I hope indians will reflect of what they're doing, like indian students, i see some of them don't pay on the bus, i had experienced when we were waiting in line in bus station, i see them cutting line, they were lucky because Canadians are polite, and just let it go, one time an indian male driver parks his car on where the bus pass through in bus station, in tim Hortons most of the time they give us the wrong order, and i always had a stomach Ache when i eat at tims, but i never had problems when i order from other coffee shops, only at tims, and in our neighborhood they throw their garbage on the side of train rails, and it was clean before the indian immigrants move in in our neighborhood? Why do I have to compete for jobs and working hours with citizens of India? I have a friend who works at walmart, she is Canadian and they only give her part time hours, the manager is Indian and gives priority of working hours to some one who has a work permit and has been in the country for less than 5 months. They are not a citizen or PR, we dont owe them any thing, they are no longer needed and should be sent back, and if they protest should be deported, protesting is a citizens right.

As a born and raised Canadian I do feel embarrassed and frustrated when I see people from my race acting like fucking idiots because I know it’s going to lead to people viewing and potentially treating me worse, perhaps even just subconsciously. As they say we wear our race on our face and since humans are pattern recognition machines, chances are people will just take one glance at me to form their assumptions based on the behaviour of these fucking idiots. \n\nNow I’ve also seen people from other races act like imbeciles in Canada too, that very much includes white people. In fact I mostly see white people being weird or crazy in public. However the key difference is that there’s so many more Indians pouring in now.

The people coming from India in the last 4-5 years does not behave like indians. They are very different. To say it politely. No sense of courtesy. No sense of customer service. And constantly talking loudly among themselves in hindi or other indian languages. Canada's language is English and French. Its uncomfortable going for a Timmy run nowadays. Also you cannot enjoy a quiet cup of coffee if there are few Indian customers in the coffee shop. Please let others enjoy their coffee in peace. We do not need to hear your loud voices everywhere.

Those from India are like any other immigrants. They're trying to find their way in a new society with different customs and rules. My parents came here in the 50’s from Italy and were discriminated against in the same ways. As first-generation Canadians, my brother and I were discriminated against because of our heritage in school and then in our chosen careers.\n\nIn general, Indians are hard-working, well-educated, English-speaking and entrepreneurial. In general Indians benefit Canadian society.\n\nI became friends and eventually best friends with my neighbour from Punjab. He came here with nothing and became an educator for children with special needs. He had two master's degrees. One from McGill University and one from Cambridge. He was involved in our community at many levels. We spent most evenings discussing life, and society issues and even worked together on a campaign of one of our local councillors and won. He had a positive impact on all who knew him. Unfortunately, he passed in 2012. RIP Rupinder Jeji. You are dearly missed.

It's about culture, Indians by and large don't assimilate. Canada, is not India, it's Canada, we should not see our people or culture washed out. I'd say the same thing if white people flooded India and didn't assimilate. India should be full of Indians, not white people.
