What is the root cause of the divide in the living conditions between Indian newcomers and Canadian born people? Indians rarely get into bad habits like alcohol or drug abuse. Indians can work hard to improve their skillset to cater to the demand of the economy. Maybe born Canadians have taken the system for granted and become entitled, and don't want to put in the hard work to adapt to the changing economy or job needs. Maybe all they do is complain. This video tries to show a bipolar picture which may not be 100% true. Just interviewing the homeless but not well off Canadians betrays the agenda of the presenter.

Your research for healthcare system is not accurate. If we talk about some special cases like gynaecologist you don’t have to wait for such long time as you mentioned in your research in this video……. For common cases u definitely have to wait for it but for sure not for these emergency cases…… and if we talk about life and expenses it will definitely be hard for people who are not educated well, who don’t have any skills.. but if you are well educated and you have skills you can earn as much as you want to….. \n\n\nIf you are well educated and have skills you can afford anything and have best life … And all about drugs even if government made them legal it’s upto you that you are using them or not….. nobody will force you to take them….

Highest internet fees in the world. Months long waits for health care. Taxes on everything, even on used cars, food necessities and gov't checks. No bus or public transportation system between cities and often only one airline to service your flight in many areas outside huge metro centers. Minimum 18% tipping expectations at restaurants with already high prices for what you get. As a Canadian living in Canada for 20 years. This is 100% truth when it comes to Canada's medical care system. Furthermore, the issues with drugs and housing shortage to 100% true. One thing that Canada has for itself is the clean air and nature in national parks ( to get there you will need a car and DL). The other issue that would have mentioned is the house buglery, auto thefts, and gun shoots in schools, that the police in Canada no longer are willing to address. Lastly, it's critical for everyone to comprehend that the government itself knows that it's bad so they started a government sponsored suicide program for being able to get timely medical care. For example after waiting for 3 years for a knee replacement surgery, the doctor left the province and my mom was told that she can opt for medically assisted suicide if the pain was unbearable.

But reality is people who could not secure admission in any college in India , come to Canada thinking life will change here. They end up doing low paying jobs here and then struggle with drugs , homelessness, high rent etc. Study in India if you are capable , or come for reputed MBA and come for jobs. My passport, immigration docs and laptop bag was stolen by a drug addict in Vancouver BC IN oct 2019 . It took me 6 hours to launch my complaint to Vancouver police department , when I went to police station they said it’s 5 PM , we are closing the station please launch your complain online. Indian embassy there helped me get back with a tatkal passport. You might say you can stay out of drugs and enjoy the city life but it affects you every now and then. And when police also is on their side it’s the worst situation to be in.

I been in Canada since age 11 and now 48. It is great to be part of both sides as I m an Indian born but got best of both countries and values. I work for a very large company and I feel I treated fairly and with utmost respect. Fact is Canada was hard for me when I started school from grade 6 to grade 10. I then changed schools and I was not bullied and face racist people. I went to diverse school. So diversity is good. Now my kids grew up here and feels at home but now there so many Indians here and clearly people here are annoyed and racism is become quiet high. I was verbally abused by strangers with racist slurs in the last few months. When I go shopping I been getting picked on by strangers at least 5 to 6 years the last 5 years or so. But now people don’t care and they act more and more racist. Indians sending there kids here should be aware of this. Also kids from India come here and try to do parties and drugs also. This becoming common. There is also many idiots from Punjab also. Many have criminal and drug and alcohol problems and they bring it here. It’s getting quiet messy. The government issues visa without checking peoples background. It’s madness. Stay safe. Canada is good country but the risks are also there now.

When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example. \n\nPregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect. \n\nThe drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs. \n\nThe protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. Those students were not enrolled in any colleges and came to Canada on fake documents. \n\nI agree that Canada is very difficult for immigrants to come and build at this point. This wasnt the case 10 years back. But this is true to only densely populated cities. Everyone wants to go to Toronto and Vancouver so it has made the situation tough in those cities. But there are other provinces and cities that are still easy to settle down and build your life. \n\nCanadian locals being not immigrant friendly is not whole truth. Some % of locals yes they are fed up of too much immigration but do search for videos or news article of Indian students in Brampton fighting and you will get the answer on why some of the Canadian locals are being wary about immigrants now a days. \n\nIt is hard to settle down in Canada yes. For someone who is having a decent salary in India can live a good life in India instead of choosing to struggle. But someone are made to chose the hard path to success.
