Fix the money and financial systems in Canada to support the citizens of Canada first and then Canada can take in as many immigrants that want to immigrate to Canada. The primary issue of Canada is that its population is drastically low and if Canada is to exist into the future the citizens of Canada need to redress the financial systems of Canada and then turn into itself to manage its resources for supporting Canada's citizens first and then use the excess of resources for trade to other countries like the USA and Europe and Asia. Until that is done Canada will continue down the path of oblivion.

Bringing talent from around the world is NOT the root cause of the housing crisis. \n\nOther variables such as increased taxes, lack of policy around banking rules, lack of goverment grants/funding for businesses (coming out of COVID or even startup companies) etc etc are attributing to the housing crisis.\n\nWorking with others from around the world coming into this country has actually been a blessing in that it fosters healthy competition within the workplace and society.\n\nLocal born citizens do not all know the meaning and value of work ethics. \n\nWhat a joke and ignorant statement that immigrants are causing housing crisis and strain on health care system.\n\nThe system of Healthcare is broken. System does not discriminate it is just inefficient based on those governing it.\n\nGet the government to actually do their jobs and govern this country.\n\nI welcome more immigrants as they bring new values, new paradigms, work ethic, mentality of care to others, and in the workplace.\n\nI have seen firsthand our citizens abuse immigrants and house them in unethical conditions---but you don't mind taking their money though right? Situation of the attitudes of Visa officers and other officers in China is horrific. You don’t get visa or other certificates even after you submitted all. Just they tell you to apply and take Visa and other fees but later deny it and take 6-8 months To even deny. You feel stuck, and helpless. You don’t raise voice otherwise they will anyways not entertain if you say a word. Many times you feel stuck to be Indian Citizen. I love my country and always fight others for defending it on many issues, but what’s my mistake to suffer and feel stuck just because of being Indian. Why I am not getting simpler documents easily, which is my right. Is democracy a joke? They told to get single status certificate but in India so called IAS officers don’t know about it and throw us out as soon as they hear it. Even before throwing us out they let us come multiple times to their office to just meet them , so that they can throw us out by demeaning the integrity and regret being Indian Citizen.

Well done. My family can be traced in Canada to 1807, or earlier. I have lived my life in the same Province that I was born. And the main objection a Canadian citizen might use to consider moving away is because of the high rate of migration, both legal and illegal. When population was 32M we allowed 25K legal migrants. At 40M we are expected to absorb 1M new migrants into a system that has sent most manufacturing jobs overseas, abused taxes and Parliament and many existing social systems are used to support the added burden. So the reason resident Cdns may seem standoffish is because the addition of a new migrant makes their job that much harder and further reduces the chances of home ownership or having a family. In one Province the average legal immigrant is able to import 23 members of their immediate family. In a Province of 4M, there exists Medical identity Cards for 8M. The country is divided and there is nothing which brings unity. The decline in morality has spanned a new generation of corruption at all levels

The problem is the US, we need to fix our problems at home with immigration first!!!! \nWe have immigrants on the waiting list, doing the right thing by following the law!!! Waiting in line to have there case and situation heard.\n\n Immigrants from the 60s 80s never got free housing free food were never allowed to enter the country the way the immigrants today are just entering and they're staying in 5 star hotels in New York City never in the country's history has it been seen.\n Never in the country's history has resources from US citizens been given to immigrants I have entered illegally.\n And now if you are from Venezuela you're ahead of the line ahead of all the people that've been waiting to legalize their status these people are just getting documents faster than everybody else why is that.\n We need to fix the situation in our country first and take care of the people that are in line doing it the right way.

I am one of those after and 33 years in Canada .I am 70 years old and still working to make living. Last week I watched our government meeting. They want to help Canadian citizens help with heating expenses with heat pump. Just think how long will be to install to each house heat pump? ( first cost and Canadian climate no works anyway)No one this people didn’t say we are oil country just built refinery and make heating cheaper. On thanksgiving I was sick and go to the emergency in Winchester hospital and after 2 hours waiting the nurse told me today is waiting time to see doctors is 12 hours and I went home. That other reason.

what has been shared in this video is nothing that people are not aware of. Everybody knows that you have to do all the work yourself,no maids, cooks, etc. like India.These facts have been there for years, nothing new about them. If people want to got there for further education, it is different, but then Canada is not all that good as far as higher education is concerned, there are better countries to choose from with better weather conditions and better lifestyle and high class education. Who would want to live in a cold and inhospitable country, payig through your nose. Here in India, if we fall sick even with just cough / cold, we can go to the nearest doctor and get medicines, sometimes we can even just ask the pharmaists to help us to choose some medicines for pharmasist here are half doctors.\nEven our standard of living has become so good, that we don't even feel like shifting to a new country. We have metros, good buses both AC as well as non AC, good trains, good resturaunts, hotels, what is it that we don't have here?\nIt is always better living as a first class citizen in our own country, than living like second class citizen elsewhere. The attraction and the charm of living abroad is no longer there.\nOur country has improved so much and so fast in the last 10 years, we have good bathrooms in schools and other public places, which was not there previously. Only drawback in our country is the traffic and infrastructure, which will also become better, but will take time, because of our country's population.\nIn fact you will find servants and watchmen all coming to work in a bikes or scooters, which was unthinkable some years back. Their life has changed for the better, they live in rented flats/or on lease, their children study in good schools and so on, and they dress also so well, that you cannot differentiate between them and the people they work for.\nMany of the so called advanced countries do not have many well educated people like our country, the children there are not as knowledgeabe like Indian kids, their knowledge is limited to the town they live in, they don't know anything about the world outside.\nAnd now with the Khalistani terrorist living freely there it is all the more dangerous. And on top of it, it is a country ruled by a dumb Prime Minister, who has to give asylums to all good for nothing, ( and all only for votes) uneducated people whose only job is to sell drugs to kids and indulge in terrorism and threaten people.\nGood thing, you have come back, for there is nothing like sweet home.

Just change the tax system like USA and china. You have to pay any income tax even if you are living outside of the country. It is win win situation. Everyone can get canda citizen and the country can get free tax ?

Europe is a scam first you come and you need to learn the language which already you started in your country then working and working and your salary can just pay your bills and if you are lucky you have some money to go for a cheap vacation ... after that if you want to move to another country in Europe it is the same like to move to the US ... the schengen area is good only for citizens of Europe that is all any reisdent is not allowed to work anywhere else iit is like a prison to use you and then throw you back to your home country when your visa is canceled .... they have many rules many laws many bureaucracy it is a nightmare i hope i move out to canada very soon and i will never comeback to Europe even for a holiday !

I didn't know about the thing of the sik'hi knife that might be carried around public places in many countries. Don't deceive Africans to move to Canada Infact they should acquire some funds to start a business or study to go back to Africa and move back to Africa entirely. Fix your countries in Africa stay there US and Canada ain't gravy more many African Americans are moving back To Africa as a matter off fact. India's view is that Vienna convention gives them room to remove diplomatic immunity as India had requested parity and waited weeks for Canada to initiate action before removing immunity. An unanswered question in my mind then is that why does Canada think they will be able to get out of this difficult moment in a strained relationship with India while their diplomats portray India in a bad light with invalid, vindictive, and targeted messaging in diplomatic meetings they are doing with every friend country on earth. That's diplomatic flight with India is on. I think that is a wrong strategy by Canada and they should not bring up this topic with any country, absolutely not in the media, till India closes doors to discuss it. Whether India is right or wrong, this approach would make the difficult moment even more difficult bringing more sufferings to citizens on both sides. It is no brainer - more immigrants imminently return to home countries crashing Canada economy in many ways from education to whole supply-chain. India would also shunt economy growth. 20 years ago, already a Canadian citizen I came back to my country of birth. The Canadian dream became more of a nightmare. I faced so much bigotry and arrogance from so many Canadians. Behind that smile and political correctness was so much contempt against newcomers. Holding a U of T master’s degree meant nothing as my hands holding it were not as white as the ones who were eventually employed. My accent, considered “nice” as a tourist, became a motive for rejection and disdain when trying to integrate to that society. It’s no surprise that many of us are not willing to stand such scorn.

Those are the good ones who wants better life, which is a a shame…..the criminals ones are sticking around because we are a weak country with little law enforcement so the average citizen is pray for them to use.

Coming from a Canadian citizen, bad government policies all around for the last 8 years is a major reason, but also Canada has become a culture of virtue signaling, leading to valuing foreign aid, migrants and refugees over its own citizens, also accommodating of oversea values and beliefs that immigrants brings into the country over its own founding values and culture.

And this system was then in turn emulated by UK, Germany, Australia, France, Japan, Scandinavia etc.. \n\nThe USA, is the only developed 1st world country who has not developped one.\nThere's alot of conversation that it should classify as a 2nd world coutry due to its lack of Univ.HC and being 47th in Public education, high crime per capita and wealth disparity %.

Citizens that were born here are thinking about leaving because of what Trudeau has turned this country into. With his blatant disregard for human and Charter rights, multiple scandals, ethics violations, conflicts of interest, corruption, the elimination of informed consent, propaganda and biased journalism, ridiculous woke ideology, crooked legal system, doubling of the housing market, massive increases in taxes and the cost of everything, homelessness and food bank usage at record highs, the educational system turned into crap, the list goes on and on.

As a Canadian, I want to leave. This country is shameful and the politicians are corporate puppets who don't care about citizens or social stability. No one I know owns a house (we're in our 30s in Toronto) and very few people can even save up due to rising cost of living. The censorship and blocking of news is so dystopic. This is just a sinking ship at this point and I want my kids to have a viable future.

Being a citizen of a country requires time, money, heart and sacrifice. If you're only here to get the benefit of a high paid career and a big house, you're not Canadian even if technically you have citizenship and if you choose to leave, that's fine.

Just increase the number of years to stay in the country before becoming citizen. It is that simple. 3yrs to get citizenship is too cheap. When you handout citizenship on a platter of gold, people will leave after getting the passport.

We can’t lump all immigrants into one single group. But there is one group that are admitted I find repulsive. This group have no intention whatsoever to become Canadians. That is to stay, work, raise family, integrate into Canadian culture and be contributing citizens of the country. This group would spend the minimum required time to become eligible for Citizenship, park their dependence here, utilizing all our social services, including health and education for children. The head of the family then returns to the home country to earn money without paying our taxes as they are deemed non-residents. At retirement age, these non-resident “Canadians” would return as retirees to claim our social services , including “free” healthcare. There are at last count approximately 250,000 “Canadians” in Hong Kong, I am sure there are a lot more in other countries. Whenever there are political or war trouble these people would scurry back, sometimes even demanding Ottawa to send airplanes for them.\nI don’t believe in “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian”. You are a Canadian only if you fulfill the responsibilies of a Citizen.

There is No labour shortage! Data shows there's more people looking than there is work. People are lining around the block for low-paying jobs. Dollararrma had 2000 applicants in Waterloo for a lead cashier job. I've never known the job market to be so competitive with multiple tests, assessments and interviews for entry-level gigs. And its getting increasingly hard to get a job without speaking a foreign language. Why is mass immigration needed if they take our jobs and housing? The government says we need their tax dollars to support social programs but our social programs have declined a lot in the past decades despite mass immigration. It costs millions to process these immigrants. All immigration should be halted immediately and the processing costs used to conduct a study to determine what if any benefits we really get from this. Most countries don't take in half as many immigrants and manage just fine. People are struggling to find work and housing and the economy seems to be suffering not benefitting from immigrants. I feel for people in war-torn countries but we have been than generous to immigrants and our own citizens are hurting as a result.

How about we make it easier for Canadians to get training in high demand fields before draining other countries of their best and brightest citizens? Immigration should not be used as a substitute for education.

And alot of immigrants come to Canada to get that duel citizenship and then leave. Then whenever they find themselves in trouble abroad or back to thier country if birth, they conveniently become Canadian citizens again. Otherwise these people have no actual patriotic sense to Canada.

Why doesn’t the Canadian government focus on its own citizens to grow the population and economy if that is their major goal. Why not make it more affordable for young Canadians to start a family? We spend $6B a year on bringing in immigrants, why not increase the child benefit with these funds? Why not teach good family values in Canadian schools and promote healthy relationships? Instead our government lets in young adults who aren’t vetted and want to work in retail/tech and bring their parents their grandparents their uncles and aunts over from their home country who then live off of CPP after not paying one penny into it. (This is what I have seen in my town, may not be representative of all of Canada)

Well, I’m already a Canadian citizen but felt to go back to my home country…Killing myself to do 2 or 3 jobs and pay more tax…the higher the income the higher the tax…couldn’t even afford to buy a house??

Canada's immigration used to be based on bringing in skilled people who could add something to our country , now they are letting everybody in especially people that don't have employable skills and once they receive citizenship they bring Mom and Dad who after being here for a few years and not contributing to paying taxes are allowed the old age pension , free healthcare that tax paying citizens have pay towards their entire working life , now that doesn't sound very fair to me . People wonder why others are so bitter towards immigration , I think this pretty much sums it up . Exactly how many taxi drivers does one country need .

Canada is completely falling apart. It's not surprising so many people are leaving including naturally born citizens. We have insane shelter costs, a healthcare system that is beyond broken, low wages, high taxes, rising crime rates everywhere. There is no future for anyone under the age of 30 at all in this country. Canada will be a third world country at the current rate by 2035.

Yes when the free benefits run out it's on to the next country for more free benefits. If you are coming to Canada you are coming to become Canadian just like the rest of us. The average Canadian is living paycheck to paycheck and don't receive any of the free benefits that newcomers receive when they come to Canada. Because of Trudeau’s socialist liberal policies and the national media support of such policies,we as Canadians don’t have anyplace to go. But as an “irregular traveller” you can become a citizen of our land and go back to where you came from. As long as the Canadian taxpayer will look after you wherever you are and whatever you need. I wish as a Canadian we would have that kind of support in our own country.

So we don't have the financial resources to support them, we have no housing for them and likely won't for the next 100 years based on our current building rate and we don't have jobs that pay enough to afford the exorbitant rents. So it's better for everyone if they go somewhere else where they can live peacefully. We have made Canada an immigration unfriendly country and conservative governments continue to make sure that that stance is maintained by not building affordable housing or investing in supports for citizens and only giving money to close political corporate allies. Most Canadians don't want immigrants here at all if they don't have jobs and can't afford to live without burdening the social system.

This is not a bad thing, I miss the Canada of 10 years ago. It is unrealistic for immigrants to think that they can take a job away from a Canadian citizen. Ask yourself, as a Canadian in a foreign country, would I be treated as well as they are in Canada. In most cases, no.

Why Canadian government invites immigrants to live thier country that can't solve thier own citizen's problem

Is it not the same Canada it's citizens and immigrants are complaining about how expensive it's becoming with the issue of inflation also? \nNo country is easy\nBe it Europe or the US \nEach has their pros and cons\nFor Europe, just don't be lazy. Be determined to learn the language.
