I for one am not saying I’m one of those people but I’m just making an observation. I hate when racism gets thrown around because people are insecure and think everything bad or unwarranted that happens to them from a white person is rooted in racism. It’s seems like “it’s racism cuz I decided it was”. Some people are just assholes, or weirdos, and need to be put in their place and labeling EVERYTHING as racism really causes a lot of people to not take things seriously when it IS present.

I am an older white trans woman that prefers to date black men as I just find them more attractive. Here it comes the proverbial but, I sometimes find it hard to not be prejudice. I hate myself for that, but I need to be honest with myself or I could never change to be a better person. That is something I strive for everyday. I don't care how it started but if you did just your job a server you get just the hourly. I wish we had this show in Australia, I'm disabled and have Tasmanian Aboriginal heritage, I must admit I never realised Canadian 1st nations people were referred to as Aboriginal as well, but I found the subtle racism issues are same here with Australian Aboriginals. I did one meet some 1st nation Canadians at an indigenous conference but got so caught up with learning throat singing never really got into the serious issues

I'm trying to find information on weather being black and wealthy in Canada: is it worse or better than American. I'm not really concerned about name calling. In America you can be in serious danger being wealthy and black because of the american perception of wealth, cops tend to harass you unless you involve yourself with the political backing of your town. Western nations seriously should start mandating laws that asylum seekers must apply for asylum in their country of origin, this man is clearly a welfare shopper who has no right what so ever to be in Canada, just another fine example of a broken system that’s being taken advantage off.

I purpose a Commission of Inquiry be created to investigate this issue and present the findings to the people of Canada. It would help identify where reform is needed and help individuals understand this topic. I take this issue seriously.

Seriously, it all depends on who is looking at your file. Canada also has racism, depending on the province. Whoever is looking at your file will determine the success of how many points they give you. And he has to improve his English so he can apply for a better job and get a better work visa. If he earns enough, he gets more points and will likely be able to stay.

In my humble opinion, political over-correctness might be a bigger problem to Canada and most countries. Political correctness reminds people that some real bad things happened in the history and we shall not forget it and we intentionally do thing differently to correct it. However political over-correctness is poisonous to free expression making people somehow hypocrite which doesn't help for a better world because you don't even know what problems are and how serious they are.

Just because the USA is worse, doesnt mean we are innocent, or have no culpability in the historical oppression and displacement of indigenous communities. Theres so many tropes and slogans about change, but this is devolving into idol worship of vague ideas, without serious and radical reorganization of the system that drags its feet in addressing the inequity that exists. Its not an issue of colour, its an issue of access to opportunity.

Lets all face the reality. Racial profiling works especially when you're talking about security and safety. The police do it, the FBI, CIA, military, even those store security department. Though they wont openly admit it but they do it. It's a serious part of their operations. They do it because it works. They do better job on protecting the population because of racial profiling. How about for the producer of this video interview or make a research on those groups that really do racial profiling.

Furthermore, while Canada is perceived as friendly, when it comes to cities, those in the Southern US consistently rank among the world's friendliest and most polite. Many, of course, can be violent. Also, are you serious about the shared tipping culture? And the bit on service? Your vid was solid and magnanimous, but on those points you missed the mark. Badly.

Eliminate duel citizenship and this problem will go away. If you want to immigrate to Canada you must relinquish any previous citizenship. That would eliminate the possibility of these people moving back to China which means they wouldn't move here in the first place unless they were serious about being Canadian citizens and not just doing it for profit and access to Canadian real estate, social programs and future pensions for family.

If that kind of data government is going to save with the profile of me and other citizens I am totally with the government because it is a serious problem

when i was looking at college back in the late '70's, i was seriously thinking of crossing the st lawrence and save a bundle by attending mcgill. drexel won me over with their co-op program but i still think i'd would had been better off going to montreal instead.
