Why are all these Indian people all of the sudden starting showing up in Canada and US? What’s wrong with India? I thought they didn’t like Canadian and Americans? Blame the Indian government?

Why did he say he came here for a better life but he’s an international student. Didn’t he come here to study? I’ve thought about going to another country to study medicine but I have no intentions of staying there for a better life. He didn’t say a single thing about having to go to school with no where to live. He didn’t mention a single thing about studying and school. Just that he came here for a better life. If life was so hard back where he’s from , how did he afford international student tuition which is in the 10s of thousands per semester?

It's about culture, Indians by and large don't assimilate. Canada, is not India, it's Canada, we should not see our people or culture washed out. I'd say the same thing if white people flooded India and didn't assimilate. India should be full of Indians, not white people.

When I was on a student visa to study nursing in the usa, I returned my student visa when I was done my studies and graduated. I didn't demand a job or an extension. I didnt do a path of citizenship on my student visa. Do it the correct way.

I have been hearing this racist rant since I came 53 years ago blaming the immigrants. I have never worked less than 50 hrs a week since coming to Canada and am enjoying my hard-earned retirement. I'm afraid you don't mention that all Students must bring at least $50,000 for their duration. Imagine all the jobs they created e.g. Teachers, bought food and other essentials. By the way, they have their own medical insurance. There is a shortage of workers, and small businesses can find workers. The other day we stopped in Barry'Bay for coffee they were closing the place at 2:30 pm because they didn't have enough people. You cannot blame students for the housing crisis there are other factors. Canada's economy is doing fine compared to other G-7 countries. More foreign students will fuel the research and development of this country, so please respect them.

My son graduated in computer engineering last year and during his co-op, he joined a company where he was the only one who wasn't from India. People didn't even bother to speak in English. Canada has turned into New Delhi.

Germany is not for beginners. I started a small hobby garden project with a German. After 4-5 months of work at the end while harvesting he just flipped and demands just because he spents a lil more time in the garden, (which no one asked him to) he is entitled to the best looking vegetables, not only that he should get even few kilos more. I live in Northern Ontario. I didn't update my passport so all of my disability papers and history are at the hospital. The doctor says it's not a good idea for me to move. So I'm stuck here for life. I do get free medications, free dental plan, free emergency visits, free psychiatrist appointments, free visits to my family doctor and a free disability cheque. So, on the contrary, I got it made here! No use complaining when Canadian Healthcare literally hands things to you without paying. They even deliver my meds!

Immigration per se is not bad, but too much of it, especially too much from one country alone, will offset the demographic balance and is always bad for the country. When my sisters' families drove over from the US to Toronto last month, they were shocked to find that Canada is overwhelmed by Indians! And bad, disrespectful drivers too! I didn't realize that because I was here all along, it needed fresh eyes to see the reality of what happened to Canada.

I have many friends who are 3rd generation Indians who speak the language and know the culture just as i do.\nThey do not try to turn Canada into india, and in turn they are accepted and respected by all.\nThe young indian students coming to Canada have been exploited in india by promoting a back door into PR status through the international student program and in Canada by employers who take advantage of their fear of deportation.\nThe blame lies on the recruiting in India, the post seconday system in Canada, the employers like Tim Hortons, uber, skip the dishes and door dash who put profits over living standards.\n The majority of the blame goes to the govt of Canada for turning a blind eye to something that everyone saw but didnt talk about for fear of being labeled a racist.\nReturn immigration to 500,000 per year including refugees, students seeking to stay and all other groups and you will see all will go back to how it was 10 years ago.\nPeace and love.

My recent visit to the Landesamt für Einwanderung in Berlin was a stressful: i am a freelance musician applying for an official music teacher's position. There was a summit of 5 people there that could not wrap their heads around what papers i didn't fill in, so they gave me a piece of paper that legitimates my stay for one more year and said I'd need one more paper to proof that I am skilled enough. I tried to get one more appointment after filling in the papers, but no answer. Me and my employer are now stuck in this together, because we need each other more, than the immigration office thinks we do.

Why protest? Student visa is only for studying, that means you don’t have work permits to apply for permanent residency as per you visa guidance, if Canadian have enough jobs only to get a job for work permits, if doesn’t need to go back, you didn’t pay any taxes for our country and wasted taxpayer money

I have also experienced medical fraud with radiologists from India and an Indian gp... good people in every race.. but the bad ones have now spoiled it for everyone. i have a few bad experiences with east indians ( pls. note am not hating, just expressing my dissapointment.\n1) i went to Tim Horton with my 2 other friends and ordered coffe, we waited 5 minutes one of my friend got his coffee after 5 mins.\nmy other friend 8 mins. and already at this moment they're giving coffees from people who were behind us... which is east indians - 10 mins. i still didn't get my coffee and i asked them twice about my order and these people behind me were already enjoying their coffee...i finally got my coffee when my friends almost done with theirs.\nI barely go to Tim Hortons anymore.\n2) Domo gas station - i asked for premium and the served me regular gas ?\ni don't know if the're paying attention to their job or just intentionally doung it.
