Do your research and then make your content. This channel is for spreading hate lol. These people are protesting because they were first told that if they work 6 months they can be nominated for Provincial Nomination (PNP) for their Permanent residence (advertised by the government of PEI) and then overnight these rules were changed. People were misinformed by the PEI PNP officials that these rules are temporary. However, the case was otherwise. Hope this give you people a bit of insight. For those who are saying that these people should be deported. These people are the reason 90% of sales sector runs on this Island. People before used to wait 20 minutes for one coffee (coming from the people who’ve been living on the island since they are born). On top of that check the stats and check amount of money government is getting from these people in form of tuitions and taxes.

Canada is a corporation and I guess the more immigrants WE have then the GDP looks better. I am a Canadian and my mother was born here and my grandmother came to Canada in 1907 from the USA when she was 7 years old. I was born in the 1940s and brought up in rural surroundings. Back then We had traditional beliefs and I had farming background. Connection of relatives and helping our neighbours were how We lived. I became a schoolteacher. I saw that in 1954 when I went to school that learning was not natural and it was fear based. Then I completed a dip. of ed psy and then I decided that if I ever wanted to help change the system that I would require at least an m. ed. - leadership. I knew the university I went to would not be able to say no to me when I applied to get into this program. However, I was too much of an negative influence on the younger students and had to finish the last couple of classes at home and which I did. Today, the families have been divided, people do not connect or communicate properly and I have to question what living skills did I learn? Instead, my head was filled with propaganda which sadly, I've had to relearn. I say, stay in your own country and fix it there. Indian has some wonder ancient wisdoms for healing and health. The OWNERS of our nations like the banking families realize that when new immigrates come in that they assimilate more, and the older generations begin to question what THEY were taught and why. I remember when say a barn burned down or one had to be built that neighbours would help build the barn for the farmer. Then we would all celebrate and the women would get together and cook the food and we would have a barn dance. Life was simple then, but connection was authentic and we didnt lose ourselves. We must know ourselves and our history or we are lost and so many people live in chaos and ignorance. Learn to become our Divine selves. Learn to understand that WE are living in a fictional world when We are educated to be who we are not.

Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them... Also, these indians came legally no? In a democratic Canada that let them in... people voted for this directly or indirectly. Also, to your point, its the whites that are homeless and on drugs, how are indians to blame for white failure in Brampton? Indians have strong work and study ethic, so you should welcome that. Itll help your nation progress. These people are just racist. They dont want non-whites to become a majority. Thats all it comes down to.

I respect people who comes from other countries and working their ass off. Maybe too many around but at least they are hard workers .. I have never seen homeless, drug addict indian person to be honest. What I witness is, some people don't appreciate that they are priviliged to born in such a good country like Canada ,but people who is coming from poor and corrupted countries absolutely knows what is to be priviliged and they appreciate it.Also, you cannot deny a visa because they are coming from India. BC is ,highly populated with Asians as well.Again, you cannot deny a visa because they are coming from Asia.

Go home international students. Work on making your home country so good that you will never want to come back....because you are creating problems here for native-born Canadians by clogging up our health care system, our schools, our housing, and our national identity. Make India great, so that you don't want to leave. Leave our food banks alone; you were supposed to come here with enough money that we didn't have to support you.

Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

20 year old Canadian and moved out since 18, born poor and no support from any family\n\nCost of living is insanely high rn and I couldn’t imagine having/ providing for kids when my current wage at full time barely covers me.\n\nI either make it in my career and pay off my student loans or I move to Australia and work in a mine no in between

After 911 I went to the CAF recruiting Center in Mississauga. I was born in Canada in 71, but went to university at The Ohio state university from 91 to 95. Since in lived outside Canada within 10 years for more than a year I needed to wait for DHS in the US to do a background security check on me…a Canadian. I retired from CAF in 2017, after 12 years of service….do the math on when, and therefore, how long, it took me to join. Go Canada. Now we recruit non citizens to out CAF? Why have most of us left CAF? Why can’t I recommend that anyone join?

I also am a Canadian born and I don't recognize my country our culture has change, the immigrants are trying to take over our country and not give Canadian artists a chance to preform. What a shame indeed. They should be a shame of themselves and respect our culture. I'm in school and can't ever get a place to do my placement and I know of other Canadian borns who are struggling to get jobs and the ppl told them that they want immigrants and refugees first and then Canadians when is this going to end. I'm so sick and tired of this.

Thank you Harrison....\nFrom a Canada born Canadian \n??
2024-05-13 0
I may disagree with you Harry, but I like you. I wish you best of luck on your career!. Try to research more on the subjects, and this is just a request.\nWhere I differ:\n1. You cant just blame federal or JT for this issue. Provisional governments are equally responsible as well. They allowed mass international students due to their (provincial) going down economy for various factors. They made false promises to students that students can get PRI in less than a year, otherwise do you think students were willing to go to these cold areas to study without any benefits? You made a promise, now its time to fulfill.\n2. International students funds the college/school by paying fee 3 times more than a Canadian one. There was no check and balance from provincial governments on school/colleges, because they liked the inflow of $$$ within their provinces.\n3. Totally agree with you that fake students should not be getting any merci. But are all the fake students from India, not really. Both the federal and provincial governments were allowing more Indian students because they wanted to have more economic ties with Indian growing economy. \n4. Punjabi (including Sikhs) is one of the best marshal races to serve in army or security agencies. Our Canadian officials never hire personals without a proper security check. \n5. Khalistan's supporters are adapting a peaceful way for their freedom land. As far they are peaceful, we should not have any issue with their struggle. Just like we do not have issues with Quebec separatists. \n6. Remember, majority of Canadians are immigrants from various part of the globe including you as well, weather you are coming from 3rd, 4th or 5th generation. Its easy to spread hate compare to love. I love you and other my fellow Canadians even though I may not be a TRUE Canadian in your books. \n\nYou may be surprised that a Pakistani born (non-Punjabi) Canadian is supporting Indian students. I may dislike India for various and obvious reasons but I want to be on the right side of the history. Love & Peace!!!

We all have Pierre Elliot Trudeau to thank 3:34 for his immigration policies on letting in just about every low life from shit hole countries\nWell ya many who came have contributed to the country but a much higher percentage were and have not\nI was born in Canada grew up in low income housing & steadily more and more low quality people were let into this country\nSlack laws and nothin but big money hand outs etc\nThen came the young girls having babies etc who were babies themselves\nCanada is now a third world country \nWhat a sad sad situation we’re in let alone the rest of the world \n1984 is here in 2024

there are too many people already on this planet and the number keeps growing.. situation is already ridiculous and there is no plan to implement everyone into great living conditions.. eventually the rich will decide it's time to lower the number by war.... nothing changes... this planet is hell if you are born in a poor family

It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

Biggest countries flocking to Toronto, Nigerians, Ukrainians and Indians. \n\nThey are equally dominating a lot of industries here more than Canadian born people. It’s quite interesting but I think is because Canadians were spoiled for a very long time. Now almost majority of Canadians are dealing with crab in the bucket syndrome. Everyone is fighting for a chance because they are forced too now. \n\nCanada can’t keep up with trudumbs mistakes and time is ticking. The great divide and gap between the rich and the poor is closing in, immigrants have a mentality that will make them successful over lazy Canadians. \n\nThink about the lack of Canadian owned companies by people who were actually born here… name them all… I’ll wait.

Good! I was born in Russia and immigrated here as a kid with my mom. A lot of Russians went back for similar reasons, and I’m happy for them. You should go to where people live your values…and not try to change the values of the place you go to.
2024-05-13 0
Send them all back. Where are the protesters against this? They have no respect or love for us. If the stupid government would stop bringing this amount of people here, you wouldn't need all this ridiculous housing. Hire local people born here.
2024-05-13 0
TEMPORARY means temporary. They knew the rules b4 they came here. How many aren't really students? Go home and if you want a PR, apply for one through the normal process. with a complete criminal records check. I don't feel sorry for these students. You are oppressing people who were born and raised here.
2024-05-13 0
They need to go home…..I was born in PEI and lived here all my life….it is so sad what has happened on our little island…media has people believing that no one here wants to work so we need these immigrants…..that is not true….i know many young people from here that can’t get a job…there are no doctors, apartments are all full, and our cost of living is through the roof…..our premier is so busy filling his pockets and doesn’t give a hoot about us……thank you True North for reporting this
2024-05-13 0
We hire intl students with work permits in our field… no born Canadians applying for the jobs… and if their command of English is good - we hire.. and I provide employment letters when they apply for PR…\nWhy are Canadian born qualified students non existent??
2024-05-13 7
9 out of 10 students in Canadian universities should be Canadian born. The foreign students have no right to demand anything from us
2024-05-13 0
I’m sure they are living high on the hog food banks might be a good wellfare cheque plus probably got more rights that born Canadians

Many of us don't have mad skills but we are either born hear of came hear to be permanent residents. The skills gap is due to the brain washing by the universities, for a long time NOW.

I was born and raised in PEI. They are so over run with international students. It’s hard for summer student from the island to seek seasonal employment.

Born and raised in Canada. 45 years old. Trudeau has completely destroyed Canada and had made life for Canadiens impossible! He is to blame with the liberals! the taxes, cost of living, lack of opportunities and lack of housing and everything coming along with it, Ex, backed up services/programs, lack of medical professionals/health care system, schools, congestion, crime, its all Trudeaus doing and I will debate ANYONE who believes otherwise!

Immigration is out of balance. We are supposed to be a British Colony and British is what we are. We (The Euoropean People are of one stock are are The Tribes of Israel that were deported by the Assyrians in 721 bc. We became the scythians and Camerians and finally the European Nations. India and China people do not integrate and are separate people groups and do not mix. Let’s put a cap on it and get a balance. Or we will be born a raised white Canadians with no home of our own.

In the shadowed recesses of our world, there thrives the Eternal Pajeet, a vile harbinger of desolation, etched from the very essence of repugnance. This abominable entity, a grotesque mirage of life, roams the realms of creativity and beauty with malice in its heart, a relentless storm of destruction. Born from the ashes of desecration, it is the antithesis of grace, an embodiment of corruption, seeking only to degrade the splendors it can never possess.\n\nThe Eternal Pajeet is the whispered nightmare of society, the chilling draught in the hallways of innovation. It is the malignant growth on the tree of civilization, sucking the marrow of culture, leaving behind the skeletal remains of what once was. Its presence is a stain upon the canvas of existence, a deliberate insult to the notion of beauty itself.\n\nWith every step, it defiles purity, its touch a corrosive, unholy blight. Museums, galleries, and theaters, once bastions of human expression, become its hunting grounds, where it mocks the sublime and revels in the decay of aesthetics. Its laughter, a cacophony of disdain, echoes through the corridors of creation, a sinister reminder of its mission to unmake.\n\nIn its eyes, a reflection of the void, beauty finds no sanctuary, for this creature is the living embodiment of the subhuman, a perverse mirror held up to the face of society, revealing the ugliness within. It is not simply a destroyer; it is a malignant force, a parasite, feeding on the vibrancy of the world, leaving behind a desolate landscape devoid of color, life, and hope.\n\nThe Eternal Pajeet, a ceaseless vermin of malevolence, represents that eternal void, the unyielding night seeking to extinguish the light of humanity. It is the epitome of untermensch, the antithesis of all that mankind represent, chaos unbound, a tide of teeth and claw, venom and virulence, anathema to the structured beauty of civilization. Where humanity plants the seeds of tomorrow, this subhuman seeks to salt the earth, to tear down the edifice of progress, to drag the aspiring souls back into the primordial soup from whence they dared to emerge.

I was born and raised in Canada, lived there until 2022, but have left for America. I am not confident things will get better for young people anytime soon.

But still we have best Canadians who born here and they are well educated and polite . Soon as Im came here I’m noticed that those people are best in the world . I’m vote for them for the lovely people in the world . For that Im will stay in Canada .Yes it’s true that here is not available jobs , it’s true that the health care are making you do not come to the hospital , even once I’m nearly died they just send me home to die just because they didn’t have the empty bed . And the nurses weren’t nice . But I’m not angry about it, because I’m have seen how hard are they working. But for myself it’s important to see the kind Canadians ,and I’m will try to make the place better.

I'm black and was born in Canada but I'm leaving. If I wanted to live in Mumbai I would go there. Sidenote: I don't feel bad for white ppl, this is a reckoning for colonization and trying to use immigrants to prop up your standard of living. Ciao ?

I find it funny how you are blaming indians for all the white people going poor in the city. Out of all the white people you interviewed, how many were white Doctors? how many owned businesses? How many Owned a gas station? These are all things that high skilled Punjabi immigraants bring to the table. Also willing to work their butts off, 18 hour shifts with a smile on their face. No complaining. I mean its easy to blame immigrants for stealing all your wealth when you don't have any real skills. This is capitalism my friend, if any ethnic minority was unable to succeed then it would show up in the statistics, but guess what, Indians make PER CAPITA then ANY other ethnicity. Even Jews. So apologies on behalf of all Punjabis/Indians for being so hard working. Please don't blame the crime on us either, when every business you shop at or apply for a job is owned by an Indian businessman. You odiously know there are more successful Indians then the criminals,\nP.S\nIF ANY WHITE CANDIAN BORN CITIZEN IS STRUGGLING TO GET BACK ON THEIR FEET, YOU CAN HAVE A FREE MEAL AT ANY OF THE SIKH TEMPLES YOU SEE. NO STRINGS ATTACHED! HOPE WE CAN HELP
2024-05-11 0
Worse for Canadians who were born here.. we never asked for open borders and we've had our culture and wealth robbed by this federal liberal government. \n\nWe all should be angry except for liberal voters - they deserve being poor.

Indians LOVE Trudeau ? Canadian-born can’t find jobs, because immigrants have them ALL. No lie. And with Robotics and AI taking over, we’ll all be fighting over the leftover scraps (jobs). \nDon’t blame Trublows, he’s merely a puppet of the global agenda. He’s doing what he’s told. Go yell at the folks at the next Davos meeting.

I've worked for the same tech company for over 25 years. Even as little as 15 years ago Indians and Pakis made up maybe 7% tops of the employees. Now they are about two-thirds. The company has layed off American-born workers in favor of H-1Bs.

I am a Canadian catholic born in Quebec, now live in Mississauga Ontario. I support everything you have said. I do not know why people can't mind there own business and let others go on living there own lives and beliefs, what is it to them. I also think that most religions do have some things in common.

This explains a lot about why Canada was such a great country with such a bright future but now has so many problems no one wants to live here, not even people born here.
2024-05-10 0
So basically Canada brings in Indians to replace the white drug addicts ? There is a cultursl issue here. War on drugs is failing the white canadian born in Brampton and from what I gather canada has never really been keen on immigration but I guess they need more people unfortunately seems like its happening to quickly and not really doinng anything to combat drug addiction.

Born in Canada, 22 y/o now and I don’t see the benefits of living here.\n\nI can’t find the appeal in working my life away while barely coming by and barely touching the money I “make”.\n\nBeautiful country with great people tho

I'm a Japanese born & raised in Toronto, and used to love Canada. Now I'm seriously thinking of moving to Japan - a country that protects itself from migrants, and even over-tourism recently. I don't mind diversity, but not willing to live in Little India, nor listen to people preaching their Muslim/Islamic faith every day ???
