in his worst current situation) and so on and so forth. I’ve literally canceled everything and I’m not even regretting my decision.\n\nWorking on a slight above minimum wage, in a weather that’s -20+ for long months just to be in ‘CANADA’ and live from paycheck to paycheck isn’t going to seduce me honestly.

It's about time we don't have the money, we have a health care shortage. We can't keep letting able body Citizens whether born here or not live off Welfare going back generations. No one's screening the people who have already crossed over then once they get Citizenship they can bring all there relatives here is ridiculous enough is enough. I mean, isn't this clear cut in most countries? Illegal migrants should be sent back right away. To deter this, second time maybe 2 weeks in jail, then deport.\nI'm sorry but we spent about 7 years getting to be residents and then citizens. We had to go through interviews, in depth medical tests/hostory, financial and education or skilled trade scrutiny, so we are a net benefit to Canadian society. Some also spend tens of thousands, sometimes their life savings, on the fees and paperwork, which also takes years.\nRefugees from war, etc are different, but if you just feel like it's a better life and opportunity, there are official channels to apply to be a permanent resident.

I’m Colombian and it’s sad to see people from my country lying to the authorities to get documentation. \nI know everyone wants a better life and definitely my country is not the best place for low /middle income families; however, we should understand that US or Canada have no obligations to legalize anyone. There are already so many problems to handle in their territories and with their citizens.

WE need to keep these people out. I'm in NJ and seeing this mob storm our country IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. We don't need a wall, we need an army or armed personel to keep them out - they attempt to enter at the peril of being shot out. They travel many days because they know they can just run in. As far as the 'I can't live in my country, the cartels will kill me', you need to go back home and learn a better way to deal with the cartels than running from them. I'm sick of hearing people from my country(Colombia) saying that they are looking to get there because of guerrillas or war. People who suffer from those issues in my country are barely making to our own cities, not other countries. Be honest and tell the officers that you want better opportunities and money, not BS about the country you are leaving behind.

I've lived in both. Canada is a better place to raise your family for sure, and as a society I think it's a better place to live. It's cleaner, safer, and more diverse (and I'm talking real diversity like Aba mentioned, not segregation). There's some cool stuff about the States, don't get me wrong, but my girlfriend (who is American and has visited Canada with me) and I are strongly contemplating moving to Canada. The US has a better night life culture generally speaking and like Aba said there's more to do, but generally speaking I just want a peaceful and simple life.

Send them back. I came to canada in 2017 as an international student, paid shit tons of money for housing, tuition fees. Worked full time after graduation,yet my immigration process is taking long. Evey step I took went through proper screening, and yet it's taking forever. Send them back. At this point theres no gurantee for people like me to get permanent residence over here. With all the back logs etc. So why should they be granted status, while my work permit expires in 6 months and immigration officers wont bother to answer my phone calls for extension. I have paid my taxes, I have obeyed the law. I'm a law abiding citizen. At this point, I'm even thinking of going back. This country wants new talents and more people to add to their workforce. But if they treat people like me like this. Then we might as well go back.

I'm all for people coming here to Canada, as long as they get a job, pay their taxes and keep their noses clean. Priority should be given to anyone with specialized training like doctors and trades. Honestly just about every doctor I've ever seen was originally from India or was Asian. I just don't want to have a translator to understand them, we need more people like that with some kind of education and training.

We can all have our own factories and business and exploit cheap labor flocking to our Great Country. Thanks….but I’m leaving Canada. Found a great little place to live on the other side of the planet…..with no snow. And no homeless or drug addicts living on the streets. The government there does not subsidize homelessness and drug addiction like Canada does.\n Remember…..that which you subsidize….you will get more of.

I have so much to say. I'm afraid of sounding racist. I dont like it. Dealing with this right now! There has been an influx in my town. Now there isnt housing left when we were fine before. My children are being slighted when they could be celebrating their 1st apartment. My interaction has been poor with a few of these people. Impossible to communicate. Very awkward having an 8 yo translate. Many want to move into nice neighborhoods but never follow the city code enforcement or rules. Then hide behind don't speak English! I'm all for helping people when they are in fear for their life. But a lot of these people are traveling through like 4 perfectly good countries to get to the U.S because that's their choice but When you are seeking asylum you should have to pick the 1st country that you get to that is safe and they didn't do that they came to the states because that's where they wanted to go. And that's just not right. They are taking away tax payer funds that were set aside to help other people in need that now has to be diverted to help them.

How about this one I was born and raised in Canada I’m 80 years old and have no family Dr I tried for years to get one I finally got one when I ended up in hospital and a kind nurse got me one who went on maternity leave and didn’t come back I asked if someone else could take me I was told no and yet they were new doctors they I came to the conclusion I was the wrong colour for the place !!! I’m white I guess I will have to get me one of those race card that are played by so many in this once great country Canada !!!! Just Saying
