Man, the housing crisis that’s going on. I am so fucking happy that I was able to find the basement that I’m in. Been here for over two years and now I’m moving to the country. I agree with most of the information in this video. I lived in Canada from 2015-2021. When i used to attend college, parking lot always smelled like weed. People were always lined up at the “recreation drugstore” even in excruciating cold. Also, the job market is bad, most of the employers are racist. Permanent residency is very hard to get. Free health care is actually not free. It is deducted from your every single pay checks. If you had any emergencies, be ready to wait for more than 10+ hours; sometimes more than that. I remember when back in 2015, prime minister justin, got more than 5 thousand Syrian refugees, and people were complaining that they are currently facing job shortages, housing issues and many other things but their needs were completely ignored. I recently visited Canada, and it’s getting worse now, lots of traffic, crime and homeless people. I would still recommend if you want to go and get educated because the education system is good. But if your goal is only for settlement then i would suggest to apply for permanent residence first.

I lived in UK for 2 years and got to know the same reality, I don’t see bright future there but a downfall of the society. There is only good money and u may feel that u have good lifestyle but its just illusion to distract from the real issues. You can’t even save much untill you work illegally and for more than working hours.

I been in Canada since age 11 and now 48. It is great to be part of both sides as I m an Indian born but got best of both countries and values. I work for a very large company and I feel I treated fairly and with utmost respect. Fact is Canada was hard for me when I started school from grade 6 to grade 10. I then changed schools and I was not bullied and face racist people. I went to diverse school. So diversity is good. Now my kids grew up here and feels at home but now there so many Indians here and clearly people here are annoyed and racism is become quiet high. I was verbally abused by strangers with racist slurs in the last few months. When I go shopping I been getting picked on by strangers at least 5 to 6 years the last 5 years or so. But now people don’t care and they act more and more racist. Indians sending there kids here should be aware of this. Also kids from India come here and try to do parties and drugs also. This becoming common. There is also many idiots from Punjab also. Many have criminal and drug and alcohol problems and they bring it here. It’s getting quiet messy. The government issues visa without checking peoples background. It’s madness. Stay safe. Canada is good country but the risks are also there now.

The new students who came in May intake haven't got the jobs yet that too in an area where population is relatively smaller, jobs chances are better etc. They have been applying for whole more than 2 months straight almost every day..and still no luck. Homelessness, drug problem is actually a real problem here. Pollution, greenery, electricity, water etc. k mamle mein I would say it's pretty okay unlike India jahan boht mushkil ho jata he. But I thini yahan or bhi bura haal hone wala he. O would prefer India all day every day. Well.. I'm still waiting for my studies to be completed...jikska ghanta koi fayda hone wala he..but .. so many people like me are in this dilema of going back vs staying here even after wanting so badly to go back to India. I have been in Canada since 2015, I always felt it was best place to be in. I got my citizenship in 2021. Things went downhill so fast, now I’m thinking to move back to India. Taxes are insane, cost of living has gone up so much you can barely afford a decent meal. Bigger cities is filled with uneducated morons from all over world, drug problems, healthcare is a joke - they planned for a million immigrants without thinking it will burden existing healthcare with no doctors and enough nurses. Neurologist appointment is 3 years waiting time - it’s not the same Canada it was 10 years ago.
