It's a two way scheme. You'd have some get to Canada via the US & some who want to get into the US find an easoer way into Canada then sneak across the border

I've got some even more bad news for you Cash. Our government up here in Canada, has been importing military age couples posing as interior decorators, from China, to the tune of 200,000 a year. This has been going on since 2017 or so. Good natured Canadians believe that these are just people seeking better opportunities for themselves but, since when has any communist country simply allowed thousands of young couples to just leave, because they wanted to? I believe that these immigrants are being sent so that China can pre-position their military units, for the coming battle with the U.S. They have already amassed about a million soldiers up here, waiting for their marching orders. Call me paranoid if you like but, we saw something similar to this in West Germany during the Cold War. Thousands of STASI agents were successfully sluiced in, in a similar way. Remember the population of China is 2 billion or so!

As for the Canada aspect... Canada does take in asylum seekers and refugees too. The only ones who would travel to Canada and then to the US either already have family in the US, a job lined up or they need to pay back the people who financed their trip.

The problem with this rant is that the flow of immigrants was going the other way for years and Canada asked nicely many time for NY to do something about the immigrants coming from there and crossing into Canada! Those requests fell on deaf ears! So Canada changed it's laws slightly and now all the immigrants that get stuck in Canada during the cold season are now flocking back to the warm United States of North America and Oceana. Strangely I know Germans who emigrated to Canada recently and who love to live there now. So for outsiders the situations looks way brighter than from the inside. It is the same in Germany though. People are so dissatisfied even though they are living the dream compared to 80% of the world population.

You are free to believe what you want but you cannot have the full idea of what's going on in a place until you live there for a while. And yes, your all the problems that you stated are true. But right now what would be much more appreciative is talking about the solution which nobody is talking. So it's easy to sit there in Australia and say that oh there's this problem in Canada and that problem in Canada. But you are only experiencing it and witnessing it through a screen. You don't know what's going on here and all of the things with the housing crisis. Moved here recently. My friend in Canada mentioned how many immigrants are ruining the place. We moved here for a better future, to work and provide a stable future for future generations, to contribute to the economy. It's sad that those who are given the opportunity to immigrate, rather trash the country than appreciating the environment, and contributing to society in some way.

Canada and U.S. are almost the same, high rate of taxes/cost of living/rent, etc. but anyone who wants more opportunity for their children, just have to be patient especially for new immigrants because when I immigrated here in the U.S. way back on 1979, I had my family with me, my wife (pregnant) and 4-daughters, ages 8, 6, 4, 2 that even I am a civil engineer and a Captain with the PA, worked in Saudi Arabia for 1 year, I started working as a security guard, then draftsman, engineering associate, manufacturing operator, etc. and now retired with my children & grandchildren enjoying their lives, have good jobs.

Before watching the videos i can say why you’d move away from Canada is Trudeau and the plethora of problems hes created, lack of self defence rights, excessively high tax rates, especially considering how little public infrastructure we have , high cost of living in almost every way, and just because of the embarrassment of what the country has become in the last 8 years of radical liberal policy.

Just wanna present some of my views on this topic, as a indian living in Canada, a lot of points in this discussion are pretty valid. Although, the hate is also in my opinion a little misdirected.\n\nInternational students pay three, maybe even five times as much as domestic students in terms of tuition fees, and while I 100% agree that not everybody even deserves to stay here, a major portion of fault is on government. If you want to make an argument, that government or the country in general never promise the residency status in Canada, then regulate the tuition fees, make it manageable for everyone.\n\nIf you don't want to do that, fair enough, then provide opportunities, there 100% are bad apples in the population, I will not deny that! But you called them, you took the responsibility, you promised the opportunities and students paid for it. Now you hate us for that, either build the bridge both ways or don't hate.\n\nI am genuinely more frustrated with the system rather than immigrants, it is becoming a widespread trend to hate immigrants but I believe the government is just as much at a fault. If you think I am wrong, I would to hear your views on the topic, it is a pretty complex one, just be respectful.

hey from BC, Canada, and welcome to the farthest and coldest reaches of the North. there are good and bad places in Canada too, though compared to places in the States make it look tamer. i do envy some things in the States like entertainment. i have a friend that lives in Cleveland, Ohio and he went to a Cavaliers game for $20. in Canada, that might get you parking and a ticket to the Raptors was like $130-160 for nosebleed seats. quite a difference. (edit: air travel or telecoms/internet is super expensive since companies here don't like competition and the government is kind of gutless to make a fair price for things like the States does. Canada telecoms say because things are too spread out so things are expensive, but Australia is even more spread out than Canada and they have way cheaper prices of internet and telecoms)

The thing about rent and living cost, we're earning Canadian dollars and being taxed Canadian taxes, that lowers our incomes in a way that makes those rents harder to pay.\n\nMontréal isn't a fair picture for all of canada because Quebec does things differently than the rest of Canada. It's bad for recent immigrants. But the ones with a Canadian PR or citizenship enjoy a life that is way better than life in India. Canada offers a very high quality of life for it's citizens. Canadian laws, regulations and policies are way too strict and that limits growth. For example, compared to UL standards in USA, CSA standards for products in Canada are stricter.

IF... people have travelled safely all the way through the US to get into Canada, they are NOT under threat in the US. They just want to get into Canada before Trump deports them.

Major chunk of Indian immigrants are from a state in india called Punjab. And most of them belong to Khalistani Ideology which is a violent anti India organisation. So these people if you notice are quite rude, arrogant, and loud in nature. They don't care of other's and will play some loud punjabi music in public places. Most of them are illiterate and have entered canada by some illegal way. They have a big Nexus through which they enter canada by some illegal means. People from non punjab region are in general peaceful and follow local laws. They just want to work there and live a good life.
