Trudeau is the reason why no one wants to come to Canada and others want to leave. I’ve never voted liberal and Trudeau is the reason why I never will. I’m waiting on the rest of Canada to wake up and realize the damage Trudeau has done to our country and stop voting on someone based on looks. Canadian authorities offer nothing but lies and misinformation when it comes to relocating to Canada, they offer all kinds of wonderous programs and relocation assistance to leave you high and dry with nothing - Canada is becoming an economic wasteland which offers no prospects and no future. Housing and rental markets are a joke. Health care system is a joke...... I spent 7 years waiting to sign on with a family GP. The employment markets is a total joke with wages being stagnant for around 10 years. As an immigrant your home country qualifications won't be recognized by Canadian employers and used as another excuse to offer you a pathetically low wage. Then there's the never ending bureaucracy if you want to relocate or establish a new business...... the only thing that seems to thrive in Canada is political corruption..

When a deportation order comes down it should happen within a week and then they can appeal the permanence of it from wherever they end up at their cost. That Canadian Taxpayers have to fund these appeals is ridiculous.

Very kidding same reason still used by Canadian employers for job seekers without local working experience today when moving to Canada more than 20 years ago. Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. They just want you come to spend money for paying higher rent, living expenses to make economy grow. Their middle class population is dying everyday. It will be getting worse and worse in the coming future, believe or not. Good luck new Canadian immigrants.

The situation is not the fault of the students or the Indian students. It's solely the fault of the Canadian government because no Indian student can come to Canada without a student visa. They are accepting so many students only for financial gain. This is a result of corruption. But unfortunately, all the hate will go towards Indian students even when it's the government's fault. Many students have been misled by Canadian colleges, they have invested a significant amount of money and contributed to the Canadian economy, only to find themselves unable to secure employment. As a result, they are left with no choice but to return to India and confront their families and communities. This is a major factor contributing to the high number of students returning to India in unfortunate circumstances even suicide.

Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it. As an Indian I feel your frustration feeling like stranger in your nation is very sad. ? Fellow Indians seeing this there is Malayalam saying that when you got to a land where they eat vipers you must eat it's middle portion. So try to become a Canadian don't turn Canada to India.

the fact they don't adapt to the culture is the problem they come here and expect us to cater to them. this is especially apparent in richmond, bc where there is so many chinese that a lot of signage and businesses are exclusively mandarin, meaning a lot of jobs require you to speak a foreign language taking jobs away from canadians

Hi True North, I'm from India not in Canada ?. if they were promised to give PGWP after course completion and they received that and now they are asking for further extension then yes send them back. But if the PGWP was not even granted to them in the first place then it's a scam, the Canadian government has to give what was promised. They contributed to your economy in dollars (which is not easy if someone is coming from India) they deserve to earn in dollars as well. Also, some students took loans as well . However, I understand Canadian citizens' frustration too but it was the Canadian government's mistake when they invited immigrants just for the sake of money.

Who is canadian really? The crowd that migrated from Europe years ago are dwindling in number because either they did not have children or married other races which then diversified with each generation. So ,what happened was other country folks started coming, produced many kids that grew up and produced more kids. Hence, the white population decreased and asian,chinese,and african ( and others) population increased.

Deport my god what happened to Canada. These people only associate with their own and block us out. Come on really housing has gone un afordable. You can find many family's under one roof. Housing is not reachable for young Canadian family's who want a back yard. Housing that was $15,000 or so is $500,000 up to un reachable a crap tear down I seen was $535,000. And you need to build a new house. That use to be around $60,000 to $120,000. Canadian family's don't have a chance to have normal priced housing any more because of over immigrants. This is too much all at once ...Canada knew it had a shrinking aging population last century..plenty of time to have a gradual tapered immigration. Having too many come in at the same time is just plain dumb when the country was not ready with all social services and housing . Sorry, my parents immigrated to Canada in the 80s from communist Poland and they never received a penny of assistance from the government or taxpayer. Immigrants are supposed to come with a skill set they can sustain themselves from. you know, I have worked with temps in BC for over four years. They come in/phone in and ask for temp work, but here is the thing,....they don't want to do construction work. they want a company to oblige their school schedules, warehouse, forklifting only at 25 to 30 an hour. Its a scam to get PR.....they are not citizens, they are visitors. Ever single one of these students I've met ALL of THEM feel they're entitled to the same right and privileges as Canadian born citizens. Its just twisted. \nOur government is being played HARD.

Sadly we have extremely weak leaders in Canada. Our Canadian young people thanks to DEI can’t find summer work so they can afford the next semester at school. They came under false pretences. They are not Canadian citizen's, what entitlement. Our country should not allow other countries people to come to Canada for school then think they can just stay. All international student's should have to go back to their countries by law. If they want to apply from their own countries go ahead as they then will have to have back ground checks like any other person who wants to come to Canada.

Canada is a corporation and I guess the more immigrants WE have then the GDP looks better. I am a Canadian and my mother was born here and my grandmother came to Canada in 1907 from the USA when she was 7 years old. I was born in the 1940s and brought up in rural surroundings. Back then We had traditional beliefs and I had farming background. Connection of relatives and helping our neighbours were how We lived. I became a schoolteacher. I saw that in 1954 when I went to school that learning was not natural and it was fear based. Then I completed a dip. of ed psy and then I decided that if I ever wanted to help change the system that I would require at least an m. ed. - leadership. I knew the university I went to would not be able to say no to me when I applied to get into this program. However, I was too much of an negative influence on the younger students and had to finish the last couple of classes at home and which I did. Today, the families have been divided, people do not connect or communicate properly and I have to question what living skills did I learn? Instead, my head was filled with propaganda which sadly, I've had to relearn. I say, stay in your own country and fix it there. Indian has some wonder ancient wisdoms for healing and health. The OWNERS of our nations like the banking families realize that when new immigrates come in that they assimilate more, and the older generations begin to question what THEY were taught and why. I remember when say a barn burned down or one had to be built that neighbours would help build the barn for the farmer. Then we would all celebrate and the women would get together and cook the food and we would have a barn dance. Life was simple then, but connection was authentic and we didnt lose ourselves. We must know ourselves and our history or we are lost and so many people live in chaos and ignorance. Learn to become our Divine selves. Learn to understand that WE are living in a fictional world when We are educated to be who we are not.

They all have fake admissions letters to Canadian academic institutions there are unscrupulous agents in India who are sending these students abroad to Canada using fake documents… this is what is really going own know they don’t want to leave so they are doing this ?. I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

This is just the beginning, once a precedent is set these protests will go all over in Canada. All these students are coming for only one purpose, ie. to get Canadian PR. Once this precedent is set, world over immigration consultants will sell this an easy opportunity to settle in Canada...come as student, Strat working right away, do some protests and bingo, get the PR.

Go home international students. Work on making your home country so good that you will never want to come back....because you are creating problems here for native-born Canadians by clogging up our health care system, our schools, our housing, and our national identity. Make India great, so that you don't want to leave. Leave our food banks alone; you were supposed to come here with enough money that we didn't have to support you.

International students is another way to bypass our immigration laws as weak as they are and jump to the front of the line ahead of those people who filled out all the forms got all the health tests paid all the fees and wait years to come to Canada legally. I am speaking as an Indian, who lived and worked in Thailand for 2 years, and now will be moving to Europe on a specialist skills visa. Indians as immigrants have been a productive addition to any country worldwide, compared to other nationalities. But the only exception case is in Canada. \n\nThe reality is, in Canada, the majority of immigrants are only from a specific part of India (Punjab), and most of these people are deluded, uneducated and unskilled. My only thoughts is Now a days, ONLY INDIAN's are hired everywhere, such as Tim hortons,security,best buy Banks,Senior Care agency,100 % ALL Canadian Business Sectors are ALL INDIANS, where are the Diverse culture,when only INDIANS are hired. Such as in Tim hortons, All will be INdIANS, All the Agencies have a INdians in Human resources and they hires only Indians. Indians are hired in 7 days after coming to Canada, everything is negotiaged from Upper level,thats their statement.For us, canadian citizens,in 2011, we had to wait 7 long moths for work permit and we were not allowed to work.Some according to my friends,only Indians'are hired,people who are canadian citizens had to wait in big line for a job. Indian dont have to wait just coming here after 7 days, they get job or hired. If one Indian's work in one office,there will be 10 Indians next week. Where are the Diverse culture now?

It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

I lost very good friends over the years because they were not able to secure work visas after working, but its fair. Canada's system and social welfare has to be protected, Canadian jobs have to be protected and prioritized for Canadians first. No international student has a right to stay or live here past their studies. They can come back when they secure a work permit.

They don't care about Canada and its locals, and culture, and native languages (english & french). The proof is that when they come they cloister themselves, continue speaking their native languages and basically just ignore the local Canadians or ridicule them in their native language. Bottom line is they're just here to make money, and they don't really care who they step on (taking jobs from local Canadians).

The man's of these temporary students are completely unreasonable and obviously many did not come to Canada to learn Canada has to show some balls now and until Canadians have a home to live in a job an educational opportunities a home to live in until these obligations are met and Canadians and former residents have all that they need only then should we be taking in others

As for taking truck driving jobs, they'll work for shit wages. No Canadians want the crap that comes with this job. Make the trucking jobs worthwhile and you'll have people wanting them.
