If you have rent control it still is a good city on the whole. I pay $963 for a large 1 bedroom with a balcony in South Etobicoke. 24 hour transit is outside my door. However I have had the place for 12 years now. if you find a rent control apt. dont give it up, thats my advice. Sub lease it discretely when you want to travel. In New York City people scour obituaries for people who die in rent control units and then bribe landlords for the place. Thats the new reality in cities like these. However Toronto is still a city with alot of up side. and on the whole safer than cities of similar size like Chicago.

I am a born and proud Roman Catholic and love your videos. In Cape Town South Africa Christians and Muslims live in harmony and in most families there will be one or the other denomination in a family. I grew up in a neighbourhood where the call for prayer from the local Mosque could be heard. It was all part of growing up. Our Church Bells rang as well. Everyone accepted it. Of course there will always be grumpies in some areas, very few I may add who complain but they are shutdown by the rest of the community. We too have Malls with prayer rooms. Our private hospitals have a prayer room for all denominations with a mat for Muslim patients. Yes our country might have a bad reputation for the usual world wide issues but in Cape Town we continue our lives at our own pace. May the God Almighty Bless you on your new adventure.

If you flip the coin, it's very interesting to hear stories from expats of Eastern European decent living in Canada - And they're all desperate to return back to their country of origin because they say Canada is saturated with many migrants from the Far-East (China) South-East Asia (India & Pakistan) and Africa. They say they feel lost in all that. Some of these have applied for working visa's to the U.S. It seems every group of the human race has their own agenda for wanting to relocate to other places, mainly for comfort and security.

Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about. Egypt seems to be a pretty good place I have family that live in Egypt and they really liked it but I'm sure you guys will pick a place that's wonderful for your family and I can't wait till you guys know when we can see everything that you guys are doing in your new home Korean and I totally understand I am so upset the United States took the stand that they did with the genocide in Gaza and in the occupied West bank. People don't understand exactly what's going on there they don't know if they're not really up on current events and don't have any people in their family who are from a Muslim country they don't really know what's been going on. South Africa. Not a Muslim country but you can freely practice Islam. Mosques all over with athaan being called out loud. Salaah facilities almost everywhere including malls. Halaal food and meat found everwhere and is easily accessible. The muslim communities are very welcoming as well. And South Africans are very freindly.Many islamic schools and after programmes and most importantly we don't support Isreal. We are in full support of a free Palestine. Our winters are for about 4 months of the year and not as bad as Canada( i think) and the summers are great. We might be at the bottom of Africa but we have eveything and anything you can think of. Come to South Africa, it's not perfect here, we do have lots of problems but you will hear your 5 times a day azaan, islaam is strong, our madressahs are tops, hijab is never a problem.\nWe have the best constitution in the world. \n\nI'm shocked when I hear about a simple thing like hijab that we wear freely and in the workplace if you so wish.

(I hope you read this)\nOkay i have a few suggestions, having lived my whole childhood in Oman i can confirm it’s a beautiful place but Arab country's higher education(college wise) is not that great therefore ,my family moved to India(our roots are Indian) because this being a reason. (Like a lot of families move from gulf countries to their south asian countries for college,having personally experienced as well as my cousins who lived in Jeddah and loads of other relatives)\n1. So pls look for muslim countries that offer good education otherwise you will have to send them again to UK USA Canada for good college.\n2. Abu Dhabi can be a option as well\n3. Saudi Arabia\n4.Qatar\n5. Turkey\n6. Schooling works differently in gulf countries, for example you have Indian schools that run on the CBSE pattern of India, Pakistani schools, Sri Lankan schools, International School with a British curriculum, International schools with American style curriculum, proper Native schools of that country that teach in Arabic.( Again this my experience in Oman, my cousins in Jeddah went to Indian school of Jeddah, so pls wisely choose the school that you want your children to attend)\n\n(this comment is just an opinion, hope it helps. Allowing foreign buyers to purchase houses while NOT living in Canada was the trigger that started all this. Canada receives WAY TOO MANY immigrants per year. The system cant adjusts fast enough. This drive the demand for housing and for rents. \nCanada needs to close access to land/house to foreign buyers, stop investment visa, and cease immigration for a few years until the system catches up to the demand.\nY'all leave Canada and won't ever give up your Canadian passport in case things go south in your new country (also visa privilege).

I am a convert of two years and have found myself flourishing as a Muslim here since I joined. There will be struggles and adjustments, no cap, but I love this community with my very soul. Shakyh Al-Ninowy has a campus in Canada but Atlanta is the headquarters. In my hometown, halal businesses and Muslim environments have grown. And there are programs here that can prove very beneficial for your children Insha'Allah. And if you need someone to introduce you, myself and the Madina family will welcome you with open arms Insha'Allah. And if not Atlanta, Madina has other campuses in the US (Milwaukee & Little Rock). We also have campuses in South Africa, Malaysia, India, UK, and Norway.

I am Indonesian living in ALberta for almost 15years, planning to move back to Indonesian soon. I would suggest to South East Asia and settle in any of these option Malaysia or Indonesia, or other option would be Turkey. I Especially if you like variety of landscape, nature choose those places. Very safe to live and cheap cost of living. Well I wont pick DUbai to live, especially \nwesternisation there is so obvious (many people from UK, US move there) and UAE are not really pro Palestinians in general. I dont even put Dubai as place to visit too much structures, not offering any natural place to see.

South Africa . Diversity with lots of tolerance. Lovely people. . Nice weather. Great outdoor life. Muslim communities and mosques and madressas.

Come to Cape Town, South Africa in sha Allah. Sure, it's not perfect but there are many positives like climate, culture and Muslim community. Also, despite issues with our government they are and have always been supporters of Palestine. Lynn just watched this video ,great content, i came across it after a friend of mine with a good job in kenya asked me if i had any links there, i am Jamaican, i actually established a business in Nairobi Kenya,which i moved from Jamaica which started in the UK, i told my friend i did have links but he would not be able to take the Cold weather, look Lynn the answer for me is if your KENYAN Government opened the doors to the Diaspora to come to Kenya from the Carribean ,USA and South America , we would bring our wealth and skills which are higher,no disrespect, yes there are intellectuals in Kenya, but they realise when they work in places like Canada that they are learning more, we as black Diasporans already had a head start when it comes to that , because we have been in those countries since Slavery unfortunately,but we took the knowledge anyway, if we came to Kenya and other African countries,not only would jobs be created for kenyans and such like but your living standards and economy would improve,its a no brainer, please do i video on this subject,?keep up the good work, nuff respect

Maybe Cape Town, South Africa. You can still speak English here, we've got loads of Mosques everywhere. You can wear Muslim clothing, you will hear the Athaan in almost every community. The food is really amazing and more.

South Africa is a great place for us. There are many people who wear hijab, there are mosques in all the major cities and in some rural towns too. The cities are muliticultural, there are diverse options for halal food. There are plenty of great schools, including islamic schools and there are plenty of madrassahs. Malls in the big cities have salaah rooms. \nThere is a large diverse muslim community. ❤

I would suggest South Africa except that the crime rate is too high here.
