I have cousins who are illegal immigrants, I’ve been trying to sponsor my wife to come here legally and it has been the most dreadful process I’ve ever been through. Meanwhile these guys are here already receiving food stamps and housing. I make 220k a year. I pay my fair share in taxes and don’t need any government assistance. I’m definitely for returning illegals that are jamming the immigration system.

But the few charts with legal immigration data included show that there is a turn against both legal and illegal immigration (see chart on left at 1:50 ). Seems like MAGA victimhood seeking, as per usual ? Also note the massive run-up in Trump's 1st term in encounters (tripled from 2017-2019) ? He was only saved by COVID collapsing the economic drive for illegal immigration. And even then, most of the run-up post COVID lockdown was in place by Jan 2021 ( 3:30 ). We don't need to deport them. Just make it where any company or business found employing them is immediately shuttered and the management imprisoned. As an American we are very relieved, here in NYC about 500,000-750,000 people are here illegally (that we know about) and they take jobs, resources, and money from actual citizens. For example they cut our schools budget to fund hotel rooms for these people. Gave them debit cards, free phones, and a whole lot more. I hope Trump does it and removes all of them, for America's sake. I say this as a 25 year old former democrat. Mass migration is a detriment to any society. Not to mention the crime and resource problems that come with it.

Any politician/corporation/CEO that supports, ignores or enables the breaking of laws, should be considered to be in breach of those laws as well. Any one that makes use of or allows illegal (as in breaking the law) immigration/immigrants should be removed from the post and jailed. \n\nWhy do liberals progressives think they are above the law or that they only need to follow the laws that they want too? I don’t support trump at all but I think immigration is an issue here (obviously not with people eating cats literally fake) for American citizens and what our taxes go to. Even if illegal immigrants are removed, there needs to be better humane improvements for those who want to come in the right way.

Besides distinguishing between legal amd illegal immigration, it would be good to know the numbers behind the types of undocumented immigrants. Many of these 11 million plus people actually belong here in the US, such as the Haitians and the Deeamers (which y'all neglected to mention). But if your asylum claim has been rejected or if you've overstayed your visa (which accounts for many), then deportation is fair. But we need a grand compromise. A path to citizenship for Dreamers and people who are under special arrangements (again, like the Haitians), deportations for most others, with a new visa regime for people who have been working in parts of the economy that - to be blunt - Americans won't.\n\nAlso, most of the people here without proper documents are Mexican. And most came through Mexico. AMLO let that happen. Sheinbaum is going to need to address that. Many Mexicans are also greatly unhappy with what's been going on for the last few years.

I’m not a crazy Trumper when I say this, but IMO you all should put a retraction or correction. I come to TLDR for fair and unbaised news. But the confusing of “illegal immigration” and “immigration” misleads people to believe that Trump is against ALL forms of immigration, which no one believes.\n\nTLDR, if you don’t think it is misleading, then I think you all should work on communication. You need to provide more context or argument in this video about how Trump is against all immigration.
