A few things do not make sense. For example, they have their own translator to lie for them, How is it possible that there is no counter measures in placed? i.e. immigration's own translator. lazy is a good word! I know what my brother went through in order to immigrate to Australia many years ago. You have to have a clear record, no criminal convictions, paid all your taxes, qualified with the correct credentials they required, eg. IT expert, mechanics, Doctors etc., have sufficient money to live for 6 months, and or a job waiting for you, and sufficient savings. His family ahd to wait 6 months to join him whilst he established a home and job. Possibly these are people either hoping for welfare and freebies, or running from the law? Why don't all the nations like US and Canada try to help fix what is happening from the places these people are fleeing, especially if they are murder capitals? They can recruit these migrants to form coalitions to rebuild their nation. What if they are really are going to suffer there, without outside intervention, by being recruited, instead, into gangs or be killed or raped? If we send troops to the middle east for our vested interest, then don't we also have at least some vested interest to send troops in Honduras and El Salvador? We can prevent the entire population from migrating, prevent people from being exploited and hurt while traveling or living illegally and the taxpayers and citizens won't have to pay for court costs, education, healthcare and welfare. There are plenty of things our nation can do to uplift our own destitute and out of luck an alone citizens...with that money. With the money now saved, it can be diverted to cover the costs of our troops, counselors, educators in those nations. Then it is possible and foreseeable to reunite all the undocumented immigrants back to their now safer home countries. I understand why they flee and also understand why the US and Canada cannot absorb these large population of people, and they have the right to determine who is invited in, so....why can't there be more permanent solutions? I feel, certain pathetic political groups are playing these migrants, the law-abiding citizens and others in their game of chess. Lives are not pawns for chess. Is there a hidden path for drugs, money, prostitution that is being quietly supported? Are certain businesses lobbying in the millions and billions to get cheap labor? Is that why this problem is not finally being solved but kept alive for so many years? There are basic solutions that have not been tried in earnest. You cannot just bring everyone in and you cannot just turn your face to the problems these undocumented people face... I feel like much is not being discussed about this situation....Something else is going on that they are not covering...

Refugees are supposed to stop in the first country they can. El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, USA, Canada. Did they get turned down three times before arriving in Canada? Canadians will have to pay to help house these folks during what will likely be prolonged hotel stays (not just days or a few weeks, but possibly months), it may be better to just help them by paying for a one-way plane ticket back to their original point of origin (or to the nearest safe country to it). It's hard for a native Indian to get a job. I am clean-cut, well dressed and non drinking. I put resumes for a year at every job that came across my path that was a possibility. You folks who always claim racism, helps to keep it alive.. It may not be the color but the way you act in an establishment. I'm white and had on an old leather jacket ove day while shopping which possibly made me look needy. That day while walking through different stores at the mall, I was followed by store personal and also by the security team while walking between stores. After not seeing what I had been looking for in all of the other stores was a new leather jacket but not seeing what I wanted in all of those places that I visited, I walked to Wilson house of Leather and finally found that new jacket. Best of all it was on sale. I've lost some weight since those days but I still have my leather coat which is a bit big for me now and starting to look like the coat that got me followed that day at the mall. Not everything is color when you get those looks and I would say it's more on the way you present yourself. \n\n Funny how it was during the times of the HURRICANES were the riots and thefts were done by people od color. Not all blacks riot and loot but those who do are a reflection of the thinking of certain races on this earth. I am actually shocked to see this information. I did not know. I travelled to Vancouver & Vancouver Island 5X. 2X with my African-American girlfriend. I didn't see any biased behavior at all. Most the retail places i am not sure.. and I am not going to say that racism doesn't happen in these stores because i don't know for certain.. but i am going to post something to think about.. If their best buy is like the best buy where I live.. I knew people who worked best buy.. and certain floor reps get paid at least in part via commission.. or at least they use to.. typically the ones that approach you are the ones working to make sales.. they will usually only do so in certain areas though.. such as Computer area, home entertainment area, appliance area, phone area, POSSIBLY game area particularly if they notice you looking at the consoles, and occasionally I get approached when i am looking at personal entertainment stuffs such as the decent headphone and ipod/mp3 player area... If you stick to CDs, movies and stuff that you can just grab .. typically they wont bother you much.. unless you linger there too long.. then a floor rep might think you might need help looking at something.. In my experience they are just overly hover because they have to be.. but unless you are looking at something that is a focus of sales or a board employee finds you .. you almost have to hunt down reps to help you with something..

I'm from a Hispanic background but I was born in the U.S and I do fit the stereotype for a young latina. At the age of 12, I walked into a small convenience store and was instantly kicked out and was accused of stealing a pair of ear buds. I had no bags or backpack on me and was the first time I went there in 2 weeks. It was the first time I was accused to stealing actually. Upon asking how that was possible, I was told that I grabbed the ear buds and walked to the bathroom, wrapped it in toilet paper and then walked out. I haven't even went into the bathroom. It scared me to be honest, I didn't really want to go back to that store since I was afraid the cops would get called on me. To this day, I'm a very studious, I don't wish for my personal record to be marked over racism or false accusations.

The issue is islam, not all muslims.
