Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

Racism will go away when the double standards go away. You’re right stop worrying about other people and worry about yourselves. Support black owned businesses and watch BET. But don’t get mad if there’s a white entertainment television, and a united white college fund. What’s good for the goose…you know? None of us owned slaves and there is enough programs and points on the union tests just for being black for you guys to all enjoy. Y’all complaining bout taking care of our homeless first before them, uhhh for one, our government doesn’t do shit for illegals except send them back. Two, when’s the last time u ever seen a homeless immigrant? Them mfers work their asses off and pay for everything. If anything they are good for economy. Way I see it is we keep them and send all our homeless back to Mexico and South America in place of the ones who work so they don’t end up like the bums on the street. I grew up in South Africa. I didn't even know I lived under apartheid, that's how great my life was. I've never experienced racism in America, at ALL. \nI'm more scared of black women in the workforce. People think that Canada is racism free utopia and its not. People always want to talk about the US. And yes the US has a long way to go,but at least it's vocal. I was hoping that Canada would be a safe haven for Black people. I thought that Canada was genuinely liberal in a way that nowhere in the United States is. There is the image of Canadians as low key, down to Earth, inoffensive, unimposing, friendly, helpful. I guess that was just a myth. i dont wanna be that guy before i start but i think we already have a hard time finding jobs and housing as it is but all these new people we cant keep up there now making there way all over the east coast the resort in my area is ran by like 80% staff now no offence but thats hundreds of jobs that we need i have friends that work 12 hours a day at 3 different gas stations just to pay there bills only making about 100$ a day when they could have a job that pays 12$ a hour instead of 9$ see my point i thought it was very good

Not that many people in the developed world are shopping for an alternative country. So I imagine most Americans and most Canadians will be content with their nation of birth. But as a Canadian, I have to admit I'm a bit scared of the US. The level of violent crime down there is such that _many_ (not all) people feel they need guns for personal security. American prison rates testify to a level of desperation and alienation that is _not_ appealing to me. I don't want to live somewhere where owning a deadly weapon seems like a sensible idea! Also, as a struggling creative/entertainment person, I can't guarantee I'll be consistently earning good money – there are plenty of lean times in my biz. I don't want to be repeatedly worrying about my health coverage disappearing, whenever work dries up. I've never had that type of anxiety in Canada, and I sure appreciate that. Btw, although the Canadian health system is a long way from perfect, I've always managed to get appropriate care, according to my needs, quickly enough, at no cost to myself. And currently, I really like my GP _and_ my specialists!

The migrants that I know, have better jobs than me. They don’t live in housing and are not on food stamps. They are not eligible for that assistance anyway because they were not born here and they make way more than allowed to be eligible. My neighbor is a migrant worker and he works in the pipeline industry. I have no idea how he got a job like that so quick. I work in retail as a service writer and maintenance guy.

It’s called the fucking internet, And maybe 5% of Americans took advantage of that and informed themselves. The other 95% just soaked up YT and Tik Tok while they make repugnant Baaa Baa claims about the left and right. Just constantly feeding into this division THEY created. There’s underlying parts of our government that fight this, and get people they don’t particularly like in the door. Like the Kennedy’s and Trump but we have no value in voting. As a child of a first generation immigrant, this is horrible and WRONG. My dad and his family fled Nicaragua in the late 80's when the socialists took over. And it was a real war zone. The government stole their land, homes, and k!lled people they knew. On the way to the airport my dad (who was a small child at the time) saw dead bodies in the street. Thankfully they made it to the USA and were able to rebuild their lives and become proud American citizens. They did it LEGALLY. It makes me so mad when I see footage like this. Lots of racist people serotype Hispanic Americans negatively because of these criminals. Why is our government doing nothing about this???? The cost of living is unbearable already and we have a major housing crisis. It is NORMAL to have a border! Why is that so hard for some people to understand???? It's a national security crisis. I swear this is the most incompetent administration I've ever seen in my lifetime.

The UK is pretty much like Canada, now. There is only room for the 5% who are rich (the capitalists & rentiers) and the 35% of people on Benefits (the 35% of population who live off welfare paid for by the State using the hard-working tax payer's money). The honest, hard-working middle-class (about 50 to 60% of society) are absolutely screwed and doomed, because all they can now do is keep working their guts out till they drop dead, and never hope to have a decent life. The culture of state-funded Welfare has now gotten so bad that I now live in a street where some 30% of the people who live off Welfare have been given State funded houses, and those houses which are bigger and better than mine (all paid for using my tax money). And I have slogged my entire life (I am 65 now) to pay off a large mortgage on a house that eventually has lower value than the houses that people on Welfare are given on the same Street! Worse still, now that I am approaching the stage where I might need to go into a Care Home, my house (which I worked for my entire life to attain) will have to be sold off to pay for my Care Home costs. While my neighbours who never worked a single day in their life (and whose life was subsidized using my tax money) will again get free state-funded Care Home facility too! It utterly beggars belief. \n\nWhen state-funded Welfare gets to a point that doing an honest day's work actually penalizes you, because all you are doing is funding the lifestyles of the other half of society who wish to sponge off State Welfare (due to the high taxes the Government is forced to impose on the working middle-class to support the 35% on State benefits), then that society can never prosper, firstly because it removes the motivation to work hard, and secondly because some day the Government will run out of money to continuing funding the lavish lifestyles of people on State Welfare. And that is very much now the state of affairs in countries like Canada, the UK, and much of EU. It is an unsustainable model. \n\nBy contrast, in countries like the US, China, India, etc. there is a much greater correlation between hard work and reward. Choosing to not go to work and sponging off Governmental welfare is simply not an option. And that is precisely why countries like these will continue to prosper in the coming years - because they have some form of Meritocracy. Unfortunately, I think countries like the UK, Canada, and most western EU countries are looking at a downward spiral, and there are no easy solutions, because their Welfare model has already created these huge segments of society which depend on it and will not allow it to be demolished - but the day is fast approaching where they will all soon run out of money to continue funding it (most of these countries are already facing huge Debt-GDP ratios, and there is no conceivable way of them coming out of it).

This is nothing new. Ever since the beginning of time Caucasians have always felt this way. It's in their blood, their DNA. They feel Superior to everyone else of color. They see us people of color as inferior. They think they're entitled to everything on this earth. So hateful and so wrong. This will never change or go away. I applied for a visa to the US just to visit my relatives for one month but I was denied... after working for 32 yrs and I just want to visit my relatives in the states I was denied..coming to the states just to visit is like intering a needle..i was invited by the way.. sooo sad they interviewed me for just 2 minutes I was asked if I was retired and I told her yes and gave me a paper telling me I was denied?

Just go through the proper paper works. if others did it, most in the long and hard way. The rest should too. and youll get it. You cant just barge into someone's home like that cuz they have something and you have nothing. It's like a home invasion and robbery.

McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

If you have an issue with latino people coming here undocumented, you should remember that your ancestors did EXACTLY the same thing and that they decimated native Americans in order to create rules, laws and regulations against the very thing they themselves did.
