migrant moving here presume no degree, start from scratch take 4 years minimum to get a degree and have to work 2 jobs while at it just to barely scrape by. once u graduate, u be lucky to even land a government jobs that pay 50000-60000 a year. mean while a house cost 1.5 million on average and a 1 bed condo starts at 600000 to 700000. by the time u save enough down payment, u will be in ur 30s, and by the time u finished with the mortgage u r well into ur 50s or 60s. while everything is expansive as shit here, migrant can actually have a much more easier life and cheaper path way to a home. specially those coming from india or south east asia, why bother lol.

I live in Scotland for last 5 years, moved here because I was tired of India. Its corruption, polarized politics, and also how people behave. I have been welcomed by the Scots here, treated with respect and made many Scottish friends and know families who are some of the kindest warm people you will meet. \nI also know lots of Indians who are well behaved and good residents of Scotland. But sometimes I see Indians who simply take advantage of the Scottish hospitality. These Indian abuse the honor system to the point that it has become less prevalent. I once seen some north Indian guy singing vulgar Bhojpuri songs to a white girl when on the sidewalk in a manner that can be called eve testing, that made my blood boil. I absolutely hate it and avoid some Indians unless I personally know them. Being and Indian I dont want to be associated with Indians abroad because these 1-2% Indians have given the rest of us a bad name.

Absolutely, I agree with you. These international students have destroyed Canada, they have no manners. They don’t know how to be polite, civic, thankful. They are illiterate, smelly and loud. Vast majority of the people from India that are here on temporary status are going to be forced to go back when their permit ends. Qualifying for PR is not what it was few years ago. The system will cleanse itself.

Getting job in our own fields “engineering “ it took us 3 years ,as we had to get the memberships. We worked as school helpers and at gas station, whereas my husband is now at a higher level as a geoscientist . Struggles no matter where,pays off. \nYou are so wrong about so many things. Surviving without a car is very possible,transit is so regular and swift and heated.our kids transited for their entire university days. Canadian here. Trudeau is a diaster. He's letting in 1.4 MILLION migrants every year into a country of 40 million, population is exploding, housing is nonexistent, healthcare has collapsed and its overcrowded and homelessness has exploded. Many of the students (if not most) knew documents were being falsified to even get them here. This is major fraudulent activity and many Canadians, from India, are straightforward and clearly tell that this is happening regularly. I do feel sorry for the few who were lied to.
