Canada is finished

I moved to Saskatchewan in 2009 and called it home since then. I was born and raised in the Philippines, the cost of living doesn't help I have friends who moved back already. It was a different Canada back in 2009 there are more homeless people now unfortunately thanks for sharing your story.

Canada os still way better than the USA. Count your blessings. At least you have French Canada to run to if ypu want a traditional western eurocentric culture. In the USA the ambiance is very third world. At least in NYC that is it feels very third world.

Canada isn’t a free country compared to the United States where we still have freedom of all speech and the right to bear arms. If the United States goes any further left I will leave. Might be by the end of the year.

I can recommend you to reside in one of EU countries. It is far more convenient and proper to maintain the living circumstances and standards. A part of the domestic inhabitants and people have also abandoned Canada due to the cost of living, paying substantial amount of taxes and healthcare segment. Im a surgeon. I came to canada as a refugee child I wouldnt be a surgeon today had it not been for welfare, social supports, affordable apartments for our family, free and excellent public schools, loans/scholarship/ bursaries and access to the best universities for education, and then loans again for medical school/residency. I pay about between 300-500K in taxes a year. I am paying back a lot more than my family received in direct social services, but its worth it for the life that this beautiful country provided my family and I. I hope the taxes I pay will benefit current and future Canadians. Our system is not perfect. if it was good enough to help raise my ESL refugee rear up to where I am today, the social support blanket is better than most places. GL on your move. I wont be moving anywhere any time soon.

I am asian guy. It's been 32 years in Canada and I never had a girlfriend in Canada ?. Now I gave up meeting someone in Canada. Feeling lonely though at times, but I think Canada is still a good country to live. Definitely more opportunities here than places like Argentina, South Korea, etc. I go to Walmart to save money on groceries. Problem is I do feel lonely here, so in the future maybe I will try South East Asia to meet a girlfriend when I am older ?

Landlord and Tenant court is a joke. This country is a banana republic and has been for a long time. Learn to rip people off including the government if you want to live a good life in Canada. If you are a rapist, thug, steal even the courts will protect you. Stop wasting your time going to school and start learning how to steal from others.

I've lived in Canada for 52 years now and I can say that Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world despite our current incompetent federal government and not because of it. We shouldn't settle for what Canada has become but strive to restore the previous status of our great nation.

The power of our canadian passport is regressing. During COVID I had to use my Mexican passport to enter Korea as they weren't letting Canadians in due to a small political spat, I get e-visa when entering Egypt which Canadians don't get and about 6 months ago I had to apply for an Indian visa using my Mexican passport again because India blocked Canadians from applying. This was understandable as Canada had a diplomatic spat with India but it was NOT understandable that we didn't block off Indian visa applications at the same time. We are essentially letting others walk all over us. also the embassy services for Canadians are absolutely god damn terrible and feels like I have to beg them to actually do their damn job.

Hi Alina, I'm a student who moved here for higher education in Canada from Srilanka.I'm a fan who watch your videos intrestly.I agree, what you are saying. So far as an international student i have observed many things in Canada. There are pros and cons in my experience. However, Canada is a great place to live and I hope all the negativity happens in Canada right now will solve very soon and hope most of these problems will solve very soon.

Canada is one of the most countries as Australia or America welcome to the new migrants. However, high inflation over the growth of the wages changed everything nowadays.

Canadian here. Trudeau is a diaster. He's letting in 1.4 MILLION migrants every year into a country of 40 million, population is exploding, housing is nonexistent, healthcare has collapsed and its overcrowded and homelessness has exploded. Trudeau has turned Canada into a third world country. It's literally India now. And Canadians have been sold out. Canada is over. Trudeau has destroyed it completely and turned into New Mumbai. I'm ashamed of what has become of Canada. Our quality of life has nosedived under the Canadian version of Maduro.

Get them out of here, they totally disrespect our rules and we don't have the infrastructure for this.... People cannot wait to move here from other countries. But it's not because we are getting better, it's because there countries are getting worse. It's hard for someone from Canada to see it get poorer, it's a really sad situation. I'm moving 6 months out of the year to another country, just to get away from it all.

You have to have travelled a lot of countries before you can appreciate how good Canada is. Ive been away for 3 yrs now in some 10 different countries have to say Canada is still my favourite if I was a younger person , hungry and motivated to succeed. It just didnt suit me anymore with a family lifestyle and travel , that I moved overseas. I knew grass wasnt always gonna be greener , its all about the tradeoff. It didnt suit me anymore at this point in time, but it was for 40 years, thats a double lifetime for some. Like you said , Im glad of what Canada has me me become and taught me everything that I know in life.
