you know, i live about and hour and a half below the border, in arlington wa, and we get alot of canadians coming down. ive never been up to canada really but it seems that buisness isnt as busy. not as many coffee shops or fast food to work at. in america, everyday starts, and it picks up speed, and ROARS. canada, a little bit slower. in america you can get a bunch of people together and go wild and yell and laugh and do stupid stuff and evyone is like hey, those guys got it figured out.

This is so true not just for those immigrant applications. I had a vistors visa application and i was denied. My provincial and express entry (working visa) application has been in idle for almost 8 years. And i have multiple IELTS exam with OBS of 8.0 (min of 7.0) due to the fact that its expired. On top of that i have already exhausted Php500,000 around CND 12,500 of monetary resources for this application alone. And my sister paid Moyal a canadian agency CND 6,000 for the processing of my papers. And its already 8 years but its been idle that long. And i have seen Chinese people (from vlogs)coming into Canada getting their visa stamped with no read or write in english. And they land a job in Canada. I genuinely dont know how Canadian govt assess immigrants. Ive even seen a local dog (vlog) from our country come to Canada with no muss or fuss at all wih its application to stay in canada. Maybe i should just be a dog instead. Hmmmm....?

I know Canada is not perfect and I find you’re a bit hard on the red maple leaf... just because you don’t find the same things as your native country. It’s like\nfrench people coming from France, going to Quebec province an complaining about the food, the weather etc... well we’re not France, sorry to say! But I can\ntry to understand your situation; it’s probably inevitable that the comparison between your country and Canada would show up eventually. I see regularly \nimmigrants moving here and it’s true that it’s not easy. (Some people will have to be cab drivers because they can’t find work in their field). But you have\nopportunities if you work hard. I have the example of a Russian truck driver who move here with his family (wife, two kids). The man started by working for\na general transport company, then was able to buy his own truck. Now he’s able to work with whoever he wants. So I think every experience is different.\nOne other thing I noticed is that for families coming here it will always be easier for kids (even teens) to adapt quicker then their parents. I live in the east\n(the maritimes) and there is not very large cities. Some immigrants that come here will stay for a while but then they would move to a larger city (like\nToronto) because that city must have the most ethnic diversity in Canada. For cultural differences true that Canadians are like Americans in the «none»\nfashion trending. It’s a different mentality then Europe because over there fashion is a statement; you are judge on your appearance. Here, not as much.\nIt shows you don’t like winter and if you don’t your not a real Canadian! :-) Don’t generalize, a lot of people here like winter. And for taxes I don’t have a clear\nexplanation other then we have a huge empty country that needs roads, infrastructures, etc. and someone has to pay for it! (fun fact, all the population\nof Canada could fit in a country like Poland... it shows how empty it is here). Finally, and I heard this many times, maybe the people or the part of the\ngovernment to blame is Immigration Canada. Maybe they give to much of an idealistic image of Canada! To be honest I haven't finished watching your video because a point came to my mind and before I forget, decided to ask you girls here. I understand that working for a company, restaurant or a hotel is tough, especially finding one. \n1)What about if an immigrant has a kind of business skill or experience say in a fast food sector and has all that it takes to run a small fast food shop, which i think is better and more lucrative than trying to find a job elsewhere. Another thing immigrants should know before they come to canada. They say canada is a cold country. That's true. But they should also know, the weather can be cold and/or windy and/or cloudy and/or rainy and/or overcast and/or very hot and/or very humid. Also the weather can change very quickly. It's not unusual for the weather to change every 2 hours or 4 hours. A few nights ago, the temp was ok for sleeping. Then I woke up 4 hours later because it was too hot. Then I put on the air conditioner. Then 3 hours later I woke up because I was freezing. I had to turn off the air conditioner and put on a blanket. The weather is nuts. Completely nuts.

Reality of Canada - Very bad weather - freezing with gusty winds with \nsnow or ice ,get ready to shovel alot of snow in winter, winter type \nweather is for 8 months, very high price of house plus other high \nexpenses which are unaffordable like on an average house price is \nmillion dollars plus other expenses makes you 12,000$ per month which \nyou will not get easily as salary, high rents also almost 1700$ for one \nbhk ,whereas on an average you can make 2000 $ /month , high car \ninsurance plus high phone plus interntet plus grocery , no taste of \nindian vegetable & indian food ,its a big problem if you are a \nvegetarian, no specific job industry & 97% warehouse jobs which pay \nlittle also 99% sardars drive truck but truck is a very hard job esp in\n winter ,very hard to get good paying jobs & other jobs fon't pay \nthat much only illiterate people can do , no social life ,even no \npersonal life as women become very weird after coming to canada & \nlots of divorces happens in indian people after coming to canada, people\n of canada are very dead & shows no emotions like indians are . when\n kids grow up they have no feelings fo rtheir parents in canada as they \ndon't know what is indian culture , super worst medical system with 20 \nhours waiting in emergency plus doctors will never give you any medicine\n due to legal fear also you will never get timely treatment or even a \nmedicine like india, also specialist doctor appointments will take 6 \nmonths in canada while you can see specialist doctor daily if you want \nin india , dental & eye is private but very costly only if you have \nwork insurance, no servants or maids like india so you have to all jobs \nlike cleaning house, cooking, laundry ,dishwashing by yourself even if \nyou are coming from 8 hour job which is very tiring , canada is only \nheaven for punjabis for others they have to be very careful

I know people who have done Masters in Software engineering are working in a Pizza shops. If there is one job opening there are 10 thousand applicants for the same job. Companies showing fake jobs to satisfy govt. pressures. Automated refusals replies of your job applications are common.\n People get hired on sources and within companies. Racism exists, results are killings every now and then. Go and watch news channels like CP24. Thieves are here. Things do get stolen. Recently mass graves are found near schools in multiple areas of small children of indigenous people who were tortured and killed by white supremacy in the past. I moved to Niagara region and they charged me $200 deposit for water $200 deposit for hydro plus monthly bills separate. $1800 to $2000 is the rent of one bed apartment. Burlington where he lives has $2800 to $3000 rent monthly for a house. Go check online! Price of buying a home is in millions of dollars. Go check real estate.

a lot can be said about your narrative. you failed to mention the age of immigration. That alone is THE single most important factor on the out come of the exercise . anyone over 40 should not immigrate. second the education and skill set you bring will be a major factor in the out come. Third there is systemic racism after a certain level which one can feel in very job. i strongly believe one should come to Canada, get top quality education and skill, work with top quality people/organizations which should not be more than 5-6 years, then go back home. the long term price of immigration is huge. Does he still need to do odd jobs since that education is recognized and accredited by Canadian Higher Education?? Secondly, one main question is about INTEREST. Local Brampton Mayors and Ontario gov never tried to put/invite some universities, hospitals and white collar jobs in Brampton, due to that Brampton became mostly bedroom community and all mix people started leaving city by seeing huge influx of South Asian population. Most people in Brampton are either truck driver, construction worker or labourer working in warehouse, while North-West part of Brampton is mostly young IT people working in Downtown or Mississuaga. I personally don’t know a single person who works in Brampton. But, still every Indian wants to live in Brampton just because of food & brown community. Now Brampton will become more brown and brown every year, just because there is no reason for other community to come and live in Brampton, no white collar jobs, not many hospitals or colleges or universty which can bring mix crowd. Brampton will be 100% south asian in next 10 years as most 50%+ new immigrants to Canada are from South Asia and every year 450000 new immigrants comes to Canada!

I know we have some people here in Canada , Ontario i have seen it all. We have our amount of unstable citizens. But i heard a person coming to me and saying the FBI was after him. I laughed because i know the Federal of Investigation can not come into Cnanada without the approval of the RCMP. And even then they have to work together. This's why I think most don't get it and why Canada doesn't have smart people, and why people ask why from others instead of figuring it out or should already know the answer if so-called adults were competent and actually helpful. Many Lower Class U.S citizens who do want to move for better job oppertunites for skill working who want to move to Canada. There is an issue for many. That is Canada is backwards on the helping those with disability and getting assistance or help for any disability. Those coming to Canada if husband, wife or child has a disability they will discriminate against them, especially if the person was on SSDI or SSI. If your husband/wife, fiance/fiancee has disability but you have duel citizenship between U.S and U.K they make it hard for prospective significant other that is on SSDI or SSI from coming to Canada with you and see them even if they were Self-Employed in U.S as a financial burden. Many I know have dealt with this stigmatizing by Canada over a disability significant other so they live in Canada but work in U.S to keep from Financial struggle Canada puts on them for daring to fall in love with a disabled significant other reguardless where the disabled significant other is from which is very, very sad.

I am a white female, have been followed in stores and told once that I have come into the store too many times in one day. Every time I was in the store I bought things. They wanted to know why I was in the store soooo many times and why I did not buy anything. LOL I went to open my purse and they jumped like I was getting a gun out, pulled out all my receipts. This idea that tipping is standard is basically rewarding bad behavior.. something I refuse to.\n\nIv had the odd waitress get snarky and if the food was high quality, while the service was garbage. Iv gone directly to kitchen staff and given them a tip cutting the server out completely normally they only give 10% of there total tips to the kitchen and I don't know any one server that claim more that 35% of there tips come tax season.\n. ohh I should mention prior to covid lockdowns a decent sever at an average bar takes home an average of $200 a night on top of their hourly wage so with the standard of 15 per h that's 120 + 200 that is 320 in a 8 hour shit that $40.00 and rough hour after 37 since I don't know a single one paying the proper taxes. A Friday/Saturday night should bring in well over 400.\n\nNow contrary to popular belief a restaurant must let view the kitchen if requested that's why you can see the kitchen in fast food places. \nAnd vice versa don't you kids yourself.\n\nThe most iv seen a server be tipped from a single table is $6,500\nIn one night $15,000\nVery rare even in mist fine dining.\n\nIf you knew a server complaing about income prior to covid lockdowns that ment 1 of 3 things\n1. addiction\n2. They don't do there job or are completely garbage at it and not cut out for it.\n3. A serious unplanned life event.\n\nAlso the I'm a stripper for school lol 99% of the time really means I have no real life work skills nor do I intended on getting any which is usually coupled with horrid addiction.

Coming from Germany we are used to high taxes. If I’d earn 100k CAD here I would get only 55k...but health insurance is already covered.\nBe aware when you start working in Canada but you’re not considered a permanent resident in that tax year. You have to pay a higher tax rate since you’re not a permanent resident. So if they hire you as a permanent resident (what they usually do cause they don’t know) you need to pay extra after submitting your tax return ;-)
