The large percentage increase you mentioned in Canada’s national homicide rate is likely due to the fact that you are dealing with low base numbers to begin with - so small absolute increases can yield high percentages, and make it look much worse than it really is. Other types of reported crime may be up, and people may FEEL less safe (due to high levels of vagrancy, increased media reporting, and politicisation of crime trends) but Canada still remains a very safe place to live.

Why would people be considering Toronto other than for jobs? Expensive and cold AF. The only reason Toronto exists is because the rest of Canada is even more expensive logistically and cold. If Canada and US had merged 100-200 years ago I think Toronto today would be a small town/city.

Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. I have lived in Canada all my life and concur 100% with this. The people are lovely and it's a safe, clean, pleasant place. But you have to be ready for hardship when you move to another country. It's hard work and opportunities are plentiful in India itself, so the trade-off is not the same as it was for my parents back in the 1970s and 80s.

Inflation has hit worldwide. Prices surged after COVID with no signs of going down and now we are at a point that we've been anchored to these prices. Sometimes I dissuade myself from the occasional treat. I thought Popeye's was halal in Canada. While I now live in a state with 100,000+ Muslim population, I wish there were a lot more halal eatery options. This is a stark contrast from where I was living in Long Island, New York, where there were close to 30 halal eateries in a 3-mile radius. New York City has now permitted the azaan to be broadcasted over loudspeaker for every week jumu'ah and during Ramazan every maghrib as well. Even with all the halal options and large Muslim neighborhoods, NYC has its own challenges. A designated shoes-off place of worship for all faiths in establishments would be nice, be it malls, superstores, or airports.

Canada is cold at times and I wish it were hotter, but I love it, l am a Christian and I love the outdoors, my kids love the out doors and we love Canada. I would never speak for a whole huge group of people like this. I'm 100% sure many would like to at the very least temporarily move. I definitely would. When where you live doesn't look or feel at all like home for me it isn't home anymore. For many like myself this whole world is just a temporary home, and nothing compared to our an eternal home of peace. ?✝️

Masha'Allah, I enjoyed your video. As around 8-10 years ago, I embarked on a similar journey, leaving North America for the Middle East, Far East, and South East Asia in search of a country with Islamic values and environment. However, I eventually returned back due to witnessing too much hypocrisy and lawlessness in those places. Unfortunately, there isn't a single country in the world that can be considered a true Islamic country. If you've found something that fits the criteria, please feel free to share. Honestly, I can't claim it's 100%, but during Dr. Mahathir's time, Malaysia seemed around 60-70%. The main challenge was the language; learning Malay is essential to fit in better. English is widely spoken and understood, but proficiency in Malay enhances the experience. As for Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, they fall short at the 20-30% level. May Allah SWT bless you, your family, and guide you to find the best fit that meets your religious needs.
