Y’all need to accept the fact that both Canada and the United States are dog shit go somewhere else

I live in Winnipeg for last 5 years now. I can agree with all the problems as stated. I feel India is much more safer than Canada. I know it because a friend of mine was stabbed in stomach with knife because he didn't have any drugs on him.

Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. There is a very serious, very real anti-immigrant (anti-Indian too) sentiment building up here. \n\n7. Lastly, the student protests that you have highlighted here is absolutely ridiculous! These students from India came to Canada under a student visa knowing fully well that they are supposed to go back after the completion of their studies, and now they are DEMANDING that they be issued extensions in work permits and be considered for PR. This is insane! This is because they never intended to return to India in the first place and were abusing the system as a back door entry. They are threatening to go on hunger strikes and what not. Legally, on a student visa, they are NOT allowed to participate in any sort of activism. \n\nNOBODY that comes to our country on a temporary visa (student, tourist etc.) has the right to dictate terms to us and demand that we change our immigration policies based on their preferences. No, that will not happen. \n\nCanada, like every country, has the sole right and privilege to decide who gets to become a permanent resident or a citizen based on our national priorities and strategic interests. I’m also from Canada, everything stated is very true. Education is not that great as compared to what fees we pay, think again before coming. Job currently isn’t available. Part time is also hard. In part time, you will earn to complete your housing and accommodation allowance but will not able to collect for your college fees. Just count it yourself, $17.5 per hour is minimum wage and for 24 hours per week. Also minus taxes from it. If you are planning somewhere near Toronto or Vancouver, please stay way. You can try going New Brunswick either. It’s cheaper as compared.\n\nHowever, did you notice something about all the commonwealth countries, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, etc etc. they all are facing the same problem. So, hold on your horses. Research before going. People do go different countries, might be Japan, and other countries. Don’t ask a barber if I need a haircut, similar don’t ask a consultant if I can go to Canada or Australia. They will always say Yes!

I Lived in Vancouver, Canada for about 8 years and decided to return to India in Aug 2023. I've been happy ever since. All the problems stated in the video are all 100% true, and were the main reasons why I decided to come back. I felt extremely insecure there.

Inspite of this video - students are still going to apply for student permits to Canada because even though your video is true - there are far more more poor people in India than Canada. Until India reduces its population by a massive amount and improves its nominal per capita GDP to at least 10000 USD - this trend will continue for people to move from a developing to developed country. Sad state of affairs.

The blunt truth is that the majority of ostensible international students from India coming into Canada happen to be from the state of Punjab and are Sikhs. The state of Punjab is the educational dregs of India as it is mostly agricultural. What is happening is this influx of so-called students from Punjab are in fact hooligans and come to Canada in the guise of being students. But are in fact here to become permanent residents by hook or by crook. This phenomena is a recent development since 2020-21. Prior to that the students who came to Canada from India were genuine students that is why Canada did not see the problems from so-called international students from India prior to 2020-21. Canada really needs to screen carefully for both academic credentials as well as English language facility. These so-called international students cannot speak basic English. How in the world are they going to actually fare in Canadian post-secondary education let alone at University level. Canada is now facing an influx of these hooligans and they ALL need to be deported back to India.

The States have beautiful ocean beaches. Our east coast ocean beaches is so cold it can kill you.\nAmericans give the best customer service.\n\nMy Dad (Montreal, Canada) receives a small monthly American pension, since he worked a few years in the State back in the 70's. He had an issue with it and asked me to call their customer service. I managed to find the appropriate tel# in 5 minutes. Call and actually spoke with a person who answered our concerns and gave us a solution. I told her they need to come to Canada to train our CRA agents.

Brampton and Surrey near Vancouver have become mini-ethnic enclaves of Indians, especially from the state of Punjab. When I moved into Brampton initially, 10 years back from India, I was shocked that the main language spoken here is Punjabi and not English ! There was nothing Canadian about this suburb anymore, it just looked like an overseas part of Punjab. That's why I moved out of Brampton within a few months. Even Indian immigrants are now appealing to the current government of Canada to stop this mass and unregulated immigration. This has already ruined Canadian culture and society !

I'm a US citizen living in Canada to be with my Canadian citizen husband until we can move to the states, there is no fast track or easy way to get a job while I stay here yet up until recently there were special provisions in the law to allow more immigrants from India faster, why? And if my husband were a permanent resident or here on a work permit, he could easily apply for me to work here, but since he's a citizen he can't? It doesn't make any sense and I can't wait to go back to my country where the people are friendly, wages are double, and the economy isn't collapsing.

most newcomers to any country struggle especially since most are not bringing in wads of cash to start a business but literally scraping in using life savings just to get here - however once here with residential status a national health care and level of income security for unemployment benefits is an added bonus which you won't get in every country regardless of residency status but refugees and others come in with no money at all as well as problems in some cases with language barriers, but as bad as everyone thinks it is the grass is not greener on the other side just because you're paying lower taxes but privatising infrastructure only makes things more expensive even when you're not taxed.... and Canada is a huge country with very limited number of tax payers such a small market would double costs for private business too - and just cos things may be cheaper you may find you don't fit as well as you thought..... and also the more you move the less time you have to settle and grow into the space you find yourself now....I've lived in 3 very different countries so I understand how difficult it is.... and how some places regardless of cost just fit better than others.... I love Toronto... but would not want to live in Vancouver or Texas for very different reasons... and don't judge a city by people who don't know how privileged they are to live in Toronto or anywhere in Canada really they should try living in India or Russia or even South Africa... places may be cheap but the lifestyle isn't worth much as a result of being failed states - even USA is falling apart road by road bridge by bridge.....of course there's hope for all of them eventually.... but if you don't like it it's probably best you leave.... if you don't want Canada why would Canada want you.... your just bringing the nation into disrepute

the real reason behind immigration is to hide the housing market crash behind a veil so that people don’t see what’s comming . all these new immigrants come to canada and the first thing they do is get into debt for school , for a house , and for a car . it’s a business and the government and banks need them coming to hide the real state of the canadian economy . sadly most of these immigrants are taking the bait and going to find out canada is not all sunshine and rainbows .

Canada became a welfare state for non westerners on the backs of taxpayers. Multiculturalism left and now we have two communities entering at an alarming rate. All over Europe they’ve recognized that mass immigration is destroying economies and eroding their cultural by the same communities and electing governments who would preserve their culture and enforce stricter border control, and put their citizens first. \nMeanwhile in Canada, we on an OceanGate sinking and these politicians still focusing on crackerjack policies.

I saw an interview with an immigrant who stated that Canada has no culture. It is simply fragments of cultures from all over the world. That is the problem with multiculturalism. Eventually there is no longer a true sense of national identity, only one of shared citizenship. A passport however does not create a sense of unity. A country with these conditions is not a true nation, it simply becomes an economic zone that is up for grabs by whatever demographic becomes dominate. The end result will only be balkanization.

Western Canadian here. Moved away from the coast last year because of the ideological capture and literally watching the community dissolve and collapse in front of my eyes. Overwhelming drug abuse and a lack of policing or care for the general population. \n\nThe state of this country is sad. Yesterday was Canada Day, our July 4th. Virtually no flags or positive sentiment. One advantage Canada has compared to, say, Australians or New Zealanders, is that they can cross the border and purchase certain things cheaper in the United States (best of both worlds). Almost all Canadians live close to the border.

As some one living in Canada as an international student, I agree with the state of things in Canada as shown in the video. I think immigration in any country should be merit based and sustainable to avoid such things happening.

The government of Canada should develop the suburbs to solve to population which is focused on the capital city of every state and let the suburbs be full of people(immigrants) to keep the balance.

You guys need to consider making your politics less socialist. Quit whining, and move to Alberta or outside Vancouver, or anywhere up north. Lots of jobs, lots of money. Keep bringing in immigrants, have them build, like US is doing. If you do this, you can't lose. Really Canada can't lose in the future. In the event of a global calamity, it's one of only seven 'sancturary' states in the world, and it is by far the largest. Get rid of the carbon tax. You aren't Brunei. Take the long view; If Canada keeps supporting global warming, they can't lose. Be more careful giving away any more northern lands to the Inuit, that land will be very valuable soon.

My wife and I moved to Canada about a decade ago from post-Soviet states, where we both grew up with not much more than our smarts and a strong work ethic. When we arrived, adapting/integrating Canadian values, especially work ethics, was a big deal for us. Those first few years were tough, we really had to hustle to improve our lives. Now, a decade later, we're both in pretty solid tech and science jobs. Our child had the incredible privilege of being born in Canada, and that fills me with immense joy.\n\nIt wasn't just our own grit that got us where we are now; we owe a lot to the incredibly welcoming Canadians we met along the way. I'm thankful every day for the awesome, kind-hearted folks we've met. Canadians are truly some of the best people around, and despite lots and lots of issues, Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world. I know this because I've lived and worked across many countries on many continents . We, Canadians, need to keep working to make it even better. I'm proud to be a Canadian immigrant. People are only mad because of the color of the new immigrants. Don't tell me otherwise because if you do you're full of shit! Immigration numbers per year is around 300,000 and thats even if the PC's are in power. During Covid Canada didn't bring anyone in for obvious reasons. After Covid restrictions we opened immigration back up. Now the PC's are using it as a lets scare the white people in Alberta voting tactic. And of course the unimformed fall for it. California which is one State out of 50 has 40,000,000 people you weirdo's. Don't act like we are the size of PEI.

I am one of the persons(Punjabi and International Student) being talked about in this video. Please allow me to get express some things. \n\nFirst, our homeland was divided into two, one part went to Muslims(Pakistan) and one went to Hindus(India). If we talk about our own state, we are labelled as terrorists. Recently, a 21 year old protester(Google the name Shubhkarman) was shot at by the police and nobody was held accountable. Over 700 people died, in 2021, on the streets of Delhi while protesting for a year to stop corporate buyouts of our agriculture lands(these lands are not 100-200 acre like in West, average land holding by Punjabi farmers is 2.4 acre). Our parents want us to survive, so they send at least one kid to foreign land(Australia, NZ, Canada, US, Dubai, Malaysia, Italy, you name a country).\n\nIndians call us terrorists, westerners call us cheap unskilled labour and some even call us shit skinned, pajeets, diaperheads. \n\nI guess we are just sub-humans who have no rights.

It's time for Canada to deport these people they are the reason that the country is in a housing crisis, a major strain on our already strained health care, the reason Canadian students struggle to find employment, not to mention how difficult it has made it for some canadian university students to have access to the relevant classes because they fill up with foreign students. Im a white Irish woman and It isnt the fault of the Indian population that there are white drug addicted homeless people. Is it me or has the Maga ideals flowed into Canada from the states? I love Indian people, they are kind and polite, they have never ill treated me or my family. Quit being so racists.

Canada has furthered neoliberalism for the past 4 decades and with it has expanded the gap between the rich and poor. This has essentially closed off self-actualization for the many while the few privileged are coddled by selective state socialism. In the meantime (and it is a very mean time for the poor), socialized infrastructure built up over decades has been sold off to private interests and class divisions heightened. It is a shystem that is neither sustainable nor ethical but because neoliberalism furthers ideas of selfishness, most Canadians don't care because they believe the lie that the individual is responsible for twisted economic and poltical policies.

Glad I came across this vid. I'm a PhD candidate and I've decided to go back home when I finish. I'm really appalled at the state of healthcare here. I had to literally beg a doctor for a blood test, something that is so simple to get at home. I have never been so depressed and off balance and I think a lot of it has to do with the weather. I really thought I would like it here, but it's not worth being away from my family for a place like Canada.
