Awe boohoo\n.. imagine being canadian. Supporting every cou try in the world and pandering to special interest groups...

They could encourage Canadians to have more babies as opposed bringing in foreigners who often aren’t interested in Canadian values. Diversity doesn’t seem to be making us stronger.

We have no jobs here,  high tax rate, high interest rate, high cost of living on everything. Please take care of the exiting Canadians, never mind the third-world refugees and immigrants!

I have never been tired of watching your video no matter how long. Because the longer your video, the more interesting it becomes..

Interesting video! You would like to think that the comments will be impartial, some supporting the victim some officials. Surprisingly, almost all comments appear to be in favor of the rude embassy official, often citing the other side of the coin. But, they dont know what the other side of the coin either. Just seemed unusual.

Justin's policies of profligate spending entrenches inflation and high interest rates making life hard for new and native born Canadians alike.

If immigrants are leaving then why more are still interested in coming to Canada? Actually their intentions are not to say but to get PR and leaving. PR will give them pension/welfare $$$ and Ohip, free medical.

6-7% interest rates on $500k+: fun

Had Canada's politicians prioritized the best interests of the people, the extensive immigration we are currently witnessing would have been avoided altogether. The majority of Canadians expressed opposition to mass immigration from non-European countries, but unfortunately, these sentiments were dismissed. Consequently, it is not surprising that the current wave of immigrants finds themselves disillusioned with politicians who are seemingly not prioritizing their interests – a situation that, in reality, should not come as a surprise.

you forgot , apartment renters now started charging utilities on top of rent. the gross greed of property owners is astonishing. and dont confuse these renters with property investors who's interest rates went up, oh no, these apartment building owners have their mortgages paid off decades ago, they are just riding the gravy train.

Speaking as a Canadian Filipino, I find it interesting that more and people would rather move to the Philippines than move to the United States.???? Consider through American attitudes...who, although those that have no morals... wouldn't want to move to the United States.

Chinese lady who grew up in Germany and moved to Canada, interesting! ?\n\nThank you for the video! All those reasons are real, and I can relate. What made you move from Germany where the economic is better as well as the overall welfare to a country like Canada?

Canada .. it seems how good u speak English seems to be a yardstick a phobia to skill talent productivity good job . Etc etc\n\nFact is in today's world top 10 economy only 3-4 speak or care for English!\n\n\nAll that is in focus is English speaking international student to do menial labor jobs....to serve baby boomers is focus.\n\n\n\nAll the industrial investment are geared to packaging warehouse and transportation\n\n\nAnd ofcourse real estate based economic target.. so once interest rate up.. the country is doomed...\n\n\nEven the talent immigrant soon leaves the country as they figure out the economy is hollow optics based ...\n\n\n No depth

You are lying to the people about Canada or you don't know. West Africans, aka sub Saharan African are not the favoured group selected for immigration to Canada. For some reason the immigration policy favours Indians from India. 90% of the people favoured now for immigration into Canada are Indians and secondly Latinos from Mexico or some other Latin American country. People from West Africa are a trickle. All this information is on line, Google it. Also Canada is experiencing inflation and everyone is crying about the very high cost of living and finding housing. The housing market is now going through a depression and the amortization rate instead of 30 years is now leaning towards 40-60 years owing to high interest rates. People do your homework. \n\nDo not listen to people who want to blow up themselves making false claims. Also there is not overt racism but it definitely THERE, try promotion to the highest level of management in the work place and see how many years you will plateau till retirement, aka HIT THE CONCRETE SEALING. Bro, I don't doubt your experience but you are definitely an anomaly, aka an exception as you are saying that you are here in Canada living the good life. So many West Africans in Toronto are working with InstaCard, Door Dash and doing Uber and Lyft. It is called the GIG economy. You are not in a stable job. The living standard is high in Canada, meaning even the poorest has access to a quality life through the Social Services govt system. Maybe you think that is living the good life equivalent or on par with a person of European ancestry who is at least 3rd generation Canadian and in over 75% of the cases have had a transference of Generational wealth.

An immigrant friend of mine told me how high the cost of living is and how little people tend to earn. You can't do that with the US next door. People will surely leave.\n\nAs a South African, I'd only be interested in staying in Canada until I get citizenship, so that it is easier to get citizenship or work permits elsewhere.

Liberal people are like: oh I love multicultural cities, so many interesting cultures melting together!\nAlso them: Holy moly! Crimes are everywhere, people just get killed randomly on the streets! I wonder what causes this? Hmm so hard to find out!

I left Toronto 20 years ago after living there for 8 years. I didn’t feel welcome and was worried about my livelihood. A lot of Canadians I’ve met were very close-minded and not friendly at all. They weren’t interested in other cultures and would rather hold onto stereotypes against “others”.

good\nthe more immigrants we invite the higher the populations and the higher the costs of rent go and the worse the housing crisis gets\nmost people here are living in tents, vans, shelters, or crammed in rental units run by slum lords, or living in a home they can't afford and will likely end up losing to the bank\n\nour government doesn't seem to be interested in helping it's people just helping greedy corrupt systems\n\nwe are losing our abilities to have free speech too or even share news clips anymore either, they fear people coming together as a community again to stand up for ourselves\n\nfood prices are unaffordable too and it's insanely cold\ndoes this sound like a place anyone would want to live\nour government sucks

Have been living in Toronto about 5 years . Constant living on Survival mode, do whatever it takes to pay the bills. Very stressful. Not a lot of opportunities. The housing is very expensive. The income and housing is not balance. Example: $1.5 million house, 5%interest, about $8500 months mortgage, plus insurance, bills, payments, food, how many people can afford???.

The Americans have raised the ceiling of the boycott to a larger boycott. They are currently planning to withdraw their balances from the banks in one day in order to shake the economy there and influence the state’s decision to finance the war.\n\n Everyone is trying to take a stand to stop the genocide, even at the expense of their personal interests.\n\n It's not a burger or a coffee.\n\n I wish my people knew!

You don’t have to be rich to live in Toronto. You have to be frugal.\n\nYou having to be more interested in living than keeping up with the Joneses.\n\nThat may not be the whole story. But it is certainly the vast majority.

Bye!!! Goodluck!! Canada isn't what it used to be and I don't blame anyone for wanting to leave. Citizens that were born here are thinking about leaving because of what Trudeau has turned this country into. With his blatant disregard for human and Charter rights, multiple scandals, ethics violations, conflicts of interest, corruption, the elimination of informed consent, propaganda and biased journalism, ridiculous woke ideology, crooked legal system, doubling of the housing market, massive increases in taxes and the cost of everything, homelessness and food bank usage at record highs, the educational system turned into crap, the list goes on and on.

Canada is just a tool for other countries to benefit from, and I don't mean that in the context of immigration, I meant that in the context of everything that matters being owned by non Canadian entities. Politicians don't decide anything, their sponsors do. Their sponsors aren't Canadian nor do they have any Canadian interest past the exploitation of our people and resources. This country is the poster child for wasted potential.
2023-11-07 0
If anything this shows these people have no interest in being Canadians and assimilating into our culture. They’re just looking for the biggest pay cheque they can find. Which is why it annoys me when affirmative action policies select them over Canadians who are committed to their country.

Every big city in the west is going through this because of interest rates, inflation and housing affordability. Toronto is still better off than any large American city. Sure u people can move to the countryside but u won’t have the cosmopolitan lifestyle anymore of professional sports, theatre, galleries, ethnic restaurants…enjoy your boring country life

Wow!!!This guy is the truth..\nI'm guyanese and this what you are spitting here are head on what's happening in my country...Our government isn't interested in creating opportunities for our citizens hence mass migration is a thing despite the super phenomenal growth our country's economy due to oil, despite all this our citizens are still living dirt poor but this act of the government is intentional.Keep the people in that situation so that the can retain power..They come and give the people handout ever so often under the impression that they so care for the people..\nGovernments are their citizens worst enemies especially in those classified 3 world countries but yet these westerners come to those same third world countries and make millions so it leaves one to wonder are we really third world? We are not third world we are being over exploited.

Nobody wants to do the real hard jobs paying less. Everybody wants to be high paid professionals. Professional jobs are limited and sometimes limited artificially by interest groups such as college of physicians.

Are they leaving because the immigration requirements suddenly became too tough? Is that why we're relaxing the requirements?\n\nOr is it because the basic fundamentals required for life are so out of reach in Canada now?\n\nMost immigrants come from places already subjected to the corruption of housing all going to greedy private-interests intent on just renting the housing back to the people in a perpetual state of serfdom. Most immigrants should see what's happening in Canada plainly, and know to avoid it and move on for greener pastures.\n\nWe could always green our pastures, instead of just focusing on Trudeau's stupid pipelines and all else.

Trudeau government is creating the inflation and then increasing the interest rates to fight against the inflation. \nAs a result, the government managed to take away young people goal of buying a house. Trudeau destroyed so many family values that even his wife left him.

Housing costs, inflation are not just a Canadian issue. I am old enough to remember when interest rates went through the roof in the 80's and people lost their homes, and jobs were hard to come by including for my family. But things got better and they will again. For those who came here and were welcomed into the Country, and now want to leave, its probably for the best, for them and for the Country, They were not happy in their home Country, moved here, now are not happy here and want to move again. My parents were immigrants, they stuck it out through the good and the bad.

People do believe immigrants can contribute. Canadians are not opposed to immigrants but the pace of immigration, the housing shortage, lack of infrastructure, social services and our health care and the costs of all these services with high interest rates. How many immigrants are skilled trades people and willing to work in construction. What are the barriers to immigrants being employed in these sectors and is this being addressed.

I wish the media would quit quoting MEDIAN home values. That is practically worthless when trying to inform. Median value is just the number that is halfway between the lowest and highest. Mean value is the average of all home values. Mode is the most repeated value. Buying a house for $400,000 extinguishes my interest in buying another house. When I retire, maybe I'll sell everything and buy an RV and go nomad. No property tax.\n\nOut of all the Canadian Provinces, I think I would move to Alberta. But retiring to Nova Scotia sounds pretty good.

Credentialing of the educational status of the immigrants is a very big challenge. People spend good time and money to earn degrees,in other countries but all of a sudden they become zero in canada.....\nHousing has become a big gamble for Canadian policymakers, and builder mafia and the crown land...immigrants bring huge sums of money and even then cannot afford a reasonable house in canada...\n..now the new rental building plan .of the Canadian government is another challenge for the immigrants and will decrease interest of the new immigrants
