Germany is no recommendable for foreigners, at all. They wou;d have to embrace english accepted for international workers, relax the burocracy and solve the shortage of housing. Yes it is a rich country but the system is not made to wellcome foreigners. .German language is ridicoulously full of conservative rules that not even the germans dominate but you are imposed to speak it. Go to an english speaking country or to the Netherlands, Luxembourg,,,,learning the German language properly takes around 5 years ..for one word you know in german you need to learn many more because german language loves precision and according to the situation the word or expression will change appart from unexplicable gramatical rules, ...too long time to learn , if you are highly qualified , you have no time for this full time german language learning. you can learn a whole new career with that time. Friendliness, mmm also not so. they have different values, less emotional, no emphatetic. Best go to a more profi counry welcoming internationals and key tip: they accept english for work even if you do not speak the local language. Real international countries tolerate that you start working in english, while the local language you learn it with the time and only If you choose to stay long term. they do not asume that you will go for staying long term, they know you have the choice to leave. But Germany request you invested already such a long time learning German, and you still do not know if you wish to stay in Germany forever....

Sorry but Germany is a completely unfriendly country for immigrants. They do not even allow you to use your own driving licence and require you to apply for a new one like you are 17 years old. They don't trust you! \n\nYou then start your driving license process but they cannot arrange an exam date for you, because they lack examiners. They allow you to apply to a driving school in your own neighborhood only and you cannot apply to another one even in the next neighborhood a few kilometers away from your home. So if you live in the city center you are dead, you cannot find an empty exam slot. This is my second year in Germany, the officers and my driving schools have made 2 mistakes and 1 cancellation throughout my process and I could not have my practical exam yet after 10 months of endeavour. If I fail I should wait for another 3 months to find a new exam date! This is insane. \n\nSorry but how dare you can steal my so precious time? If you want skilled workers you should treat them as skilled workers not as 17 years old teens.

As an Indian, i can assure you that Canada had made mistake long time back.... Canada is doing this mistake for nearly 20-25 years, UK doing this mistake 10-15 years, Australia 5-10 years......\n\nSorry to say, damage in Canada is already done.... Even before watching I can tell you - Germany does not want Skilled labor immigrants, but unskilled. They hardly ever allow a skilled immigrant to get the skilled jobs that they have the skills for so lots of skilled people actually end up doing unskilled jobs - because they are not let to do the skilled work. The increase in the student immigrants population in the host countries was so unprecedented and so enormous that they heavily impacted on their economy and made considerable strain in the housing, supply and employment sectors and it in turn has developed local resentment and raised anger and\nanimosity against the immigrants. I've been living in Thailand for over two years, and I've noticed many people from Canada, the US, Germany, and France who have made this their permanent home. It seems like things aren't going so well in Western countries lately. I asked my German friend when he plans to return to Germany, and he said, 'never.' It's interesting because even I plan to return to Russia eventually, but someone from Germany doesn't.

Yeah I pretty much gave up on finding german friends in my first year. They aren't as social/open with strangers and those germans who are friendly already made enough friends growing up. There is also the language barrier; even if you were decent with the language, you would still fall a bit behind in casual settings due german colloquialism.\n\nYour best chance to make new friends is to mingle with other foreigners.

I have never come across a made in Canada product or services, they just export natural resources. The people had fun and vacations by exporting jobs to 3rd world countries, white color jobs to immigrants, now complaining about inflation ?

I have met a lot of Indians both good and bad. When you go to a store or somewhere you have this race of people who won't speak Canadian language, unless it's absolutely necessary. God forbid if you say to them they should speak English ior French in Canada, you are always called racist. When you hear of a murder of drug raid, it's almost always an Indian name. Hell, when you are cut off in traffic, well as you said in ithe beginning they look like you, not me. As I said at the first I have met and made friends with Indians, but it begins to piss you off, when there are so many. Our government has to stop the import of one race and if need be choose a little of all races, and prepare.

My wife has worked in India for 8years . After moving to german almost 3years back she she did B1 german certification plus techanical certification in software testing .But when she applies for a job she gets rejected. From that its proves dont need skilled employees and then she had to take up a mini job where skilled are not required in packing industries.While working there she made friends and they started asking her you are engineer and skilled person why you are working here and wasting time.
