The current land of Israel has been inhabited by Jews since 1400 BC, 2000 years before Islam was invented. The name came from a group of people known as the Philistines, who were the Jewish people’s worst enemy. Remember, Goliath was a Philistine and King David killed him with a sling and a stone in 1000 BC. Rome knew that naming Judea after the Philistines would be a great insult to the Jews. There never was a Nation with a government known as Palestine. The region called Palestine was inhabited by Jews, Arabs and Christians before 1948, when the United Nations made Israel a State on its historical homeland. The real problem here? The Arab/Muslim world wants the nation of Israel destroyed (from the river to the sea) and the Jewish people removed from the earth. It’s part of their religion. I am disappointed with this video. The problems mentioned here are in USA and UK as well. We form opinions based on our experiences. I have no complaints against Healthcare as I was operated in few hours in emergency and never had to wait long for diagnostic tests. Education in Canada is affordable compared to US. Air and Food quality is great. People are extremely friendly. Yes, the housing crisis is there especially post Covid but hoping the market will correct gradually. In my experience, every country has pros n cons and one needs to make a choice between their home country and Canada comparing both based on one's priorities and preferences.Canada changed our lives in so many good ways and my whole family appreciates it. Canada is ovetall a nice country. And it's not easy to get PR. If you get , it's luck n hardships to settle in any new country.

I used to go to a small college in steeles west. We were only a few students in there maybe 20 to 40+ with 2 programs combined. Very chill, everyone knows one another and had fun hanging in the lounge area/ cafeteria. But man, when the indian students arrived, we lost that comfort and place in that building. It transformed within days to their own environment, whats worst is they keep having celebrations and parties when we were having classes and exams. That experience really had me change my perception on the new indian immigrants, theres just zero respect on their surrounding as long as they have the party. Im an immigrant myself, but bringing your culture with you in a foreign country and expect everyone to adhere to it is just...yeesh. im just glad im done with that school. We're the second last batch to ever stayed there before the college finished their Toronto building for the new students.

There needs to be a cap on how many immigrants are allowed in. Other countries have restrictions, why can't Canada? My town has literally been taken over! 5 families in one home, and not one can cut the grass!!

As someone who was born in Canada and left, I wanted to know about some current sentiment, especially by younger people. I think you had some interesting information. I'm actually sad to hear that crime and homelessness has gotten even worse, especially in places like you mentioned, DTES. One thing I want to share with you about the housing issue. Canada acts like a Federation. Meaning that a lot of decision making is delegated to the provincial and municipal level. Yes, Canada has goals for immigration. That's a super valid goal because every developed country is going through declining birth rates. Canada wants to lessen the damage that will be felt by so many other countries like Italy, Germany, China, Japan, etc. The issue with this federated government is like you said, a disconnect between goals and readiness. However, I really feel this will never be accomplishable because of all the lobbying that occurs at the municipal level that the Federal and even Provincial level government cannot control. Yes, there may be shortages in labour to do development, but even then, I really think that lobbying and corruption is keeping adequate supply from being built. From the homeowners and the perspective of the wealthy property owners, they want to keep the valuation of housing high by keeping supply low. Why else is the municipal government keeping such archaic zoning laws? From what I could find, there has been some talk about changing this (https://bc.ctvnews.ca/b-c-to-table-housing-law-targeting-outdated-zoning-rules-1.6627260) but I struggle to see anything really being done. That's probably because of lobbying. The immigration laws set by the government had too many loopholes and flaws ultimately. I don't think we are getting enough productive immigrants. Actually, the opposite seems to occur a lot. The wealthy from the countries I mentioned are abusing the immigration policies in Canada to transfer and preserve their wealth in Canada. I think it has hid in plain sight for a long time, and people have started talked about it in the last 5-10 years because of the struggles of housing affordability from the middle class. What about the immigrants that really want to start a life in Canada and find opportunities like you said? The housing is too expensive for them to do that. Really chicken and egg problem like you mentioned. And this issue can't readily be fixed with the way Canadian government operates. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. I would like to add something here to show my gratitude towards Canada. \nI immigrated in Canada and now a Canadian citizen. The best thing Canada has given me are equal opportunities, and system to adopt. \nWhen we immigrated to any country we should respect and obey the rules, culture and values of country. \nIt is hard to say but nowadays some kind of immigrants consultant become greedy and comming students also become blind followers that they are not doing research by themselves. \n\nCanada has very clear and easy to follow immigration rules that any one with basic education can read and understand. There is no place where it is written to give guarantee to PR or extension of the work permit beyond the limit. Usually anyone taking decision to immigrate any another country then obviously need to do some basic and easy home work. \n\nIt is totally not fare and ethically right to protest in the host country to change their clearly defined rules after landing despite of accepting terms while submitting the studen visa. So my humble respect to prospective immigrants and existing students that protesting to change rules in Canada should not be right way to do instead of protest against greedy and lying immigrants consultants who lied with you to save next students and immigrants.

In ottawa, they own almost all fast foods, stores, gas stations, etc. They have absolutely no customer service skils its crazy how i hate it here now..i dont recognize ottawa anymore ...i feel like a stranger in a 3rd world country. Our neighborhoods are packed, and they dont talk to anybody...at clinics we were only white ones in waiting room many times...more crimes we see the names so we know..no more housing ...etc etc etc nothing is good about it.canada is down the drain done.

As a Canadian myself, what I don’t understand is why the heck would you want more people in country when 1 some places in Canada don’t have clean water, 2 rent/taxes are just way to high to sustain two people for food. My cousins are in Germany n Ireland, health care waiting period is high in both places..even in case of emergency....one major positive in those places as per them are less pollution n clean environment, so qualityof life...if 'Swach Bharat' becomes a reality, India is far better than many so called developed countries...

As an Indian who was born and raised in Canada (immigrant parents from 1994), one of my favourite things about being a Canadian has been finding my own path as a citizen. I still love my culture but if I wanted to be in India, I would have just chose to move back. My parents came here to give me a better life and opportunity. I have fully embraced that. It frustrates me to no end when I see other Indians come here and disrespect the country that is giving them freedom. Canada isn’t your personal frat party to act like a public disturbance. I have proudly adjusted to Canadian culture and I associate with it more than I do India, and I always will. My parents didn’t give everything up and move here just for me to pretend I’m in India. \nI hate that I get lumped in with this mess sometimes.

Why African don't stay in their countries? Their countries are wealthy with resources in abundance. The western world benefit from the resources getting richer and richer. I am currently in Waterloo, Ontario. Definitely Canada is one of the beautiful country. However, the points you mentioned in this video are infinite percent correct. Sometimes, Canadians get fed up so much of seeing Indian students and they start abusing us. It certainly is not correct. But, some students literally occupy, do parties with loud music and act as if they own the place which riles up the natives. In addition, the health care is not responsive. The doctors are so scared of loosing their license that they do not even care of other than their patients (even if some one is in emergency). This is very scary. Sometimes, I think, India is so much better in health care.

Wow! I stumbled on your video, and I love your content. My first visa rejection was with the UK. I was rejected 4 times. I was told that my record will be poor so I should declare my passport missing and get a new one. On the 4th rejection, the reason didn't make sense to me so I decided to write to the British High Commissioner and that was the deal breaker. I got 6 months, thereafter several 2 years, and now 5 years. I went ahead to build a travel history by visiting several African countries. Thereafter, I have been able on my own to apply and get schengen, USA and Canada visitor visa.

Living in Canada since 5 years and never faced any of these issues mentioned in the video. Its a beautiful country with most polite and helpful people, one of the best work culture I have seen. We recently welcomed new born baby in Canada and medical care we received was top notch. I was in Canada for 1.5 months and I can say them much better than India. They have flaws but compared to India they are not that major. Human life matters there a lot more than in India. We as Indian expect they should behave like India so that we will get any thing and do things the we are doing in India but we forgetting one thing we are in there country we need to adopt our self according to there standers. Rubbish video and info i earn 50k a year and got approved loan of 4 lakh . You can buy a condo in 3 to 4 lakh , and treatment waiting list according to priority if its really urgent the no needs to wait . When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.
