Just like eating what you want to eat, living where you want to live is an equal right given to all people around the world.Therefore, it is classic racism to prevent people from coming to the Canada from certain countries.

Im in BC . I got rid of the tenants cuz they would be late. Filled 15 non payment / late payment notices with the tenancy branch and delivered to tenant. The tenancy branch did absolutely NOTHING. 8 months later and loosing $36, 000 I made the decision to never rent ever. I got Airbnb license and am glad I made the right choice. I make the same rental income with no headache, and less use of the house. My two friends who had rental properties just stopped renting and sold them and put their monies into other businesses. Id say if you are renting, sell them and do something else cuz its a no win situation in canada. These politicions know there are more renters to give them the votes.

I’m not Muslim but I can understand some of these reasons why you’d want to leave Canada…Canadas not merely diverse anymore it’s diluted, money & bills culturalism is the real identity…it’s hard then ever to acquire personal wealth in the socialist nation. Still one of the cleanest & safest though…isolated crimes yes, bigoted & discriminatory somewhat but the irony is it’s mostly from the new immigrants that bring it from their own war torn etc countries. I don’t thing anybody loves the cold.

Scapegoating? It's simple supply and demand, and nothing can change it. Socialism won't fix it, importing impoverished people won't fix it, legislation won't fix it. You have to attract people with the proper skillsets to make the country and city better. Having a booming population and no room to grow doesn't do that. The California Bay Area and Los Angeles area has already seen the problems this causes, companies and skilled workers are moving to places that they can afford to live and build companies. With more people comes less opportunities, Canada needs to learn from the mistakes of others. Do not take everyone, take those who want a better life but can also give back to the country.

A Chinese lady launched a registry for bad tenants in Canada. Most of the data is pulled from BC Courts and Ontario LTB. If a landlord files paperwork about a bad tenant at the board, it will appear in the registry. Landlords can use it to vet prospective tenants. Its free. She created it after a bad experience she had on her rental property in Richmond, BC. She works in IT so pulled it together.

We have to acknowledge that not all cultures are equal or should be praised. This forced incompatible integration with the pro-backwards cultures ruins it for everyone, especially legit immigrants who want to integrate and bring positive cultures, skills, and work ethic to Canada.

Sorry but Job seekers take away the jobs of citizens. IF YOU WANT business creators/entrepreneurs then yea, but job seekers take away the jobs. Its not rocket science.

Sorry, Canada is not just Toronto. There's enough space for everybody's... The solution is anywhere but Toronto(Ontario) for newly arrived immigrants.

I really hope the Canadian government can understand that immigration is not the problem but the allocations. There should be more medium size cities in Canada like US and by allocating immigrates to those area the population will then grow in a heathy way.

Why do people say when people are crossing either from Mexico or Canada into America, but in reality is both countries are both in America. America is a continent the United States is a country but America is actually a continent. America has a bunch of countries. It has Canada, United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, and a few other American countries so why do people in the United States and the rest of the world call the United States America, but reality is when you say America you could be talking about any other country. The only solution to this is government should freeze bringing immigrants and pathway for students to become immigrants for few years until Canada overcomes with it's own poverty. Majority of people do not have a standard life in Canada now. Canadian born children have hard time to find jobs and their future is uncertain now. Saying that “to many people are chasing apartments” is not the cause of real estate prices increasing and that the decay of social services and lack of infrastructure is just nonsense Canada has increased the public service sector by 150k job since 2000s it’s the fastest growing sector of job since 2020

With some news reports there is growing number of these migrants who are crossing over the Canada-U.S.A. border, illegally entering the United States.

Canada government should not bring any people for the next 4 years. And if they bring people they should stay other provinces for atheist 5 years not Ontario province specially TORONTO.

I'm Italian and seeing this title I can't help but laugh. First of all, Canada belongs to the natives of the country, that doesn't include us, Europeans or anyone else. Native Canadians have a reason to be against us taking their land.

Trudeau and the ignorant people who vote for his lies and his NDP coalition have failed Canada. A whole generation of young people will have to give up on the dream to own a home thanks to the choices of voters for the past 9 years. Liberal rule under Paul Martin was not like this, neither under Conservative management of Harper who carried us through the 2008 collapse. It’s not safer. lol. There’s still murders happening here. My ex was rapped and murdered last year. I live in Woodstock Ontario more serial killers here than the rest of the country. lol and it is compact. Most of Canadas population is in sourthen Ontario. Not many people live more then 2 hours away from border.
