I lived in Dubai for 9 years. I think you would like it there, although the cost of living was also high. You may also wish to check out Fujairah. It is located on the east coast of the UAE, on the Gulf of Oman,, about 90 kilometers from Dubai. Cost of living is cheaper there. Muscat, Oman is also worth checking out. Oman has no oil money, so compared to the UAE it is a much lower standard of living, but I would guess cost of living is much cheaper than in the UAE. I have spent some time in Muscat and the people are super friendly.

As somebody who is a European and loves democracy and freedom, I wish you a happy travel to wherever you want to go. I hope it's not a Western country.

I was born and raised here and lived here all my life, but I don't recognize it anymore. It is dirty, not well-kept, has a serious problem with homeless people and customer service is non-existant any where. Food prices are insane, rents are crippling people and as a pensioner I never have any money at the end of the month (and I was a teacher and owned my own home). It is no longer the place I knew and loved, and I wish I could leave.

As a Christian from India, I wish you all the very best. The two places you could consider are Dubai UAE and Malaysia. You have economic prospects and you could feel happy following your religion.

Sir , check out Malaysia, KL is a great country and Muslim friendly of course, but also a tolerant society . Check out the Philippines. I live there part time . On the SW corner of Mindanao (Zamboanga ) great town and 1/2 Muslim) people get along fine there usually. I live up in north Luzon - mostly Christian but Muslims are around too . No hassle and respectful. I don’t know your financial situation, however, in the Philippines, the school system is quite good, and private schools are stunningly excellent. I would definitely check out the Philippines and also Malaysia. Both have a great style of life and it doesn’t cost a fortune to live well. Education is quite good and the medical situation is also quite good. In the Philippines, however you have to select the hospital before you become ill in the Philippines, there is the public hospitals, which is fine for minor, scrapes and cut, but I would recommend a major hospital for anything serious. In Malaysia, the standard of medical care is good throughout the country. You could also consider northern Thailand. Southern Thailand is too much into tourism, but northern Thailand has a good mixture of people and religions. Mainly a Buddhist country, but very tolerant towards Christians, Hindus, and Muslims. As a born and raised Canadian I made the decision to flee my homeland of 42 years the moment that the current regime came to power in 2015. I ended a highly successful, well-paid 20+ year career, sold everything I owned and was gone within six months. I am not a religious person, so that did not factor into my decision, though I knew what was coming since I had lived for years as a member of a minority that was constantly demonized by former Liberal rulers for decades.\n\nI completely understand your reasons for leaving and wish you all the best. Canada was a great place to grow up in and I wouldn't trade that experience for the world, but to say that it is now going through a process of state-funded and engineered societal decay would be an extreme understatement. It breaks my heart to see what's become of my once wonderful nation, but I've resolved to treat it like a deceased parent who lives on in fond memories, but is never coming back.\n\nI hope you find the ideal sanctuary for you and your children away from the madness plaguing the world these days and I am eager to see where your journey takes you. I'm assuming that they will move to a Muslim/Arab country and not to any Western country. In fact, I wonder why muslims move to non-muslim countries and then complain about how they are treated. I wish most muslims were so peaceful and tolerant like this couple.

I wish i could muslim country too and enjoy all the privileges i have. I am a a Queer muslim and it was not easy. I am very appreciative of the opportunity that is given to me in the west and not being judged at a work place how i may appear. I am glad you made this video and making the best decision for your family. Even as queer peeson i am supporting drag queen story tiem but you made it sound like it is happening every library and every where. I only read it in news paper and never actually saw it in reality. Leaving Canada doesn't do anything for supporting for Palestinians. You could have used your voice and voting power in support of Palestinians. I do understand it may be best for your children.
