I have read a lot of these replies and they all said that why didn't he learn English language. I myself have asked this question to some of my coworkers and this was there reply that was told to me by another person who understood what they said IT'S FREEDOM OF SPEECH and they got mad cause I laughed and said that is not what that means but yet they all got mad .but after they were told what it really meant was just as confusing as what they have been believing that it ment that they didn't have to learn a new language and now they have all are and have learned English. So my point is that it's not that they don't want to learn the language but they were denied the truth. I am by far taking up for anyone I am just asking for help with the understanding that if they didn't learn English is because they were told that they didn't have to that's all. And if I can learn a new language then why can't anyone else.

At 8:41 this is BS I work at a Best buy and in our training we are told that you should always try to help someone as in some cases we are paid commission. These are just people like my self trying to earn more money.

so why do we have 10+ immigrants living in a 2 bedroom house? on food stamps driving a new car, free medical, not paying tax. As a shop assistant we are actually told by bosses to approach any customers that seem to be looking for something to offer them help nothing to do with their colour all todo with customer service if they can’t find what they’re looking for

I am European American and I’ve set off the alarm upon leaving a store several times and EVERY time they told me not to worry about it and just let me go. They even smiled as to say “sorry for the inconvenience.” Shameful.

This is very unscientific compared to other Marketplace investigations. i have had worse things done to me by hispanic security guard at Safeway. I am white. i refused to provide my receipt to guard who singled me out after this happened to me multiple times, see below. they detained me for 15 minutes. I called the Berkeley police. Instead of arresting them for false imprisonment Police told me I was banned from store and would be arrested if I return. I have video. Wonder if that would go viral? No, I’m white. Also accused of stealing by Asian american deli workers at Safewat in SF. I have video of that. In that case black security guard backed me up in my claim that I brought in the rye bread from outside that I asked my sandwich be made with. At another Safeway in SF the Eastern European deli manager got the black security guard to single me out to produce my receipt. I showed it to him. A few days later I saw a black man walk in that Safeway and go to the expensive cold drinks area, open a bottle and start drinking it. I alerted the store workers but they refused to ask him fir his receipt because they had not personally seen him steal it. I had nit stole anything but that did not prevent them from asking this white dude or accusing me falsely in 3 different Safeway stores.

i got racially profiled . i went to an up scale outdoor mall. Full off super wealthy White ppl . I was with my friends in a candy store .. i bought a sprite and told the lady to keep the receipt . i didn’t think i needed it . it was only like 2 bucks. Long story short an older lady who was in her 50’s about ( white ) accuses me of stealing tells the workers to chase after me . As i’m walking out . One of the lady’s grabs my shoulder and ask me if i paid for that . i said yes i did. she asks for my receipt and i told her i just bought a sprite and didn’t think i needed it She tells me to STAY PUT . i said uh ok. She ask the lady at the register if i paid and she said yes . Remind u everyone in the store is white i’m the only black kid . Also i’m 13. My friends confronted the lady without me asking . i’m thankful for them

I live in a supposedly muslim country but if you wear hijab or god forbids niqab you are discriminated against. I was literally told that I shouldn't bother applying for a job in a certain company if I'm wearing a hijab. so I am a woman who isn't white and who is wearing hijab. finding a job in my field of work turned out to be such a hassle.

Discrimination during house renting is very real. In NZ at first look I either got told there was no apartment for me or asked if I would stink up the place with all the “curries” I would be cooking ?. When I do submit my expression of interest with my payslips and impeccable credit score - I get chased by these same property agents for the same rental property. There are only two races - rich and poor.

My parents live in Ontario and they’re Muslim. My Mom doesn’t wear either head scarf or a face covering, however she does wear it while praying at home or at the mosque.\n\nWhy I left Islam is a very long story. It didn’t seem right how after 9/11 Muslims around the world were celebrating, including my uncles and cousins back home. I came to Christ in 2010 and I’m so blessed to be saved by grace. I’m so glad I have a choice to love God and not forced any more. I’m really worried for this lady Farzana, I’m sure she gets death threats by other Muslims. I experienced it myself when I told a Muslim man I no longer practiced Islam, and that I’m a believer in Christ. He was furious! I told my parents how I got away and even though they are devout Muslims, they realize how I am in danger and my Mom told me I shouldn’t tell other Muslims about my faith. I told her I wasn’t gonna deny Jesus. She worries about me but I told her, I know my destiny for a fact. I had a personal encounter with Jesus and there’s no way I can deny Him. My only prayer is my family will know Christ and one day we will be in heaven together. I’m looking forward to that day. I honestly don’t want to be here in this awful, world where there is so much hate. I want to be with my Savior soon. I don’t even care if I’m killed by a Jihadi. If that’s how God will show my parents how corrupt Islam is then so be it. I just want them to know Christ.

I've worked in stores in USA and I've always told to watch out for shoplifters no racial profiling but I do know police use this.

Remember living in Sweden from 1994 to 2001. Met a lot of Bosnian refugees who had the good fortune to make it to Sweden and was talking to them one night about the process of being chosen. They told me not to believe everything you hear about humanitarian ideals involved in the process. The position is already filled ....to the person with the different accent or non European name. Being followed around the store is standard practice..... Shoppers drug mart , Jean Coutou , Best Buy, Bulk Barn , I mean Bulk Barn , with tons of bulk in bins. At the Royal Vic ....a public hospital in Montreal , the non white patient is made to wait for hours as his file for some reason is placed at the bottom of the pile . At a Club in Montreal the non white guy is told that he cannot enter because of his running shoes. His white friends reports later that running shoes were on display at this watering hole. And then there is the not so subtle case of Ketchup squirted on the head of this visible minority kid who was having a beer and minding his own business. I am the person in question . I am non white and I hold a PhD from Mc Gill . I encountered these experiences as a foreign student in 1982. I visited Ottawa last month 2019 .....you guessed it , Bulk barn at Billings bridge profiled me as a danger to the corn flakes bin. Canada is a wonderful country in many respects but it has a side which whites will not normally see because of the pervasiveness of white privileged.

Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Im white and i was profiled at the pharmacy. My mom and i had the same surgery at the same time and when we went together to get our perscriptions i was told they were out (pain meds) my mom was filling the exact medication and amounts as mine and they filled her meds immediately after telling me they were out..they had no idea we were together or related..I was 60 and my mom was 80 at the time..

I work at Boeing and I cant get promoted. I was a sergeant in the Army. Now I am a Sergeant in the Guard. I came to the company with an associate degree in business management. Other people with no college at all are getting the promotions. And there is a bachelor's degree requirement. Several managers have told me its not about how hard you work but who you know. I am almost done with my bacholar degree. But, I dought I will get promoted because I am black.

Yes I ran into racial profiling when I wanted to ask why CBC is biased and won't report fairly. Being white and male, I was told that my opinion is invalid, and in spite of the taxes I pay for their wages, I don't have any say. Moreover, because I am male, CBC's supreme leader Trudeau has dictated I am not allowed any sort of platform. This is an important issue! Why do you think these sterotypes are so prevalent CBC? Crime statistics? Day to day crime by certain groups? CBC hates the question why because it conflicts with their bias as mandated by identity politics. Once I can walk through any place in Canada and not simply see, with my own eyes, the obvious differences between people based on color, or am treated like a direct decendant of slave owners by our state run media, maybe then the forty-thousand years worth of tribal cues ingrained in me will change. Are there really no examples of white men changing the narrative? No exmples you can provide for us devils to follow? No studies on private donors who are trying to help? Maybe it's time for me to stop, as there is absolutely no recognition of my attempts to make changes. The withdrawl of financial support is now my protest against your bias.
