I appreciate your balanced view of the complicated situation. I have met so many Indians who contribute everyday to making Canada an even better place to live. So thank you. I too blame the government for ignoring the social consequences of such a large influx of immigration in too short of a time. But mostly who I blame are the brokers who are scamming hard working and hopeful young people to come over to Canada and are ripping off them and their families. As an Indian , living in India , it might be because Indians are nothing but bunch of idiots extremely proud of their history without having any contributions in it , they always hate the western nations , even in out movies white peoples(termed as gore) as shown and depicted like idiots who don't know how to live and fear almost everything and only an Indian can save them because Indians are the saviors of gore's butt . Here in my little town in Australia's Top End, we have a genuine melting pot. Filipinos, Chinese, Nepalis and the list goes on. After the COVID outbreak, II quit my job and traveled all around the world, including 1yr staying in Toronto. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. Ironically, I’m about to move to the very place you're leaving.???I admire your courage in embracing this new challenge and hope you find a place you'll truly love. I see a lot of comments which are mostly against the international students and are some racist as well. I can understand the pain of Canadian and i am also a canadian now (immigrant), It is a total mess created by the government where government used international students as the cash cow from past 7-8 Years. Its the fault of both sides but the major culprit is the government. I was a also a new immigrant to canada in 2012 and I thanks alot to the open arms welcome for the immigrants by the canadians but when you put a pinch of salt in food its taste good and its was all good until 2015-16. but the government started putting the full carton of salt in small bowl of soup which made the food bitter now not just for the canadian generation but the immigrants which moved to canada before 2016. I hope in the next coming years things will change for canadians. In the last I would, If someone don't wants to welcome me in his home then I should not enter to his home. we should respect that where ever we should go not just canada, it applies to any part of the world and to everyone.

I'm not an Indian but I'm a immigrant in Canada and yes it's true everything that you say but I just want to give one respectful advice to my friend from India. Please use deodorant and at least once a day take a shower because in the bus or at work is very hard for us from other countries and I know is not your fault but we all have to adapt in a country we arrive hope no one gets offended by this but remember that we share the air and we cannot avoid smelling other people. Went through the pathway of studies-work-residency-citizenship\n\nLet me simplify the story for all of you guys here that lacks immigration intel. \n\n1) The quality of migrants you see here is not what Canada needs long term. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

In essence, these people will definitely use this info to prevent this source you've just mentioned. Besides, LMIA employment jobs are not easy to come by, even the visas are rarely approved. Maybe you would have presented it with a topical pidgin, in such a way that will turn them off from having a clue into what you were saying in the video. If you're there to protest and fight for your rights, it makes sense to take advantage of the interview and clearly express what you're fighting for. Ignoring someone who wants to understand your perspective suggests you may have an attitude problem. This could be the reason you're being targeted—because you're unwilling to do something as simple as explaining what you're standing up for. Kudos to the only man who accepted the interview, even while someone was trying to take the mic away from him. In the end, I hope they can find a solution for both our Canadian and Indian brothers and sisters, and that their countries will prosper again, creating more opportunities for them.

That’s excellent hopefully Canada will become Canadian again. As a Punjabi, I’m absolutely disgusted with these new international students. They came here on pretence most of them didn’t even pass the English test they cheated and scammed to get here. They’re not attending colleges and working full-time taking jobs away from Canadian born students, including my own son who applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing. They need to go back after studying what’s deplorable is their sense of entitlement now, I’m so embarrassed by them. I think if PR is granted they should be made to work and areas that require help not already overpopulated areas least 10 years

I am Canadian born and white. I have had many Indian friends for many years. And I love them all dearly. I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world. I would trust them with my life. But I still have to admit that the newer arrivals scare me. That being said. I hope that Saudi Arabia is serious about only normalising relations with Israel AFTER a Palestinian state is established. I would hope they put a lot more conditions in there to ensure that it is a viable state too - which would necessitate removing settlements from the west bank.

I don't hate international students, and I understand that they came here with hopes for a brighter future. But... evidently, we have to face the fact that this is not the same Canada that it was 10 or 5 years ago. This Canada has fallen so bad it cannot even sustain its own citizens, let alone non-citizens. It's tough luck, but they shouldn't have chosen Canada, not with the way it is right now.
