Hi, estimated time of completion of our PR visa process was 30 th of september as per the IRCC visa status.we completed all procedures including giving our biometrics before this time line.what could be the possible reason on why the COPR for me and my family is being delayed? Any idea on when we should expect this COPR? Are these delays quite normal during these pandemic days?

CBSA should release or share the case and personal file (the thousands of active/willing participation) to other friendly countries' immigration department. What happened here in Canada has also occurred in other places; in the worst possible case is the same individual applies for multiple passports in more than one country, especially those that accept dual citizenship.

But that couldn’t have been possible if my family didn’t sacrifice all they had, just to be able to feel safe. It’s not lack of security, it’s lack of compassion and being able to understand what other humans go through. Fear-mongering and generalization of a certain group is atrocious, and should by no means be tolerated. Only through fair evaluation and hard work should a person be judged.

Eliminate duel citizenship and this problem will go away. If you want to immigrate to Canada you must relinquish any previous citizenship. This is so frustrating. I spent twelve years in the apartment industry and went through literally hundreds of hours of Fair Housing Training. I was given test shoppers on numerous occasions, just like every other property manager I knew and I always passed with flying colors because I stuck to a script and said everything the same way, even with the same tone of voice, every time. It didn't matter who was in front of me, my job was more important than anything else and that meant absolutely no possibility of discrimination. Here in the US, management companies and even the individuals onsite can be held monetarily responsible if testers find them to be discriminatory. It is very disappointing to see property staff making such bluntly poor choices. We all know better in that industry. This is the 21st century, we should be beyond this.
